  1. They could get around the problems with using Mind Flayers by simply calling them Star Spawns, which is what they were to begin with. Thankfully nobody owns Weresharks.
  2. Thanks for putting up this poll, I hate NPCs saying 'Moonshadow' or whatever every time they see my character.
  3. This man is clearly a monk (in the traditional D&D sense). He is a confirmed companion. I bet he knows Kung Fu. I certainly appreciate your idea of adding flagellants to PE, but I think it's a bit late for flagellant to replace monk in the class list. What abilities would you give the flagellant subtype of monk? Given we know that you will witness a horrible event at the start of the game it would make sense for a portion of the population to go a bit crazy. A Wandering group of flagellants would make for a nice early-level encounter.
  4. I think soul-stones akin to those the Psions of third edition would be pretty cool familiars.
  5. Am I the only one who wants to kill a god in game?
  6. I think some elves should be taller than humans, some shorter. I still think Aloth is a Drow.
  7. Give me heads on pikes. I need to think this over a bit more.
  8. I hope Plato's theory of recollection is brought up at some point or another.
  9. I would like to see a nice mix of various regional culture's monsters. Don't forget the Kraken, Werewolves and Giants.
  10. Could you describe a few? I'm pretty ignorant unless Baba Yaga counts.
  11. I voted for your character to start off without proper adventure gear. I prefer being able to chose what weapon I specialize in as I play rather than decide at level 1 I'm going to be a Claymore user. A way to generate your gear at character generation could be alright so long as it was well balenced.
  12. I love random when it is placed in proper context. Dwarf Fortress's randomization is amazing! It's just in how naturally the random decision fits in the situation. I shouldn't find 2d10 GP in every Boar I kill.
  13. Let it start off like snowball rolling down a mountain; very small at first yet expanding steadily with the plot.
  14. While I voted for IWD, I think it would be nice if the art style of PE's spells was unique.
  15. I really hope the folks you recruit from the Adventurer's hall aren't mutes. They should react to your actions. Obviously they won't be as fleshed out as the main companion NPCs, but it'd really suck if they never said anything ever.
  16. Just give me an axe and I'll be fine, thanks. I am really excited to see how the Barbarian class is represented.
  17. I want a pet spider. A big one.
  18. If Vampires are in, so should Werewolves. If Werewolves exist, so can Wersharks. My experience fighting Vampires and Werewolves in Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale was pretty positive, I'd like another try.
  19. Someone who looks and sounds a whole lot like Bhaal, lord of Murder. Also don't forget the great Horned Rat.
  20. I believe it was semi-confirmed during the final livecast that high-level mages could become necromancers or liches. I don't know if I want the Full-metal treatment of resurrection though.
  21. When I hear that a fantasy game has firearms I go straight for the gunsword. Why the hell not? PEW PEW PEW I just hope they're well balanced.
  22. When I play Crusader Kings 2, I typically end up with a dungeon full to the brim with traitors. Being able to decide what happens to X rebel leader/ Religious Fanatic/ Do-Gooder could create interesting gameplay. I just hope that a prison isn't prioritized before a mage's quarters, training room, prayer room. Perhaps we will have the chance to select what sort of room occupies a space or expansion.
  23. Aloth, he looks like a Drow.
  24. Summon weak animals should be a level 1 Mage spell that summons 1d6 cats. You could throw them at the enemy.
  25. After I read that character description I keep calling him 'Detective Perrywinkle'.
