Ugh, UPS. I was so mad at them I don't think I ever said what happened. A package was sent to my old address and they wouldn't deliver it to my new address, which is fine, but they wouldn't even hold it at the warehouse until they attempted delivery 3 times. I'm like are you serious, you're going to try to deliver it twice more after I've told you I don't live there??? I even got the vendor/shipper on the line and they confirmed the mistake but UPS was unswayed. I had to hope nobody actually signed for the package(not like they check IDs) for the next 2 days or our only recourse would be filling a claim on a missing package. I did end up getting the package on Friday when they finally stopped trying to deliver it to the wrong address. At least my wife hated the gift once she found out what it was so it was all totally worth it.

Vodka and gin go decently with ginger ale. Two of my favorites below. Vodka, ginger ale, cranberry Gin, ginger ale, blue Curacao Had a great sangria with ginger ale as well but I don't remember all the ingredients. I'm sure you can find some recipes online.

Got mad and went off on the automated "customer service" for UPS. Wife comes in and tells me to calm down which went about as well as me telling her to calm down, which is to say, not well at all.

I forgot that we also watched A Christmas Story too. I fell asleep during it which is why I didn't come to mind until you guys mentioned.

I'm going to try. All the men like it but none of the women do and everyone comes over to my house for the holidays. We'll definitely watch it but maybe not on Christmas day. I expect that list will quadruple, at least, and some of those movies will even be watched multiple times.

Watched the last Trevor Noah episode. I didn't care that much for him in the beginning but he really grew on me over the years.

Finished my xmas shopping as well Nothing really exciting this year, wife got a new phone and some athleisure wear she'd been asking for and my son got some toys from some show he really likes but we don't let him watch much of. We did get the Kaylon (Roborock is the actual brand) for the house but it never went under the tree so I'm not counting it.

Yep. Unfortunately, I know a lot of people who chug diet soda like it's water because no or very low calories. I've never been able to stomach the taste and/or aftertaste of any artificial sweetener I've ever tried so I don't personally get the addiction but I do see it a lot. I also don't like natural no calorie sweeteners either, so there's that.

I just got a kick out of Sony, king of the exclusives, complaining about MS exclusives. I know it's not 1:1 but I low gut chortled

I don't blame her for going, I've been to Russia myself, I blame her for getting caught with weed in a place where it is illegal. I think it's highly likely she's been allowed to get away with it until she wasn't but that's all part of why you need to mind yourself when you travel.

I'll be honest here, I don't really care all that much about this. I'm glad Griner is free but I think they're all idiots for being idiots abroad, especially in Russia of all places.
