[BUG] Ruasare

Hello Lyrs, We have had several issues with Ruasare in the past, but they should all have been fixed at this point. Would you be able to provide me with your save file where this is occurring so that we can have the QA and Area Design teams investigate the issue? If needed, you can find instructions on where to find your saves here. If you could either attach that save here or send it to me at support@obsidian.net along with your forum user name and a link to this thread as a reference, that would be great! Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. -
Hey everyone! Thank you all for reporting this issue QA has this in the system but the devs were unable to get the fix in for the 3.1.0 patch. We are looking to have a fix out for this very soon which will be even sooner for folks who use the Beta Patch branch. Stay tuned for upcoming patches for the fix! Hello PsychoBlonde, I'm sorry you are having trouble downloading the DLC from Steam. I was able to reproduce the age gate issue, and had our producer send a report to Steam to get this fixed. I was able to work around this by going to the Deadfire base game page and setting my age there, then went back to the DLC pages successfully. If you are still having the problem with getting the DLCs, can you send me a screenshot of the ones you do have from your game list so I can try to whittle down the problem ones? Thanks!

Hey Torm! Nothing wrong with staying hydrated Thanks for getting me the output_log! I've attached it to the bug report and pinged the Programming team so they can investigate the issue. If you get the issue to occur again where the game does not recover, would you then send us the new copy of the output_log again? Thank you for all the help with this Torm!

Hey everyone! Thanks for the heads-up about the missing accuracy on Charge! I put it in a report and sent it to the QA and Systems Design teams for investigation. Hey Inter, I'm sorry you are getting a Scene Transition crash. Would you be able to email me the contents of the crash folder that is generated during a crash. If needed, you can find instructions on where those are located here. If you could email them to me at support@obsidian.net along with a save file, your forum user name, and a link to this thread as a reference, that would be great. We have a patch coming out this week that is meant to fix a bunch of these Scene Transition crashes, but I want to have someone in Programming take a look at your crash logs just in case it is something different. if you want to try the fix that is already in the Beta Patch branch, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Hey everyone, The fix for affected GOG users is in the 3.1.0 patch. The patch is currently on the Beta Patch branch if you wanted to get back to the updated content. Otherwise, the patch will be going onto the Default branch later this week. If you update to the 3.1.0 build and this is still giving you an issue, please let us know and send the save to support@obsidian.net so we can look into your specific issues further. Missing Affinity Levels

Hey Karf, So the QA and Programming teams finished testing and they weren't able to get this to reproduce on any of their own or on any new playthroughs. They did this in the 3.0.2 and 3.1.0 versions to make sure it wasn't still happening. For some reason it only seems to be your save file and it does look like it's blocking gaining any more reputation as you need 10 points of reputation to get the next stage and it seems to be stopping at 9 for some reason. I'm curious if a new game in the 3.1.0 patch would work for you, but redoing all that you've done for that character might take a few hours. In short, it's possible this is fixed, but won't work on the current character or that there is something wrong with your version of Deadfire in general in which case it may be worth Verifying the Integrity of the game files or reinstalling to be sure. UPDATE: v3.1.0 is now available on the Beta Branch

Hey Andrea, We actually have it in the database to potentially make them usable together. This is something that is being considered and has to go through an approval process before any decisions are made on it. This fix was just to get the system straightened out and then to potentially get those modes working in tandem. I hope this helps at least answer why we fixed that bug. Thanks for your opinion about the Blessing and Challenges system! You are definitely not alone on this -

Hello Archaven, There has been a bug where players are not being given the option to turn in Kua's head to Ruasare. This fix is in the v3.1.0 build which is currently in the Beta Patch branch and is expected to be implemented into the Default branch later this week. If for some reason this doesn't fix the scenario you are in, please let us know so we can look into the issue again. Can someone comment on the spellshaping?

Hey everyone! Just to clarify; Making the AoE larger with spell shaping reduces the power level of the spell by 5, not by 1. Making the AoE smaller increases the power level by 1. Hope that helps!
