Worst possible party.
Even though I don't really understand the intentions behind the thread: Low CON high might monk is not as bad as you think it is, especially in a party. But here's the prolem with this thread, if you play characters correctly any party will be able to go through PotD, if you don't, what's the sense in playing? I think the most important thing about a "bad" party would be to use somebody as tank who is not tanky and build everyone else as a ranger. If you use a low con wizard who gets the best tank items, but doesn't use spells, the rest of your party will die quickly afterwards, same goes for all spellcasters.

Adra dragon breath attack vs reflex, fortituds or deflection?
Reflex. Fear will, yes, knockdown fort.

Party Sugestion
That's because pallys defense is supreme. Also against 3 single foes per rest you get increased accuracy and damage, generally not THAT useful but perfect for single strong foes like dragons.

Party Sugestion
Fighter is definitely better suited for dps than paladin.

Completed Triple Crown Solo on Monk
I honestly think killing Readric is harder in spite of the door cheese. I also never used Fan of flames against Kolsc, but if you wanna be absolutely certain to kill him, sure take it. There is like 10 scrolls before Caed Nua, so you have some leeway.

Can't decide which class to paly :-/
It would be nice if torment's reach could be toggled on so you don't have to keep using it. What I like to do is pick heroes from popular movies, then see if I can re-create them to a certain degree in game. Suprisingly POE gives you A LOT of customization to do this which is impressive. You can make a Samwise style fighter Orlan if you wanted Too bad there is no frying pan crush weapon in game You can assign it to ctrl though, which makes the monk a lot less of a hassle.

Well you have to switch targets every now and then, don't know, whether that is much of micro but, yeah....

Yeah, I don't think offhand will stay that good for monk forever, it seems broken, but while it still is possible, why not use it? Funwise I think you have the most fun in a monk if you solo the early levels, don't know about later tho, never played monk till level 3, in 1 and 2 he's op, but he never gets anything beyond torment's reach, no really high saves and his good accuracy on mostly single target attacks will only get him so far... In a party monk is probably awesome all the way through to Thaos if you have high fort saves the statues can probably soloed by him and the rest of the party can concentrate on Thaos.

Depends on your strategy I guess, I never micromanage rogues, other people afflict targets for them.

Position yourself next to the mage, kill him first. Call Animat on the archer or priest.

Why are the wizard and priest totally useless in this game
Oh stop with insulting bovine fecal matter. You got issues. I wasn't insulting anyone. Now for you that's an entirely different story. You damned well were. You said that anyone who doesn't use more casters is lazy. That's pretty damned insulting in my book. So stop it. Stop insulting people. You ever heard of people referring to themselves as “you“? It's normal english grammar. Hardly. In the real world, proper english grammar is to refer to yourself as "I" or "me". Let me guess, you are not a native?
