I'm just using Serafens blunderbuss in mainhand and yeah launching infinite fireballs is a bit much for Unity engine. It depends what type of game you are playing, in stuff like the ultimate or permadeath solo potd runs in general even with cheese things can go wrong and you ahve to get to Scordeo's first. In a party run there is just no need to spoil your fun with exploits, just having a cipher and priest in party will have the same effect.

If you're using SoF this is relatively easy (haven't actually played it with your exact combo so couldn't say it is "easy" per se): Just take the SoF abuse to the next step and get infinite accuraccy from Scordeos (well 250ish is enough in most cases, 300 if you really wanna overdo it) by weapon switching after getting 20 adaptive stacks, sof quicksave reload, rinse and repeat. For dealing with Vela you can do the same thing in most fights, belt of Magran's chosen equipped, attack her with a blunderbuss (out of combat), this will eventually spawn a fire blight, which will scare her, now you charm the blight and send a summon in to aggro the actual enemies offscreen, Vela will be scared outside of enemies LoS and you can safely go in.

I haven't played BPM and you didn't add me, but in the base game you only "need" grimoire abuse for the ultimate and vela (in fact you don't even need it but it makes it so much easier). However the main thing you'd play off in the base game would be draining wall + bdd pots, so i supoose that got nerfed in BPM. (using concelhaut's draining missiles on your own summoned tentacles is a good way to sustain sacrifice too, however you have to be ver< mindful of the way sacrifice replenishes levels)

Great positioning and the unstealthing trick @Boeroermentioned are incredibly effective early game. Late Game you get the additional option of using Mindweb (if you have a cipher) and turning your entire party into the tank. Back in the day I did a trio run (pala, GM, Kana) and I could even senselessly respec Kana and GM making them as offensive as possible for no other reason than having mindweb defenses on them anyway.

Congrats on the win (another old fart from Germany here, lol). If you ever feel like you really wanna do this on Potd, the simplest non resonance approach is to have a character dual wield a battle axe with Scordeo's Edge, the latter upgraded with Blade cascade and Adaptive, have battle axe modal Bleeding Cut on. If you want the fight to be real fast (might be similar or even more cheesy than resonance tho) you can have a cipher casting Ancestor's Memory on a priest, who can then spam Salvation of time on himself and the char with Scordeo's.

Good question. I feel like they should count, since it says alliance flipped. I also seem to remember confusing my char so i can charm vela (she counts as friendly only) and relatively sure it worked in making her allied. (not 100 tho, it's been a while) The main problem with having to charm enemies, besides slight tedium, there simply isn't always enough enemies. That being said since this works quite well with Chanter/Monk, you'll at least always have an Aoe Charm and i guess technically you could confuse yourself with Rakhan Boots and Sweeper, then you could even charm your summons. (can only guarantee one charm before a fight tho, since it's only 15% chance, but at least out of combat it keeps recharging the boots :P)

Keep in mind the loop only procs with WotW, when theres more than one enemy to hit. Note how at the start i wotwed in just to cover distance and proc invis, it only got a couple hits and stopped, then a basic attack instakilled hauani, and as soon as there was two of them wotw started working "properly". There might be other conditionals like this for other abilities like FoD.

Yeah unity kept bugging and needing reinstallation back in the day, so eventually I just uninstalled it. I also have this "gaming app" from my pc brand which clears the ram whenever i start up any game, for deadfire it usually clears between 800 mb and sometimes even 4 gig, so the ram is almost exclusively used for whatever game I'm running. I'm also running the game borderless windowed with the borderless gaming app, which reduces performance demands for most games.
