Zupa Szczawiowa (Sorrel Soup): One of my all time favorite soups. Sorrel isn't indigenous to North America and it's not something I can find at my local grocery store, so I grew my own. Absolutely worth the wait.

I would go with "Quote in the Title"

Give me a mod where I play as Gun Jesus and I'm in. You think that's sacrilegious, there sre several MegaTen games that include YHVH and the Tetragrammaton is generally not portrayed in a positive light... I guess that depends on where you sit on the order/chaos spectrum.

I have information of utmost importance. I have confirmed that you can pet the kitty: I repeat: You can pet the kitty.

Early going, but I'm really enjoying this game so far. The art style is fantastic. I purposely avoided most information on the game to go into it blind. I'm not sure where the story is going to go, but I went with Rapscallion, Occultism, and Rhetoric with an aim to do some blasphemous scheming if the opportunity presents itself. I'm not going to openly defy the church, but I won't let them push me around either and I'm not above undermining them from the shadows. What could possibly go wrong? Edit: I managed to convince Sister Illuminata to let me keep the condemned French book because I was eager to help her and I am a skilled orator. I don't know what the book is because I chose Italian as my travels choice, hence I can't read French, but I feel devilish for convincing a nun to turn a blind eye to her duty.

Hot dang, my local ABC Spirits had not just the good stuff, but the really good stuff: Surprisingly, this was less than $10 more than the 12 year old Dewar's I usually drink. Typically, once you go older than 12 year old whisky the price rises sharply. I've only had the 15 year old once before and it's so dang smooth and delicious that I may drink the whole bottle by mistake and start drunk posting. If you see some really stupid posts from me, worse than my usual really stupid posts, you know what happened.

I've got it pre-loaded on xXxBOxXx but I won't get to play it until I get home tomorrow afternoon.

I'm not the least bit surprised that muh Boys lost today. It doesn't matter how well we've been playing or how poorly Green Bay has been playing, the Packers are our boogeyman. We'll always lose to them.

I've beaten every stage in Vampire Survivors. I can confidently say that this is a legit GotY contender. Obviously, from a technical standpoint, VS isn't going to stack up against Elden Ring or Dad of War 2, but I personally weigh fun factor and engagement much more than any other factor, it's like 2/3 of the equation. This game is off the charts in the fun factor department, it's like a 14/10 and it hooked me like no game has hooked me in years. I still have a few things to unlock, some weapons to evolve, and perhaps a character or two to get. I almost never care about 100% completing games, I don't care about achievement and trophies, but in this case I'm going to try because it's an excuse to play it more.

If gaming is your main focus and you're looking to go Team Red, I would hold off until the 7000 X3D models come out. They're supposed to arrive a lot sooner than the 5800 X3D did after the 5000 series launch, plus there will be more than just 1 model this time. We've already seen how much of an improvement in gaming the extra cache makes (it's significant) and AMD doesn't have a clear lead over Intel this time around, in fact, the 13000 series chips from Team Blue are generally a better bargain (never thought I'd see the day when Intel was the budget brand), so AMD doesn't have the luxury of waiting.

For those of you looking to do some bespectacled wizarding: /checks "bespectacled" off vocabulary list

Cinema and Movie Thread: I like to remember things my own way.

Me neither, and I say that as someone who has thoroughly enjoyed a number of his movies, namely Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill (both), and the criminally underappreciated Jackie Brown. -

Could a movie like A Clockwork Orange even be made today? Who would have both the balls and the pull to adapt such a shocking, dark, and cynical work of satire today? The only director still active that I can think of that would both be foolhardy enough and could get a major studio to sign off on it is Tarantino. Edit: I suppose someone could self-fund it, then they could do whatever they want. A Clockwork Orange was one of Kubrick's more low budget movies, which makes what he achieved all the more impressive. -
That's not what I meant, there were multiple watermelon smashing Gallaghers, at least 2. I'm guessing it's the OG that died.

Which one? Weren't there 2 of them?

When you get a good run going, this game goes full on bat$#!+ insane.
