Hello MugBubule, I'm sorry you are getting these crashes. When the game crashes it should generate a folder labeled with the date and contain the crash.dmp, error.log, and the output_log.txt file. If you could get me the most recent folder with those files as well as a save file where this is occurring, I'd love to take a look and see what might be going on here and what we might be able to do to get you adventuring again. If needed, you can find information on how to obtain those files here. If you could send those to me at support@obsidian.net along with a link to this thread as a reference, that would be amazing. Hello Ser Renely, Unfortunately we haven't been able to solve this issue yet. In the meantime I've been creating saves for users JUST after the axe hits the ground so that they can continue the combat without running into this. Would you be able to send me your save file so I can get this set up for you? If needed, you can find instructions on where the saves are here. (Another) crash on start-up

Hello Andkyng, I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble getting Deadfire to launch. The most likely reason from what I've seen is a networking program called Citrix. Other users mentioned that their Citrix receivers had updated and prevented them from launching Unity based games from Steam. Upon either rolling back the update to the receivers or uninstalling the program altogether, they have all been able to play their games again. I'd suggest trying this, as it has helped everyone with this issue so far. Hey everyone, Generally speaking there is usually something wrong with the game files where a repair, as suggested, or a reinstall can fix the issue. Hello Ontos, I'm sorry you are running into this back screen issue. I loaded up your save and tried transitioning to the World Map and it seemed to work out fine. I would recommend attempting a repair of the game files or reinstalling Deadfire to see if there are some corrupted or missing files causing this issue. If that doesn't work, then I would try updating your graphics drivers and your computer's operating system. I updated the save where I was on the World Map after clicking the button from the deck of your ship in case you wanted it. I'll leave my Google Drive link here. My main is not levelling up

Hello DJzolla, I'm sorry you are having issues with the leveling system. Usually there would be a + symbol on the character portrait that you can click on to level your characters. You don't happen to be using any mods that may be affecting the game as well would you? If so, I'd try turning them off and seeing if that helps fix it. Hey Diablo, I'm sorry you ran into this issue with Pallegina on your solo run and thank you for reporting it. Would you happen to still have a save where we can see this occur for testing purposes? I'm sorry if you've been running into a bunch of bugs during your playthrough. It is not our intent to have the community find bugs for us, but we do greatly appreciate all the help everyone has done to help make Deadfire better than it would have been without all the reports and feedback. Deadfire is a pretty large game with so many things that change depending on how people play or what choices they make that every extra bit of help makes a huge difference. Thanks again and sorry for the inconveniences the bugs have been causing.

Hello Tlance, I'm sorry you ran into trouble with Tekehu. I didn't see the save attached, but it could be due to the size requirements as they can get rather large. Hey Balthazar! Thank you for the detailed explanation of this issue with Backstab. I put all this information into a report and sent it to the Systems Design team. Hey everyone, It looks like the Systems Design team has fixed this one up and have the fix awaiting a patch to be released. Keep an eye on the patch notes for this to be implemented.
