  1. Call it what you want then, but right now the game is too easy on the higher difficulties and some classes are ridiculously better than others, and these things should be addressed because they ultimately limit the fun that is to be had with the game.
  2. I think I would like to see some penalty for empower instead of a limited use per encounter. I'm thinking of something like an 'exhausted' injury, which stacks and will kill you if you use empower too often. This should of course be dependent on your (power) level, so you can maybe use empower once per encounter at a low level and up to three or four times at high level, but also weaken yourself a lot. This would make empower a sort of all or nothing choice to turn battles at a crucial point - land the final devastating blow on the biggest baddest enemy and destroy him, or go down because you have worn yourself out too early. Possible penalties of this exhausted injury might be reduced maximum health (going to -100%) and penalties on all attributes.
  3. iirc, you have to be there on a 16th (? not absolutely sure) of a month at a specific time of day.
  4. All (?) unique weapons and armor have a sort of upgrade tree available, but the game completely fails at making this clear by just listing the possible enchantments as bullet points. It's an upgrade tree because there are often mutually exclusive branches, so you choose one enchantment and lose the other one and unlock a new one, but without prior knowledge of this fact. Quality is always a branch of its own, so you can upgrade every unique item to legendary (if you have the resources) without losing any of the other enchantment slots.
  5. Using her as Scout as well. Right now with a superb Arquebus, because I have nothing more special at hand.
  6. For me symbols of death was immediately completed while I spoke with Furrante, since I also had completed Eulogy for the dead prior to getting that quest. Maybe important: I spoke to Yseyr and even managed to take his part of the eulogy without a fight (- before I decided to kill him anyway).
  7. So, I'm now easily reaching 2.6 or 2.4s recovery with WoteP, and I have not even found the Falcon helmet. Pale hide armor bonus at night + Frenzy + stacking bonus of WoteP.
  8. I... I think I may have sunk the BIB flagship by accident... I was only level 12 and steering a puny Voyager...
  9. PoE1 also wasn't close to a 50h critical path though. I struggle to think of any cRPGs having a campaign that long.
  10. I'd say it's one of the few things where balance is not broken. Find enemies with exceptional and superb gear: done.
  11. Isn't that the default for Ascendant? It should go away when you max out your focus.
  12. Nah, don't squander all the good stuff when morale is already high. Whenever we brought down another pirate, it's hardtack and water!
  13. For me Xoti's character screen never shows anything else but 0s for the relationships to all the other companions, even Eder. This can't be right.
  14. Armor rating in item description is not correctly applied when equipping. Also when raising the quality through enchantments, the armor rating when equipping remains at the base stat of padded armor.
  15. I have to say, ship combat is growing on me after a few tries. I up(/side)graded to a Voyager for best exploration speed, and the faster speed and the forward facing cannons reduce the combat rounds quite a bit (since I always go for boarding).
  16. You know, on the other hand it finally makes sense to even have the possibility of swapping Grimoires - something I never ever did in PoE.
  17. The pirates were not hostile for me, I could leave without a fight. But I also had the quest 'food for thought' pointing me to Mad Morena in the cove.
  18. I also loved the endless paths and hoped for something similar with Fulvano's Voyage.
  19. I'm now using Modwyr on my Berserker/Soulblade to activate Frenzy, then switch to WEP* for a larger and less friendly firey aoe cone. *whispers of the endless paths
  20. It also gives you immunity to intelligence afflictions. No more confusion for Berserkers...
