  1. Hey Y'all! I hope you had a great holiday break and weren't testing this the whole time! I had sent this thread to our web developer so he could see everything you've been doing and I've gotten confirmation from him that we should have a fix for the line break issue! It is currently on our testing server and awaiting a push Live once we approve of all the other web changes that he has along with it. I'm hoping we can have the update out sometime tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Hopefully it will fix the issue so you can finally get some peace of mind with this particular issue Thanks again for all the testing and for bearing with us while the issue persisted.
  2. Hey y'all, So based on what I'm reading, this is indeed an issue with the cookie settings our Euro friends have? That definitely helps confirm my suspicions. I'll have our back end developer look into it. Should be a bit easier for him since he is also from Europe Thanks a ton everyone!
  3. For folks actively running into this issue, if you have the time or the desire to check on some things for me, it is highly appreciated, but by no means required. I just have a list of things that I'm trying to get data on to see if there are any common denominators to see if we can find the issue so we can get it fixed I'll likely add some more things in an edit, but for now these are the data points that might help: Location (US or other) (Computer) System Language Web Browser Used How often is the issue currently occurring for you? (Rarely, Intermittently, Often, Always, etc) Have you had the issue in the past and it started working normally again? Are you using Editor options like Quotes, HTML, Bullet Points, links, etc when it occurs? Does this happen on multiple web browsers for you? Of course any extra information you might think is useful is always appreciated. Again, sorry for the trouble this annoying issue has been causing. I'm hoping we can get a fix soon so y'all can enjoy your time here without having to frustratingly copy paste your posts for fear of them auto deleting after starting a new line of text.
  4. Hey @Chaospreadfrom my understanding, people who run into this issue seem to have it on all browsers, but I'd appreciate the check if you want to test it on Edge or FireFox Until we can find a fix for this, it might be best for your lists to manually number or bullet with hyphens. Sorry for the trouble with this
  5. Thanks everyone for all the information you've been providing! @Sarex I'm going to try the things you mentioned (not the sacrifice )next to see if I can get this issue to reproduce for me. As for all of you, is this happening 100% of the time you make posts or only sometimes? Thanks again
  6. Ha, that is a very fair point Humanoid The forums have changed so much over the years that they add new ways to images, then ranks, then moderation status, that they've just piled up over the years. I might look to clean it up a bit
  7. Interesting. We didn't submit any changes to the forums. Why would it start giving you that issue again
  8. So are you telling me the issue just stopped happening? I feel like that happened to someone else prior as well. While confusing, I suppose that does provide a bit more data for the issue. I'm going to keep taking a look at this while I can so it doesn't happen to other people in the future. Thanks for all the help with this posting issue everyone
  9. Hey Fireballs, I appreciate you providing us all this additional data! The forums going down was actually us doing a rather sizable backend update and we have a bit more to do for tomorrow, but sadly I don't think that will fix the issue. There is, however, another Invision forum update (the service we use for these forums) available for us to push Live, but we need to get our database up to date before we can. We should hopefully have all that stuff updated by the end of the week, but I'll still be testing things out in the meantime. If you learn anything else, please don't hesitate to continue letting us know Thanks again Fireballs! -SChin
  10. Thanks you two for the added notes and for submitting that to the Support team If they haven't already, they should be getting back to you soon to get that information into their bug database. Thanks again!
  11. Hey folks! Looks like the line break is working properly now. Still not quite sure what was causing the issue, but it's good to see you were able to post properly. As for the issue with the O.R.C. insects, I was told there are a finite number that spawn in the yard and are gone forever. I mentioned this issue to the Support team and they are interested in getting some data so they can try to get a fix in for this. Would one (or both) of you mind letting them know through our the Contact Us link in the Support tab of the Grounded site? They're hoping to be able to be able to get any information you folks might have that can help them reproduce the issue and get a fix in. If you are playing on PC, a save file would be extremely helpful to them Thanks again for all the help with this spawning issue! -SChin
  12. Hey Elthyx, I'm sorry you're running into this trouble in Grounded and on the Forums. Regarding the issue in Grounded, from what I've been told, there should be a set number of O.R.C. insects that spawn that need to be killed. If you continue to see them spawning in the yard even after killing them, then we may have a bug on our hands for the Grounded team to look into. As for the forum post, we haven't quite figured the issue out yet as we haven't been able to reproduce the issue on our side to be able to get a fix in, but we are still looking into it. I hope to have a fix for that soon. Regarding editing, sorry for the lack of that on new accounts. We had an issue with new accounts being made to look normal that would then be edited to be malicious or spam to get by our spam filter. After making I think five or so posts, the moderators update initiate accounts to member accounts where editing privileges are given. Thank you for reporting both of these issues to us and I hope we can get them resolved soon so you can better enjoy both your Grounded and Forum experiences! -SChin
  13. Hey Gorgon, From what our back-end web developer can see, it seems to be related to how the Invision forums handle the Cookie Manager put in place for the European privacy laws. Fortunately our web developer lives out that way and was able to see that as we cannot on this side of the pond as cookie laws are a bit less strict. He thinks he might be able to get this issue resolved, but it will take him a few days as we have a back-end update we would have to push before being able to get this fixed up. I'll keep you appraised as soon as he is able to provide me with more information when he gets cracking on this. Sorry for the trouble in the meantime
  14. Hey @Gorgon thanks for letting us know! Do you know what was originally there? Like you, I can't see what is there, but I can see other videos posted on the Forums, so I'm wondering what caused that specific content to show an non-interactable cookie message. Thanks!
  15. Hey Chill, That's a fair callout. I think that is a leftover of our old system (where we had multiple ways to log in) as we were converting to our current login system. I put in a request to our web dev to look into making this work off of just 1 click As for Sarex, yea we are still on AWS, though we are just about ready to convert over. This has been something we wanted to switch over to for some time now, but have been a bit busy to get to. We are currently testing out the change away from AWS for our login system, the websites, and forums on our testing server and hopefully will have that all pushed live soon Thanks for letting us know your thoughts on the forums!
  16. Hey everyone, Thank you all for reporting this to us! We have been receiving a TON of reports about this, and as such, the team has been investigating and think they have a fix. It's expected that this fix will be coming in a hotfix patch soon to help get you all back on track. Sorry for all the trouble this is causing as I'm sure it's much more difficult out in the back yard without those arrows and traps. Thanks again for all your help everyone!
  17. Hey Chilloutman, Sorry for any weirdness with the ranking system. Invision, the folks whose system we use to run our forums had a major update that we applied a couple months ago that got rid of the ranking system from the thread page, but left them on the profile pages of each forum member. Last I had heard, there wasn't a way we could get them back to the threads again due to the changes Invision made, but I can check with our web developers to make sure that is still the case. From what I can tell you're 8 points from Arch-Mage! Well done Thanks for letting us know about this!
  18. Should be all fixed now Thanks again @ShadySands!
  19. Hey ShadySands, I'm definitely seeing that, so thank you for letting us know! I'll let our web developer know so he can look into what happened to the images and get them back up Thanks for all the help!
  20. Hey everyone, I'm sorry you are still running into this issue. Unfortunately I'm not expecting any patches to fix this as the team has moved on to other projects, but if you send me a copy of your save file to support@obsidian.net and let me know of the issue there, I should be able to at least fix your positioning in the game so you can continue your playthrough. I hope this helps and sorry for the longstanding issue.
  21. Hello and sorry for the trouble you are having with Pillars of Eternity on the Xbox. I see that you reached out to our support site which is the best place if you run into any troubles. Last I can see in the email thread, our support specialist was hoping to get some more information about the issue from you if you are still running into the loading issue. If not, no worries! Thanks @Amentepfor helping them reach out to us at support
  22. Hello Wax, There should already be a Font Scaling slider labeled as "Text Size" implemented into the game that the programmers added after release. This should be in the game settings in the UI tab at the top of the screen. The first option in this menu should be the "Text Size" slider that should allow you to adjust the font. If you are not finding this slider for some reason, I would double check to make sure you have the latest version of the game installed as this feature was added in an update and will not be on the disc version of the game without getting updates. If your version of The Outer Worlds is updated and is still not giving you this option, please let our friends at Private Division Support know so they can start looking into this issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention Wax!
  23. Hello Danjo, I'm sorry you're running into this issue while trying to start your adventure. I downloaded your files and tested it out on my end and everything seemed to be working OK. There were a bunch of errors that I noticed in the output_log.txt file, so I sent that and some of the others to one of the programmers who worked on Deadfire to see if they can find what the cause might be. In the meantime, I traveled to Port Maje and created an updated save that I was wondering if you'd be able to try out. If you could message me at support@obsidian.net, so we can start a thread there, it's easier for us to send files over to you and track the conversation than it is on the forums. Thank you for letting us know this issue was occurring for you and I hope to hear back from you soon -Schin
  24. It looks like there is a setting where the modular widgets were showing up on threads with 3 or more pages by default. There doesn't seem to be an off option, but I was able to increase the page limit to the max of 100 pages, so as long as you all don't post so much to hit that limit, you should only see those widgets on the Home page at this point I hope this helps!
  25. Hey everyone! We increased the post width. Is this better or worse than the narrower size from before? All feedback whether we act on it or not is amazing, so thanks for contributing
