  1. Vegas Odds as of 5/4/15 at Bovada. 2016 US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION - PRESIDENT OF THE USA ODDS Hillary Clinton 13/10 Jeb Bush 4/1 Scott Walker 10/1 Marco Rubio 12/1 Elizabeth Warren 14/1 Rand Paul 14/1 Chris Christie 18/1 Ben Carson 33/1 Bobby Jindal 33/1 Martin O'Malley 33/1 Ted Cruz 33/1 Joe Biden 40/1 Kirsten Gillibrand 40/1 Andrew Cuomo 50/1 Bob McDonnell 50/1 Deval Patrick 50/1 Jim Webb 50/1 John Kasich 50/1 Mark Warner 50/1 Michael Bloomberg 50/1 Paul Ryan 50/1 Rick Santorum 50/1 Condoleeza Rice 66/1 Rahm Emanuel 66/1 Rob Portman 66/1 Susana Martinez 66/1 Al Gore 100/1 Donald Trump 100/1 George Clooney 100/1 Michelle Obama 150/1 2016 US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION - WINNING PARTY Democratic Party -200 Republican Party +160 2016 US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION - GENDER OF WINNER Male -165 Female +125 Hillary is the heavy deep favorite at 13/10 and a Democrat taking the oval office is essentially getting 2 to 1. Of course, based on male vs female, it's the field that's getting the favorite treatment vs. Hillary. Still, Republicans are getting decent value at +160. You'd be getting the worst of it to bet on Hillary Clinton at 13/10 and Democrats at -200. I wouldn't even touch the gender "lines" either way. -165 and +125 is garbage value for both. Lols @Bernie Sanders not even getting listed.
  2. Lols. His headband mojo is approaching Cliff Robinson levels.
  3. Is this for real? It's a joke. http://www.polygon.com/2015/5/5/8552979/avengers-black-widow-****-shaming-jeremy-renner Get a grip.
  4. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/long-awaited-deflate-gate-investigation-implicates-pats--tom-brady-173408354.html Tom Brady and Bill Belicheat are one and the same.
  5. Huh. Memphis took one at Oracle. Gotta give some dap to Mike Conley and Tony Allen. They balled tonight.
  6. I think I clicked on the right button.
  7. Toto FINALLY gets theIr deserved Grantland longform treatment. http://grantland.com/hollywood-prospectus/q80s-totos-dave-paich-on-writing-and-recording-africa/
  8. Cool. The one true MVP this season was correctly awarded the MVP. And his name ain't James.
  9. ...and I thought Warriors playoff tickets broke my budget...
  10. Round 2 Warriors vs Grizzlies. Golden State in 5. Vegas put the line for the Warriors at -1160(!!) to win the series. Yikes. Rockets vs Clippers. LA in 6. Hawks vs Bullets. Atlanta in 6. Cavaliers vs Bulls. Cleveland in 7. Clippers vs Spurs was a classic first round series. Good entertaining basketball. Clutch plays from both sides and the requisite whining and flopping from Doc, Griffin, and CP3 --solidifying their place as the least likable team in the playoffs.
  11. I'm not sure what you people mean when you say that this fight was overhyped. From reports and what I'm hearing, the promotion of this "fight off the century" was that this was actually under-hyped and not optimally promoted. At least that's what Bob Arum and Oscar De La Hoya are asserting. Of course, they were essentially shut out by Mayweather's group so there's significant butthurt from that... Still, lots of folks are happy and the business was lucrative --especially for Vegas. Lots of action all around behind the cage and plenty of bets going against the house --even last minute with Pacquiao at +170. Personal misgivings aside, Mayweather is still an all time great fighter and an absolute clinician between the ropes. This fight solidifies his legacy and in many ways legitimizes his 48-0 record. And Pac is still a national treasure in the PI with hundreds of millions - if not billions firmly backing him. I watched the fight at a house with 20 others (including rabid Filipinos) for a good day of sports --beginning with the ridicule of the NFL Draft, to the Kentucky Derby, then the Clippers upset of the Spurs, and capped with Main bout itself. Excellent day for prop bets all around.
  12. Bruce, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned what a misogynist Mayweather is. http://www.businessinsider.com/floyd-mayweather-domestic-violence-history-2015-4
  13. Vegas originally had the line with Pac as a 5 to 1 underdog on announcement to get action on Pac, but tightened up to a more sensible Mayweather as 2 to 1 favorite. I almost bit with Mayweather at -201 yesterday but decided against it as I couldn't stand betting on the wifebeating scumbag, let alone putting $$ on a favorite. Pac was at +170, which my heart wanted me to still take, knowing full well it's a fool's bet.
  14. Speaking of Sawyer... http://gamasutra.com/view/news/241669/Novelty_out_of_nostalgia_Josh_Sawyer_on_Pillars_of_Eternity.php Looks like he's back.
  15. I thought Gaider was pretty upfront with Rylock if I recall. But that was his handle for non-Bio boards. ...Waiting on a long line of Obsidian dev alts proclaiming "I am Spartacus!"
  16. Is this a new theory or something you've been suspecting for a while now...regarding a specific alt? There goes my Josh is trolling us with Volo theories...

  18. Heh. Didn't realize they were just my team. Hurlie's been a pretty vocal supporter too! Man, I was really impressed with Anthony Davis. I knew he was a beast, but having watched him over this series, the dude is a smooth operator. I alluded to this earlier, but he is the anti-Blake Griffin. Excellent footwork and a feel for the game. Everything looks so natural and fluid. Once he gets some additional seasoning, his game is going to really explode. When he learns not to bite so hard on pump fakes and learn optimal positioning, he'll be an absolute terror on defense. On talent alone, he could surpass Duncan and Garnett as the best power forward of this century. I don't see Portland coming back down 0-3 against the Grizz. Out West, my concern for the Warriors matchup wise is facing San Antonio and Memphis. But it'll be an interesting paradox for Memphis. They'll try to dictate the pace and slow down the game and try to brutalize the Warriors with physicality. The problem is, the Warriors are 43-0 when their opponents score less than 100 points this year. They'll be screwed if they play at Golden State's preferred pace, yet they'll go against the tide if they are successful in completely shutting down the running game.
  19. This just about covers it. They are working on 1.05 and incorporating fixes as they go along.
  20. Massive Attack + Mazzy Star = WINNER.
  21. Interesting theory and the numbers seem to back it up. Lebron's rebounding percentage has definitely taken a bit of a nose dive this year (from 13.1% in 12-13 to 11.5% last year, to 9.5% this year)...but can also be attributed that he's playing as more of a traditional 3, rather than the 4 position as he was in Miami. He'll be more effective operating out of the high post rather than the perimeter, just like his last couple years with the Heat. I actually see Lebron moving back to the 4 spot next season after Love bails for the Lakers or Celtics, and I think that's the "position" he's going to play for the rest of his career. Because you know...the Larry Bird trajectory.
  22. Down 20 points in the fourth. Eyes were closed.

Because he is the single most dangerous hitter from the post color barrier era. Because he is the greatest left fielder in the history of the game. Because his felony perjury indictment was dropped and obstruction of justice conviction overturned by an overwhelming 10-1 decision by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Barry Bonds is the best baseball player you'll ever see in your lifetime. Fact.
  24. Shogun 2 is arguably the best and most polished of the series. However, after Rome 2, Total War is no longer an automatic must buy for me.
