  1. I added three more builds. Two that got missed and a new one from today. Please notify me if I missed your build and you want it to be in the list!
  2. Yes. It makes you immune to all fire damage and even turns 10% of it into healing. You can stand in your own Wall if Flame and nuke yourself with Fireballs for healing while destroying your surroundings. And if you are already keeping a minor injury like Acute Rash or Serious Burn (can be self-inflicted easily) for Rekvu's Fractured Casque in order to use Vaporous Wizardry you could def. equip the Scorched Cloak so you can heal-nuke yourself.
  3. So far it stacks without limit. I mean stats are cpped at 35, so there's a limit. But in theory it would go on forever.
  4. There's also the Woedica Necklace from the BoW dragon (forgot the name). It gives you +1 RES and... +1 MIG(?) for every party member that goes down. The awesomeness is: it also works when summons go down. Hence it's the perfect necklace if you have a summoner in the party.
  5. Vigorous Defense stacks with all buffs that only address a single or two defenses seperately - like Mirrored Image, Wizard's Double and Llengrath's Displaced Image. It doesn't stack with Llengrath's Safeguard (the defense buff, the +AR works). Because Llengrath's Safeguard works like Vigorous Defense. Same stacking group as Circle of Defense (Priest). Refreshing Defense will spare you a spell use and can last a long time. So I find this a rather pleasant combo with Wizard's deflection buffs.
  6. I think knownastherat was sarcastic, given how vehemently he opposed the idea that the wizard may be the strongest class in that one thread with the poll about strongest/weakest class.
  7. Maybe with a DLC and the enemies in it. I also doubt that Obsidian will touch the AI of the existing encounters. If they do even better!
  8. It does state a physical copy is in there. During the campaign this was changed or clarified, though: It sounds like at some point after this they decided to not go the steam installer disc and just activation code. Hi Merany! Sorry for the confusion about the wording of the Physical Box Tier. We're going to get that corrected. What it should say is that you will not get an additional digital key. When the game launches, you will also receive an email with the same digital key that will be in the physical box. So you won't have to wait until your package arrives to start playing. As AndreaColombo has pointed out, maintaining patches for dvd backers was a real struggle for us. In the past, we were not able to release a installer patch in a timely manner and it would cause a disconnect between physical and digital users. The reason why the disc comes with a Steam installer is that our primary focus now is to get future content, features, and bug fixes to all users in a timely manner. I'm thinking that maybe they never got the wording on the Fig site altered to pass this clarification on, I guess. Most likely a backer who opted for physical box never read this. Maybe she/he didn't even get an email with this. I for example never got a single backer-email after the backer confirmation. As I already said: I couldn't care less for a physical edition, but the communication was rather poorly done and I can understand why people are angry. I won't call it a rip-off though. I don't think they messed up intentionally.
  9. Berath and Magran are really good damage dealers. But as you said: they need higher levels. Usually with Pillar of Flames things start to get interesting in terms of AoE damage. Livegivers are the better healers than Priests. Although a priest of Eothas with Xoti's Lantern, the Warmth Ring, The godlike amulet and those sandals is a very good healer as well. Lots of bonus Power Levels...
  10. If it works like that now it got changed. Usually you could target an area on the ground and not a single corpse - and every corpse in that AoE did explode (and unlike PoE, got consumed).
  11. Dude for the third time: it is not bugged! It works as intended but that's just too powerful. The Red Hand on the other hand is bugged. That the damage bonus works with all weapons and when handig the arquebus around can't be intended. Also the Knockback is bugged. I told you why I think it's not overwhelmingly good. I can't help it if you can't follow. Don't know how "you have to work for it" is defined, but Aloth casts Infuse and then fires an Arterial-Strike Blast at the enemies that surround my tank. End of Story. Things that you would do with any ranged AoE attack. No luring or other stuff involved. Still eleminates 50 % of the enemies around the tank right where they stand (the more the better it works). The disadvantage of the Red Hand is that it's restricted to single target damage. Against single enemies it's great, as I already said, but not so ridiculously good that it needs a nerf besides the bugfixig I guess. Maybe a lower base dmasge instead of reduced range would have been better Balance-weise, but I think it's not gamebreaking how it is. Other weapons simply have a bigger impact. Of course if you use a Scout to build around it with Driving Flight/Damage bonuses, reloading bonuses and whatnot it's going to perform a lot better than if a wizard is using it. But that's not the fault of the weapon. All arquebuses (besides Three Bells Through) do that (with twice the reloading time).
  12. Nice touch with the Wisps. By the way White Worms explodes all corpses even in the non-updated state. Turn off gib in the game options! Gibbed enemies leave no corpse!
  13. Entonia Signet Ring gives you defenses based on how many enemies engaged you, not the other way round. So if you fight against enemies that have no engagement (tigers for example) or you have immunity against engagement you will get 0 bonuses from it. Ring of Overseeing is missing: adds base AoE size and works very well with high INT and Aloth's Armor. You can get two of them and they stack. Darkest Before Dawn is only 1/rest. Heart-Chime Amulet seems to be bugged and always gives Lunar Excellence which is +1 to Power Level - which is pretty decent. Since deflection has increasing returns the Cloak of Greater Deflection is not only a great early game cloak, but great in general as long as you want to tank. Ajamuut's Cloak used to work from stealth only (not invisibility). Don't know if that got fixed yet. Rekvu's Scorched Cloak is missing. If you are injured it turns burn damage into 10% healing (like the ability that Flame Nagas have). I think you missed the Boltcatchers: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Boltcatchers They are pretty good for any melee dps char. Also Rekvu's Stained Grasp is not there. It works similar to the other Rekvu's stuff: immunity to Constitution afflictions when having at least 1 injury. Rakhan Field Boots are missing. They do a 5m-Charge with Full Attack on anybody in between. Usage is 1/encounter they are the strongest boots if tou ask me. The instant potion belt and the scroll summoning belt seem to be missing. That's all I can add from memory.
  14. Another nice weapon for this build would be Watershaper's Focus because Driving Flight, the shocking lash from Lightning Strikes, Tenacious and the massive MIG and INT boost as well as Turning Wheel's burning lash work with the Blast and also Ondra's Wrath. The AoE of Blast gets huge with Duality:INT.
  15. Best subclass for generating wounds is Nalpasca. Best subclass for keeping wounds is Helwalker. You can generate wounds with Dance of Death which gives you +1 wound every 3 secs and also via Mortificaton of the Soul which has no costs and simply trades raw self damage for wounds (doesn't stop Dance of Death). So - plenty of wound generation for a wounds keeper like the Helwalker.
  16. I'm using it right now and don't find it overwhelmingly good. Only against lower level vessels Double Tap is really great. But I often do higher level encounters, so even that doesn't help me too often. It has half the reloading time, which is nice but nothing too powerful. At the same time I can't be bothered to plan my rests based on that annoying damage bonus which is rather low per kill. For a solo run this might be nicer. In a party it isn't worth the hassle. I have Watershaper's Focus + Ondra's Wrath in the party which is used by my Spellblade Aloth - so nothing too fancy - and it does a LOT more damage than the Red Hand. I also have a Nalpasca/Berserker with the Espirs Estoc who triggers Ghost-Blade-Cascades with Torment's Reach and my backstabbing Edér deals tremendous AoE alpha strikes with Oathbreaker's End if he manages to kill a squishy enemy right out of stealth. Those two also feel more powerful than the single-target Red Hand. Against lower level vessels it's truly awesome though. It's also really nice on an Essential Phantom. Since it doesn't need special abilities to be good it works very well on that summon. What I noticed: the Red Hand works with Cleave although Cleaving Stance clearly says "melee weapon". It that the case with all ranged weapons now or is it just the Red Hand?
  17. Golden Gaze (and some other weapon with on-hit chance) are sometimes buggy. When you equip them for the first time they don't proc at all or not properly. Try to unequip, save, reload and reequip. Or also switch weapon sets between Golden Gaze and something else without hitting pause first. As far as I know the behaviour of Blast didn't change. I still get crit-stuns from Rod of Pale Shades and dominates from the soulbound scepter with Blast.
  18. I'll quote again from the fig campaign: It does state a physical copy is in there.
  19. Good idea. But why does a customer have to come up with those?
  20. Yes - and that would need a button to activate. Those are the things that make it less likely to get implemented by mods or developer I think. A passive without UI element might be easier? What about doing a short-lived AoE-tier-1 inspiration when getting hit by an afflicton? 1/encounter? It would remove the afflicton and any other of the same stat on your party members.
