Oh stop with insulting bovine fecal matter. You got issues. I wasn't insulting anyone. Now for you that's an entirely different story. You damned well were. You said that anyone who doesn't use more casters is lazy. That's pretty damned insulting in my book. So stop it. Stop insulting people. You ever heard of people referring to themselves as “you“? It's normal english grammar.

That's stupid if you wanna cheese at the door, go there immediately...

"Powerful" in the sense that it can be used to dispose trash mobs, sure. But that's true for most player abilities in this game, since even on higher difficulties most trash mobs aren't very tough (and their AI not smart at all). If you look at the relative effectiveness of Cipher powers compared to other classes' abilities though, you'll see that for example the Cipher's Mind Blades (level 2) is weaker in pretty much every way compared to the Druid's Dancing Bolts (level 1). At level 9, the Druid can spam Dancing Bolts four times per encounter, which is more than you need for most trash mob battles - and he can cast them without having to regenerate focus in-between. Thus the Druid pretty much steals the Cipher's frequently invoked "being able to spam AOEs non-stop without resting" selling point. And at the same time, the Druid still has that large selection of situationally-useful powerful higher-level spells which make him much better than the Cipher at boss fights. Apart from most people not using MB anymore you definitely won't use it at level 9

Btw Monk is one of the classes who can kill Raedric level 4, with using chokepoint. Without choke point, just have a pala gulp potions of mirror i guess.

With Aloth I killed Raedric just a few days ago (party) spammed Ghost Blades. Do you follow the normal (cheesy) way of doibg this fight, where you place your party behind the door, aggro a paladin ranged and then hide your squishies behind two melees who block said door? Because if you make him aggressive via dialogue and stand in the middle, maybe leveling up is better. When I soloed this game first time (beat it with a cipher) I waited till level 7 and wiped the floor with Raedric without door cheese.

You don't have a wiz or a cipher? If I don't solo I always bring a cipher and antipathetic field the crap out of raedrics friends in the doorway. :D But thats just me being cheesy. If you did Maerwald you got acces to defiance bay and indefinite options, get thew def +10 ring from copperlane market, also get the spider figurines from the quest with the boy and his knife (also free xp), get the shades figurine out of the vailan embassy and here you go, cheese that fight with any solo char, much more with a party, no matter your strategy, even if it's auto attack.

The goal is to experience as much of the game as you can in a blind play through. If you die in Trial of Iron, your second attempt will not be blind up to the point you died. This means up to that point you may change your tactics and approach. Once you reach the point where you were defeated, the rest of the game becomes blind again. The ultimate glory comes from beating a game blind on your first attempt in any type of Ironman, Trial of Iron mode. We've done this many times in our twitch channel - http://www.twitch.tv/luzarius Ideally, you want your first playthrough to be blind 100% of the way through, however the nature of this game encourages you to try new builds. This may come as a surprise, but I have not reached Defiance Bay yet out of all the times I've played. Do you know why? If I beat this game too quickly, I'm not going to have anything else to play afterwards. Epic games like this are rare sadly What do you think of Concelhauts parasitic staff? I've been using it on Aloth and I think it's actually better than Chill Fog. The staff is incredibly powerful. You are doing "guides" for this game and you haven't reached DEFIANCE BAY yet? :D:D:D Players who do POTD, TOI, blind will understand my logic. Those who beat the game could easily point out flaws in the build to disprove the effectiveness of the build. The question is, which are you? After a minute or so, you will feel the sting. Apart from that your build isn't that good, my initial post did NOT even touch that subject. The only sting I feel from reading your replies is to have wasted my time trolling you in the first place, since you don't even understand what I'm saying, so busy are you with your own trolling.

All spells/strategies he listed work just as well (better) with a full party setup .. I know. But why obsess so much about beating the game solo on Potd ? That's a very limited way to play the game. It's like playing Nuclear Throne and only ever using the starting Revolver. As long as the difficulty don't force you to play a party, party play is just for lols. Also you learn a lot from solo, so party play becomes even more lol. ;p

You don't need the stalls and you don't need 400 hours playtime, lol. He seems to start appearing from . 30 prestige up. I got Hiros on my solo pala run as about the fifth item Azurro sold, my prestige was 56 by then. I also bought every item he offered to make sure he doesn't offer another one twice.
