honestly , I think one can do both (haven't seen a game that does it though ) . I think you can have a good gripping story , and the open world stuff . But so far , nobody found a balance . It's either , have open world and the story suck (Skyrim is a good exemple , DAI did the same ) , or have a good story but then you have open world fan whine that is 'Limiting' . Also , maybe open world games could be their own games . I mean , let say someone make a BG3 . Why should it be open world ? cose someone like it ? No , maybe some games should be linear and some should be open world

Omg this. Everything is so visually bland and boring now. What happened to Cipher's "lightsaber" from PoE 1? That was awesome. There were lots of complaints about this kind of stuff especially. A lot of people thought it made it hard to see what was going on. Hum..really? but there are weapons you can find that are very Glowy . If they did it cose of the complain , then no weapon should glow .

Well, there's also a third group, like me, who are more or less indifferent. For me the story, the companions and the side quests are always more interesting than combat itself. And since the different easy settings caters to people like me, we have little interest in PotD difficulty. This exactly. I've played PoE many times (though finished it only once). And every time I replay it I only play at the easy or story mode. The story, the side quests, the companions, and my own character's development are all that I care about, and I generally hate the combat situations. That's a legitimat

Factions: Sick of them
E.RedMark replied to AlphaShard's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
as much as I hate skylame , at least they didn't bicker . If anything , they were something you could walk away from and don't feel guilty about not joining ever . Here as soon as you find the castle...its politic..politic..politic.... wonder if they got along , how it would feel like...imagine , all those ships behind you in the end ! -
I played the old Shining force... Man..that was good . And never heard of a 3rd !! But if it was on Saturn , then yeah .

companions dialogues were firing too fast . As for them coming onto you....you can say no . And sure it make sense ! you fight monsters , don't you ? does that make sense ? Sureeeeeeeee...! you are a cipher that throw magic , does that make sense ? Sureeeee!....everyone is Bi ? Damn right it make sense... Sigh. 1. I don't want to have to say no to my companions. 2. I love it when people use the fantasy setting as a rule to allow all sorts of nonsense. Next up, space ships, laser rifles, cars and anime characters. Because reasons. and I love it when peoples hide behind 'reality s

Couldn't figure out where such a topic gotta go , so I'm putting it here . Hopefully it's the right place . (Mods plz move it , if you think it shouldn't be here . Thank you!) . Anyway , pick 3 of most wanted desire..goodies or whatever and pretty much this here is where I'm hoping we can request stuff they can ACTUALLY add to the game . Now don't go overboard and request stuff like a Mount , seriously . 1- A special slot for Godlike where peoples want to use the +2 from hat . Right now , Godlike can't use hat and for good reasons . Homewhever , they shouldn't be penalized
