  1. Harris has been plagued by bad press and getting VP assignments that she doesn't want and may hurt her more than help her in the future. No idea what's going on with Mayor Pete but I found something about him off-putting back when he was running for prez. I think Harris' approval is around the same or lower than Biden's but no idea about Buttigieg.
  2. I just love the nickname Rhonda Sanctimonious... but he didn't back away from the culture war stuff either so I don't think the election was a repudiation of that. As far as Biden, I dunno, I never really liked the guy and he seemed not to understand the political realities of the election in which he was running. I think now he gets that the today's Republican party isn't the one he was used to working with and he has progressed on a few issues but I'm concerned about his age, because he doesn't seem as sharp and the fact that he's better outside of the spotlight, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but you also never know what rambling nonsense may fall out of his mouth when he starts speaking. As far as replacements go AOC is never going to be it unless the country changes somewhat drastically, Bernie's year was 2016, dunno about Mayor Pete and Kamala either... hence my complaint about the Dem's bench. I haven't given it a lot of thought, kinda just thinking "out loud."
  3. I still hope that Biden won't run again but the problem with that is that the Dem's bench is looking kinda light.
  4. Ardbeg 10 year Scotch
  5. Prepping for Turkey day. Need to thaw and clean the chitlins which I'll have to prep and cook outside because my wife hates the smell.
  6. I find that I'm constantly running from one end of the map to the other
  7. Lake Placid?
  8. Neal Brennan: Blocks. Wife and I enjoyed it but probably me more than her. If you're a fan of Brennan or liked 3 Mics then you'll probably like this Traumedy.
  9. Power Ranger Jason David Frank
  10. Made some collard greens as a test run for Thanksgibbings because I haven't made it in...
  11. I saw it because my mom liked Paul Newman and it was available for rent at our local video store. I think I saw the Aviator because the girl I was dating at the time wanted to rent it. None were my choice though I do like Paul Newman.
  12. Mechanically, the Lich is great but there were just some story things that I took some issue with.
  13. Game is making my degenerate metagaming tendencies itch I went Basel, Hedonist, Law, Occult, and Orator
  14. I've seen The Color of Money and The Aviator. I liked the former more than the latter by a decent margin
  15. I've only seen a few of those movies But I don't like crime/cop/gangster stuff
  16. It's the card mechanic that makes it a hard pass for me. I was into it before that.
  17. Different but not necessarily better, he willing embraced Trumpism and hyped the various GOP fears to get ahead. He's not as spineless as Reek, I mean Ted Cruz, but maybe he just hasn't had the chance to show his ass yet.. or it hasn't been as publicized.
  18. I know that many of my family and friends who are never Trumpers would love the chance to finally vote R again
  19. While I hope Trump would run 3rd party if he doesn't get the nomination, I fear that the Democrats won't show up (especially to contend with vote suppression efforts) if they aren't up against Trump. I don't have anything to base that on other than their general apathy.
  20. I look forward to him and Rhonda Sanctimonious going at it. Don't kink shame me.
  21. I don't really care what Musk does with his new MySpace purchase. I feel bad for all most of the people that lost their jobs but I highly doubt the company will ever be worth anywhere near what he paid for it. Only time will tell if he's making the right moves.
  22. In AZ this week so eating Sonoran Mexican food and some occasional soul food. Had chitlins two ways for dinner the other night, regular and battered and fried.
  23. Not sure about the batteries just yet because the performance doesn't seem like it's worth the cost But now that my wife also wants to go electric with her next car and our energy company is raising prices and implementing a time of use system it's making me want to jump to solar before some rebates and credits expire
