  1. I think Barbarians are also good as a single class. The Shouts can be used as great damage and CC tool with huge AoE for only 1 Rage. Heart of Fury is good. And also Blood Thirst comes a lot earlier which boosts your damage output enormously, especially with a Two Hander. Monks have some really nice abilities at PL 8 and 9. Whispers of the Whind is great - especially if you have PL bonuses. Chanters with Sasha's Singing Scimitar are best as Single Class because they can use Empowered Eld Nary in every fight. Eld Nary with PL bonus is very strong. Also: Dragon summon. And Many Lives Pass By comes so much earlier and is very, very good. Paladins can be great as single class dps/support hybrid in a party with summons because Divine Retribution will give you zeal when a summon in the party goes down. You can use FoD and Inspiring Beacon (for supporting your caster's damage) and so on forever...
  2. Yes, Death Godlikes are pretty good for Priest who pick Salvation of Time + Barring Death's Door. +3 Power Levels for certain nukes is pretty great. Nature Godlike is still ok if you use stuff that scales well with Power Level and if you have means of triggering it that you would use anyways (Infuse and so on). It works from lvl 1 on after all. The rest is pretty bad.
  3. Don't know. Since it's a tooltip it's hard to do something like a a scrollbar or anything interactive. Because you have to keep the mouse hovered over the element that triggered the popup. Maybe the tooltip-window should automatically scroll down slowly after 3 secs or so (if it doesn't fit onto the screen)?
  4. I have no idea. But it seems that Obsidian thinks that bad descriptions of abilities and mechanics are a must-have. I can only imagine that they write lots of the stuff during development - when it's not entirely clear yet how abilities finally work. So they have to be vague. And then later there's simply no time to refine them. That - and with the constant changes to abilities due to balancing it's better to have vague discriptions because then you don't have to update them very often.
  5. The +PEN on elemental spells is quite nice. Especially when combined with Tenacious. Helwalker/Fury might also be a nice combo.
  6. The only thing that got "nerfed" is the +15 ACC from Lion's Sprint that was supposed to go away after the first attack after activation but stayed for the whole duration. I wouldn't call it a nerf but a bugfix. It's still useful to safely land an AoE CC/nuke or something. Dual wielding will be nerfed, that not a barb thing. If you pick the Voulge or the Lance of the Midwood Stag (both good options for a Barb/Fury) and don't use Spiritshift-Autoattacks that much you won't even notice it at all. I'm still playing a Warlock atm (Barb/Wizard) and it's pretty good (especially crazy once you get Blood Thirst of course). I can imagine that Barb/Druid has similar synergies when it comes to nuking. Also as a Warlock your can't use the Voulge or the Lance to that extend (no bonus Power Levels).
  7. Both suggestions I agree with. Especially the "restricted consumables" part. Hm... would make Mage Slayer a more favorable pick maybe.
  8. An older human standing besides a younger orlan obviously...
  9. ROFL... right. Brainfart. Then it's only +6 before shifted and +7 while shifted and back to +3 after shifting.
  10. Sure CW gets triggered by scrolls. It gets triggered from every hit roll that does damage.
  11. I think Barb is a bit wasted on a Fury since the ranged weapons won't work with Carnage. Except if you want to do a build with Deltro's Cage + helm and Lord Darryn's Voulge and go all storms + Carnage and skip Spiritshift. Then I'd use a Berseker because you can shock yourself with your own Storms for Deltro's Helm - but you'd need immunity against MIG afflictions to not stun yourself all the time. Sadly you can't use Effigy's Resentment for immunity - but maybe there's another way. You could take a Coastal Aumaua and simply love with the Daze. You'll have +4 PEN but +2 from Frenzy and +1 from Fury. +1 from Heart of the Storm... Or better: cast some other shocking spell like Dancing Bolts while confused to trigger the lash from the helmet and then get rid of confusion.
  12. If it worls anything like El Nary it should be very good (especially with Empower). But it seems to only attack once in an AoE - not projectiles or jumps which usually work great with Power Level. Speaking of Druid, lvl 9 spells and Power Level: Did anybody check Pollen Patch (keywords Rejuvenation + Plant) with the Spine of Thicket Green? As shifted Lifegiver you get +7 Power Level on Rejuvenation and the staff can give +2 to Rejuvenation and +2 to Plant (and +2 to Restoration as well which malde me thing if a superhealer Liefegiver/Priest would be fun where the Priest part takes over once the spiritshift ends). That would be +11 Power Level! +12 with a Nature Godlike (which would fit so well). +12 Power Level... that is 3 more than the normal max Power Level. Cast it with Empower - what will happen? The staff can also be enchanted to +3 to Beast and +3 to Plant. That alone could lead to a great Druid nuking/healing build. That and of course Deltro's stuff with Lord Darryn's Voulge. Druid get some nice gear.
  13. No, only Strike the Bell. I suspect it has something to do with "two handed attack only" and that maybe the AoE hits don't pass that check.
  14. Quite unfair if Rogue's strikes only apply to single target while Fighter's Mule Kick or Monk's FoA or Stunning Blows still applies to the AoE.
  15. They already did this a while ago, during backer beta. For example you couldn't apply Crippling Strike with Blast. But it got reverted. Now again?
