Why do camp sites disappear?
Ink Blot replied to CameraLuv's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
You can use the in-game developer console to rest anywhere without supplies, but this will disable achievements if you're on the Steam version. -
how to separate stacked items?

Double click on the stack. -
Physical Box Ship Date?
Ink Blot replied to theADOLESCENT's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Can't give you a definitive but I'd be surprised if it were more than a few days. I'm in Canada and it's targeted for April 3 to 9 for me. You should be far faster being in the contiguous US. -
Cant get to my backer portal
Ink Blot replied to Byeohazard's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Happened to me as well. Check your script blocker if you have one. Otherwise, just keep trying a refresh. It eventually appeared for me. -

So... Was it worth your pledge?
Ink Blot replied to Luridis's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Not going to vote yet, but if the rest of the game is as good as the four hours I've played so far, then it's a resounding 'Without question'. -
Physical Box Ship Date?
Ink Blot replied to theADOLESCENT's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Nah, shipped from the US via USPS (at least, that's what the e-mail says). Not a point of stress for me though. I've ordered things from the US many times and it always takes at least a week to 10 days. I'm not on pins and needles to get the physical goodies since I have the game to amuse me as well as all the digital goodies from my backer tier. When it arrives I'll, of course, stroke it, smell it, call it Precioussss, and go hide it in my cave. -
Physical Box Ship Date?
Ink Blot replied to theADOLESCENT's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
For posterity, I got the e-mail from Paradox that mine shipped today. Estimated delivery date is April 3rd to April 9th. I'm in Canada (ironically, I could drive down to Obsidian's offices and back faster than the earliest estimated delivery date, but I don't really care since my GOG copy is working just great). -
I backed at the $500 tier and got only one digital key. Not a huge deal for me, as I'm the only one going to be playing in this household though. But Lephys' suggestion of generating a GOG key for those that planned on playing with friends is a good one (assuming they check this thread before generating the key).

Refund policy
Ink Blot replied to amblingon's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Yeah, probably not going to get the refund. I also suggest just putting the game aside and waiting for a patch (but do report your issues as well as your system specs in the tech forum). This isn't unusual for any game at launch - there are always people that have issues. Hell, I had a sound glitch (but managed to fix it by turning off the tutorial tips). Other than that though, it's been smooth as silk for me so far. Hope you get some resolution for your troubles though. -
Day one patch?
Ink Blot replied to xsubtownerx's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Why on earth would you think that? That's like buying a Steam key from a legitimate source like Green Man Gaming and asking Valve to confirm it's legit. -
Sound issue, strange clipping noise
Ink Blot replied to Orphidos's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Heh, I was just going to post to suggest disabling the tutorial tips as well. Keep on adventuring, then, folks! -
Day one patch?
Ink Blot replied to xsubtownerx's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Darren already confirmed, but just to clarify for anyone else that may be wondering: the blue text in the thread I linked is a GOG employee. -
Day one patch?
Ink Blot replied to xsubtownerx's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Whether this includes the supposed "Day 1 patch" or not, I have no idea, but I sure bloody hope so, considering how slow GOG usually is with patching otherwise. GOG version includes the day 1 patch. See Here -
Sound issue, strange clipping noise
Ink Blot replied to Orphidos's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Same issue here. If I reload a save that had the issue without exiting the game completely, the sound glitch is still there. Running onboard sound on Gigabyte EX58-UD5 motherboard with Core i7 920 processor, GTX560Ti, and game's installed on an OCZ SSD. Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. My video drivers are not up to date, so I'll do that, although I doubt it has anything to do with the sound glitch. -
IT'S NOT HERE (on Steam)
Ink Blot replied to Longknife's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Check your backer portal. Should be there, at least. -
Official Keys Thread v 1.01
Ink Blot replied to VladWorks's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Your tier entitles you to two copies of the game. What Obs did is try to map what your tier gave with what is included with the different versions. With your tier, the closest they could come is with a Royal Edition and a Hero Edition. There may also be a couple things not included in those two combined that you'll have to grab from the backer portal as well. -

It's one of those things that's totally a personal decision. GOG, as noted, is fine with it. But strictly by the EULA of almost all games, even on GOG, you're supposed to buy one copy per person. As I said though, GOG staff have said they have no issue with families sharing a single copy within the same household. And I get the feeling they feel it's ridiculous (as do I) that you need to buy multiple copies of a game if you're playing in your own house on your own machines. Follow your conscience on this though.
