It looks like Obsidian's next crowdfunded game will not get on Kickstarter. https://www.fig.co/about The Advisory Board includes Brian Fargo, Tim Schafer, and Feargus. http://www.polygon.com/2015/8/18/9169697/fig-kickstarter-equity-investment-games-outer-wilds-masi-oka "Urquhart, Fargo and Schafer will each be spending time and energy to vet Fig projects ahead of time. Only then will they be allowed to go live on the service. Additionally, all three of their companies — Obsidian Entertainment, inXile Entertainment and Double Fine Productions — will use Fig to fund future titles." So essentially, Fig is a Kickstarter-esque crowdfunding platform geared specifically towards game development while also providing the option of equity investment.

I seem to remember them being about $30. I thought the XP add on was $25. Which begs the question, if you backed at a kick starter level that includes the XP, does this only provide for Part One, or do you get both?

On the fence with this one. D:OS is a good game but I couldn't get too much into it, as the art style is just too over the top and grating for me. I'll give it a go again when they release the update. Maybe my mind may change.

So if true, 5 months development time for Part 1 and 7 months for Part 2? As a point of reference, TotSC was released 4 months after BG, and ToB came 9 months after BG2. HoW came 8 months after IWD. TotLM came 4 months after that.

Level cap is raised to 14. As far as I know, no information released yet as to how the transition to part 2 will be handled.

Made a ragout in the Bolognese style(ish). In goes the carrots, celery, and the Vidalia onions I smuggled from the east coast on my Southwest flight. Then added ground chuck, ground pork, and hot Italian sausage. Seasoned with Vietnamese fish sauce. Already had a a previously opened bottle of cheap merlot, so I poured out half a glass or so and added a can of peeled San Marzanos. Threw in sage and basil from the garden. Let simmer for 2 1/2 hours cuz I got hungry and it was already 11pm. Used coconut milk because it was the only liquid "dairy" product I had in the house.

Patch 2.0 will be released concurrently with the White March XP, but the opt-in 2.0 patch beta should be released on Steam soonish --maybe today.
