I started up Bayonetta 3. What is there to say? It's Bayonetta, it's ludicrously over the top action schlock. The hardware is really holding the game back. While the character models look great, the backgrounds look like something out of an early XBOX360 game, really flat and washed out with hardly any detail. I can't blame Platinum for that, they did the best they could with aging hardware that was already underpowered when it came out over half a decade to go. The good news is that the framerate is solid and the action silky smooth, which is what really matters. Still, it's pretty obvious that the Switch's lifespan is about over, Nintendo needs to introduce a more powerful system soon. I'm going to set it aside until I finish Plague 2: The Ratening.

I can do a lot of things terribly. I'm not actually going to go out or even answer the door like that. I imagine parents getting freaked out when their trick or treaters are greeted by a guy holding an "evil black rifle". Even if I would make sure it was empty and the safety was on, they don't know that. I just dressed up for a goof when I realized I had everything for the costume at home.

I can't imagine anyone following her advice now that she's admitted to lying not being completely forthright, but regardless, why not just say "charity" and leave it at that? Why even open up the abortion can of worms? She's not doing herself any favors. She's somehow got 3 of her own feet in her mouth.

The Bucs are 3-5, they look terrible, and yet I still think they will win their awful division.

I've reached chapter 4 in Plague 2: Rat Boogaloo. Near the end of chapter 3 there was what I guess would kind of sort of qualify as a boss fight. It's the only part of the game I haven't liked so far because it forced me to fight. I mean, this game isn't Deus Ex, but it kind of felt similar to those boss fights in Human Revolution that felt so out of place from the rest of the game. The majority of the game is rather stealth focused and it gives you a decent bit of freedom on how to get through areas, letting you try to ghost an area, have the rats kill soldiers, or kill the soldiers yourself, plus there are multiple paths. Then you have a forced fight and it feels like a different game. Oh well, hopefully there aren't too many more forced fights.

I just need some surgical gloves and I can dress as Kenosha Kyle for Halloween.

Smooth so far on the xXxBOxXx. There are no modes to choose from, so I can't say for sure if it's running at 30 or 60 FPS, but I've not yet had any hiccups, stutters, or noticeable frame rate drops.

Who knew that Punjabi was the best language for metal? Note: I am no expert on Indian dialects, if that's Hindi rather than Punjabi then please correct me.

I've been playing A Plague Tale: Requiem. It's pretty good. It's mainly a stealth game. I never played the first game, but I know enough about it that there's a rat plague and Amicia's little brother Hugo is the Rat King. Hopefully, eventually I'll be able to control the rats and use them to kill soldiers. I mean, I can kind of do that already by putting soldiers' torches out, but I'm hoping for rat tornadoes and such.

That's the biggest surprise of this season. Geno Smith is... Good? (I've gotten so many years of use out of that Blink 182 gif)

Can they remove the swamp and replace it with something not awful? Alternatively, make the swamp not suck.

Antonio Brown is definitely a piece of $#!+, but I still got a laugh out of him selling that shirt to **** with Tommy Terrific. It's an absolutely tasteless move, but I love me some tasteless comedy.

Mahakaal (1993) - A ripoff of A Nightmare on Elm Street from India where ersatz Freddy Krueger haunts a family and their friends, initially in their dreams. This movie doesn't know what tone it's going for. At times it's tense and spooky, at times it's dramatic, and then all of a sudden it will wildly shift into goofy, over the top, slapstick comedy. Then there are the obligatory dancing and singing sequences. There aren't as many as I expected in a 2+ hour movie in Hindi, but they're definitely there. The final half hour or so, in particular, is a complete mess of confusing bat**** crazy weirdness. Despite the wild shifts in tone and nigh incomprehensible plot, the movie never stops being entertaining. It's a mess, but it's a joyous mess; definitely a worthwhile seasonally appropriate spooky movie.

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the random and weird thread, since I do find it funny, but there's no actual joke here, this is 100% accurate: Anyone living outside Murica might look at that and think "wait, what!?". Murica has some really confusing gun laws.
