Heh. Didn't realize they were just my team. Hurlie's been a pretty vocal supporter too! Man, I was really impressed with Anthony Davis. I knew he was a beast, but having watched him over this series, the dude is a smooth operator. I alluded to this earlier, but he is the anti-Blake Griffin. Excellent footwork and a feel for the game. Everything looks so natural and fluid. Once he gets some additional seasoning, his game is going to really explode. When he learns not to bite so hard on pump fakes and learn optimal positioning, he'll be an absolute terror on defense. On talent alone, he could surpass Duncan and Garnett as the best power forward of this century. I don't see Portland coming back down 0-3 against the Grizz. Out West, my concern for the Warriors matchup wise is facing San Antonio and Memphis. But it'll be an interesting paradox for Memphis. They'll try to dictate the pace and slow down the game and try to brutalize the Warriors with physicality. The problem is, the Warriors are 43-0 when their opponents score less than 100 points this year. They'll be screwed if they play at Golden State's preferred pace, yet they'll go against the tide if they are successful in completely shutting down the running game.

The technical team is still alive?
Leferd replied to TT1's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
This just about covers it. They are working on 1.05 and incorporating fixes as they go along. -
Massive Attack + Mazzy Star = WINNER.

Interesting theory and the numbers seem to back it up. Lebron's rebounding percentage has definitely taken a bit of a nose dive this year (from 13.1% in 12-13 to 11.5% last year, to 9.5% this year)...but can also be attributed that he's playing as more of a traditional 3, rather than the 4 position as he was in Miami. He'll be more effective operating out of the high post rather than the perimeter, just like his last couple years with the Heat. I actually see Lebron moving back to the 4 spot next season after Love bails for the Lakers or Celtics, and I think that's the "position" he's going to play for the rest of his career. Because you know...the Larry Bird trajectory.

Down 20 points in the fourth. Eyes were closed.

Because he is the single most dangerous hitter from the post color barrier era. Because he is the greatest left fielder in the history of the game. Because his felony perjury indictment was dropped and obstruction of justice conviction overturned by an overwhelming 10-1 decision by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Barry Bonds is the best baseball player you'll ever see in your lifetime. Fact.

Shogun 2 is arguably the best and most polished of the series. However, after Rome 2, Total War is no longer an automatic must buy for me.

Association Football already has.

Baseball has caught up with basketball on the mass adoption of these tracking cameras and software package.

RPGCodex Review #1 - Hŵrpa Dwrp
Leferd replied to Sensuki's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
VD has shredded games in the past, both before starting AOD and during. I don't really see how you can be 'predicting' how other people are going to review the games - but I guess it's a very thinly disguised way of saying "hey if you read those positive reviews keep in mind one guy's a shill and another guy well at least he realises how some of the game sucks." Yep. Poisoning the well much? -

Yawn. Waiting on Vault Dweller's review. -
Dude, if this is consistently happening, maybe it is you and you're giving off a skeevy vibe. Put on a friggin hoodie! Wait...that may not help...

I really loved the story, characters, and overall presentation of the first Mass Effect. I was hooked. It had excellent 80's style science fiction aesthetics --in both the "cinematography" and soundtrack. Too bad the combat sucked and there was a lot of recycled and repetitive level design. ME 2's combat was a significant improvement, but was worst in all other areas compared to the original. I only got through two hours of ME 3, so I can't comment on it too much other than to say I didn't enjoy it very much.

I'll give this to Blake Griffin: He's worked hard to improve on his deficiencies. Most notably, he's an improved defender; he's no longer a liability on the free throw line; and he's now serviceable enough from midrange that defenses have to be mindful about giving him an open 18 footer. Combine that with his freak athleticism, strength, passing skills, and uncanny shotmaking ability --he's a top 10 player. That said, he still plays like a bull in a china shop. Unlike Anthony Davis and especially Tim Duncan, he has absolutely dreadful footwork. Hell, I learned better post footwork after one week of basketball camp in 7th grade --and I played guard. Blake Griffin is the anti-Big Fundamental. Lets be honest. Absolutely no way Blake Griffin will ever win an MVP. Not enough players, coaches, fans, and especially media people respect his game. His reputation is shot from all the constant flopping, whining, and fake tough guy act that he puts on. More saliently, there are just plenty of better players than him from really good teams that'll block his candidacy while in his prime years. ... ...Oh and this is awesome. SPURS. Bonner, Kawhi, Baynes, Mills, and the Coyote!

Can the next Kickstarter please be Star Wars RPG?
Leferd replied to Lendrick's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah, that starship won't fly. A Kickstarter's not happening. Disney won't use crowd funding to raise capital for a video game. Pretty much, either Obsidian needs to make a compelling pitch to Disney as to why they should develop another SW RPG, or Disney unilaterally decides to select Obsidian to make them their game. -

I'm in for the Josh Sawyer's Pirates! spinoff. -
Blake Griffin is to flopping as Arjen Robben is to diving.

Dany, Dany, Dany... Or as Jalen puts it more succinctly:

Meanwhile, in other comic book properties... But it's not part of the "Marvel" universe.
