I only get beta access with my purchase level and I'm not even sure I'll bother unless I get too curious. I want to play early but I don't want to actually test anything and I don't expect a very polished alpha.. or beta... or even release.

That's good because driving was a mess at launch. I'd walk everywhere to avoid driving. Motorbikeles weren't as bad so I would use them occasionally

Cinema and Movie Thread: I like to remember things my own way.

CGI cocaine bear? They couldn't get a real bear hooked on coke for the movie? -0/10 literally unwatchable -
Ukraine war: The surrender hotline for Russian soldiers PS finally heard from my wife's cousin again. He's still kicking though even angrier than usual thanks to all the blackouts and given the chance would beat Putin to death with his bare hands. Those are his words, not mine. I think it'd be better to beat Putin with bear hands... or paws, as it were.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 5

I always forget BG3 exists. Is it still in alpha beta yearly access? I gave it a shot a while back but it did less than nothing for me. -

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 5

I had the same experience but I wonder if part of it is that it was the first game that I ever played that had a lot of these things in them. I wonder if it just all came together at the right time for me. -
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 5

I wanted to explain this further. Good (and possibly evil, I haven't tested it and I only make a few evil choices) actions move you toward neutral on the law/chaos axis as well as the good/evil axis. So if you pick only good options then you'll turn neutral good since it shifts you both neutral and good... and to make that worse is that most lawful options come off as lawful neutral or lawful evil even though they only move you the law/chaos axis. So to remain LG you have to be careful of where you are on the alignment wheel because you may have to avoid good choices and make lawful ones instead to avoid falling to the horribleness of neutral good. Or invest in scrolls of atonement. Or use a mod. -
Was also dealing with an issue like that on Wednesday. I also had some guy reach out to me about a ticket I created a couple weeks ago and ask if I had any updates. I'm like nope, no updates to the ticket that is assigned to you and I've not worked on. I can maybe provide some background info but definitely can't give you an update, dude.

Sorry the pics aren't great but I was eating with barbarians who couldn't let me take a pic before diving in. Almost forgot

Making chitlins, short ribs, polenta, and collard greens. Wife bought rolls and meats and cheese for a charcuterie board. Cousin is bringing drinks and pie and other friends are bringing brussel sprouts and maybe something else. Pics later maybe.

I am. I haven't watched a minute of it, and other than me clicking in this thread, have been able to easily avoid it.

Harris has been plagued by bad press and getting VP assignments that she doesn't want and may hurt her more than help her in the future. No idea what's going on with Mayor Pete but I found something about him off-putting back when he was running for prez. I think Harris' approval is around the same or lower than Biden's but no idea about Buttigieg.

I just love the nickname Rhonda Sanctimonious... but he didn't back away from the culture war stuff either so I don't think the election was a repudiation of that. As far as Biden, I dunno, I never really liked the guy and he seemed not to understand the political realities of the election in which he was running. I think now he gets that the today's Republican party isn't the one he was used to working with and he has progressed on a few issues but I'm concerned about his age, because he doesn't seem as sharp and the fact that he's better outside of the spotlight, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but you also never know what rambling nonsense may fall out of his mouth when he starts speaking. As far as replacements go AOC is never going to be it unless the country changes somewhat drastically, Bernie's year was 2016, dunno about Mayor Pete and Kamala either... hence my complaint about the Dem's bench. I haven't given it a lot of thought, kinda just thinking "out loud."

Prepping for Turkey day. Need to thaw and clean the chitlins which I'll have to prep and cook outside because my wife hates the smell.
