  1. Hello Rimda, I'm sorry you ran into a progression break for that quest with the quest items not being where they should. Would you be able to send me a copy of your save file where I can have someone take a look into this and toss the item into your inventory? If needed, you can find instructions on how to obtain the save file here. If you could send the save to me at support@obsidian.net along with a link to this thread as a reference would be great. Thank you Rimda, and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
  2. Hello Lost, I'm sorry you are having troubles with crashes and flickering lighting in the scenes. Have you happened to notice if you have been having these issues in other areas since you posted this? if you could send us the crash files and a save game where this is occurring to support@obsidian.net, I would be super appreciative. I'd like to have the team take a look at these files as well as the save to see if we can reproduce the issue and understand what could be causing this better. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.
  3. Hey Phenomenum, Thank you for letting us know about this. I'm curious if other folks are getting this as well. It seems you are getting some rather old news articles instead of the much more updated version. It also looks like the UI is different as it isn't displaying the nodes for the slideshow. I tried changing my language settings to Russian to see if I could reproduce the problem, but I have yet to be able to. I'll have the team take a look and we will keep an eye out for this. A thing you can try to do to fix this would be to delete the file that sets the news. This will cause the game to check for updates on the news, but it can take up to an hour for the update to occur. If you'd like, you can delete the NewsArchive.xml file to trigger this. I'll leave the directory that my files are in as a reference. C:\Users\schin\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity II Thanks again for the help Phenomenum!
  4. Hello Tedmann, I'm sorry to hear Deadfire is not running as smoothly as it once was for you. Have you noticed any changes since the last time you played before the issue occurred? Has the game or any hardware you might have been updated since? Generally updating graphics drivers and the operating system can help to fix such issues, but sometimes the older drivers happen to run better, in which case users will revert back to those. It is also possible that repairing or reinstalling the game can help restore the performance. Please let me know if any of these diagnostic steps help get you running smoothly again. If they don't help, then I'd recommend reproducing the issue and then sending us the output_log.txt file so we can see if there is anything displayed there that can tell us what is going on. if needed, you can find instructions on how to obtain the output_log.txt file here. If you could send that to me at support@obsidian.net along with a link to this thread as a reference, I can have someone take a look and see if there is anything going on in the background. Thank you Tedmann and sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.
  5. Hello GoldenDude! Thank you for letting us know about this issue with immobile characters and the frightened status effect in Turn-Based Mode. Fortunately the team has already created a fix for this which is currently awaiting the next patch release before it is implemented into Deadfire. Keep an eye on the forums for the patch notes. If you notice that this is still occurring after being patched, please let us know so we can take another look at this. Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience this is causing your combat.

  7. Hello Balthazar, I'm sorry about this bug with AoE weapon afflictions. Looking into the report, it looks like the bug has been fixed recently and has been undergoing a Fix Verification phase where they check to make sure the fix is working properly and that it hasn't broken something else. With that in mind, I'd expect to see this released in an upcoming patch. Keep an eye on the patch notes to see when this is implemented into the game Thanks for reaching out and sorry again for the inconvenience this has caused your playthrough.

  10. Hey Jalix, I'm sorry you are getting these launch crashes. My first assumption is that this is the Citrix issue as it has been 100% of the reason people are crashing on launch from Steam. Basically, Citrix (a networking program) updated their network receivers and that has caused issues for folks trying to launch Unity based games on Steam. Other users who reported this issue said it was resolved by rolling back updates, uninstalling Citrix, or doing a fresh install of Citrix. I'll post a link to the most useful forum post about this below: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/108037-crash-directly-when-starting-the-game/ Please let me know if this resolves your issue and if not, we will look into other avenues to get you back into Deadfire. Thank you Jalix, and sorry for the trouble these crashes are causing.
