  1. I prefer IWD (the first one) and Baldur's Gate-style UI. Why not just keep it? Most modern UIs are just terrible, too 'minimalist'.
  2. I always wondered what would happen if I 'failed' a GOAT in Fallout 3, or failed to save the father, or to stop the Enclave. Alas, modern games don't allow us this option: you will, indeed, succeed no matter what. And that's not a success at all.
  3. Not to mention Tim Cain.
  4. I am not against it, I am just saying that this isn't very important. And DA isn't a very good example - it doesn't have proper sheathing. Even Skyrim did a better job.
  5. Judging by the video they released, they aren't going to implement that. And I think it's fine. Sheathing weapons is a nice feature to have, but for an isometric game, this is not that important.
  6. They will use their own system for Eternity, loosely based on D&D, but they didn't talk about attributes yet.
  7. I love Comic Sans, but Verdana is even better.
  8. Perhaps they (those who created the concept) tried to show that the Jxamitl are alien to Americans/Western Europeans hence the strange name and the mix of different 'alien' influences (Mesoamerican, Eastern European or even Chinese).
  9. Yeah! But ixamitl in my opionion have some mix between slavic and east cultures( like 30%/70%). Even word Ixamitl is not quiete slavic. I mean, i`m slavic and just cant spell this word in slavic manner, it`s just dont fit. Maybe they are 'slavic' from American perspective)) Jxamitl, of course, isn't slavic at all, this is something Mayan I guess.
  10. Skuldr does look as a predator, an ambush predator most likely. Too slow to stalk his prey, he probably lies in waiting and relies on his soul sonar.
  11. Maybe they can see into your soul or something)))
  12. So I can't be a native, Glanfathan elf for example? No. The player can't be a native Glanfathan or Dyrwoodan. We want your character to be as unfamiliar with this area as the player is. I understand the reasons, but FFFFUUUUUUU...
  13. So I can't be a native, Glanfathan elf for example?
  14. What I want them to make? An original sci-fi RPG, something like Old World Blues (but probably less insane and more serious).
  15. Stop demanding darker nights, please. Running around and fighting monsters in pitch dark really isn't as fun as it sounds.
  16. Yes, please! I like how they move. It's cool that Obsidian didn't forget that people can walk. It really annoys me in some games where you are able to run only.
  17. I think that most of the us pirates had already bought the game via kickstarter. PE uses a different model of funding, so I don't think that piracy will affect it much anyway. It may even do some good: people who will pirate it may consider donating to the next kickstarter campaign. Some of them, at least.
  18. A naked lady. And you can say something like "Are you a wild woman from the hills?"
  19. Those stretch goals sure look ambitious.
  20. This isn't confirmed, yet. I hope that with regards to moving the party through confined spaces, it didn't capture the IE feeling too closely... Nope, we've got a solution for that. Bobby or Josh will go into that in a future update. If you fix pathfinding, then PE will be the best game ever!
  21. NWN2 OC actually. I've just defeated Lorne, but will probably not complete it (yet again).
