So my second maingoal with my solo Potd paladin just failed miserably. On the first page of this thread somebody posted a fight vs the sky dragon and got flamed because he used summons and consumables. While my main goal was always soloing Adra without petrify or paralyze, the second one was to not use figurines or consumables on sky. Turned out that by maxing Ref def and kinda ignoring will and fort I made a big mistake since sky dragon has a stun attack that directly targets fort, while I'm stunned I get hit in melee and go prone. Only way around it is to use the anti stun/prone shield and using maelstrom scrolls, which I can use since I have Lore 10 for Adra but it defeats my goal. I'm thinking about rerolling once again, but not sure since I wanted to play 1.05 wiz. :s

You need high mechanics, 10 worked for me.

What planet do you live on? This patch has essentially rendered the game unplayable due to massive nerfs. Where I live cheese don't grow on trees.

As to binding I found out sadly you have to have the item not only equipped when you rest, but also if its a shield or weapon the set has to be selected. If you still have no fresh uses after rest quit your game completely and reload the autosave before resting. As to striking I know only about shod in faith boots they trigger only on crits.

Killed the fampyr lord in Od Nua without even using any consumables other than beefloaf. Fireball spam by the enemies actually helps the high reflex pala. :d

I hate VO, since I read way faster than dialogue is spoken.

According tohttp://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Caed_Nua you can hire them for your stronghold? How is that possible? Can you get resting bonuses from them? Will they attack foes which attack my stronghold and get killed?

Any chance there will be something like SCS mod for PoE?

Frenzy is pretty good and there are other retal items... also retal dmg got nerfed anyway which is a good thing since it was too good.

It gets better from level 5, but also is influenced by move speed.

Undead Radric is a joke with pala. I didn't use any consumables except beefloaf and no figurines. I only rested in Gilded Vale, no whore bonus. I rareöy got hit by charm because I had 160 def vs. 90 attack. If i got hit it lasted for 1(!) second because of the level 9 ability. I didn't get under 75 % endurance. Only thing that hit me reliably was combusting wounds and Raedrics aura, which seems like it can't be dodged anyway since there is no roll in the log.

As soon as he was alone it seldomly grazed and missed extremely often and that was with level 10. Have to admit that fight is not much easier than sky dragon and you don't even have a superb weapon yet.

Now I know why I enjoy pala more, than I did my cipher, he just doesn't get hit by weak enemies like Cail.^^
