Happy(?) 1 year anniversary, or.. something? That chinese plan is kinda reasonable, can't argue against it, however we all know it's pretty much just fantasy. There are also points that you simply can't avoid - for example let's take point 10 "Stopping unilateral sanctions" and 11 "Keeping industrial and supply chains stable".. yeah, I agree, but if Russia attacks and will not back down, and keeps going against points 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11... then what else are we supposed to do? Bent over, saying, oh well, not much we can do here? Sanctions are probably the best way to force an end, since the alternative would be to send soldiers. Now *that* would be an escalation that really nobody wants.3 points

And first Leopard 2s just arrived in Ukraine, just in time for the 1st “anniversary”. https://www.dw.com/en/poland-delivers-first-leopard-tanks-to-ukraine/a-64809432 Edit: and 2 more Billion by USA, mainly focused on UAVs and HIMARS.2 points

Financial Times has published a new article about the beginning of war. And how big blunder it was for Putin. Unfortunately it is behind a paywall, but I have found up some shortened version of the article on Ukrainskaya Pravda. But I do not know, if there is sum of everything, or something is missing. FT link: https://www.ft.com/content/80002564-33e8-48fb-b734-44810afb7a49 UP link: https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/23/7390670/ "Stalin was a villain, but a good manager, because he couldn’t be lied to. But nobody can tell Putin the truth," says one. "People who don't trust anyone start trusting a very small number of people who lie to them."2 points

In my opinion a fast 2H-Build needs Barbarian and due to Carnage you have build-in AoE Damage. Personally, I find Berserker a bit too difficult for beginners (my main problem is that the Health Pool is hidden - although there are still other health indicators). However, combined with a Fighter (and Constant Recovery) I think it's fairly manageble. Fighter has even more AoE Damage potential due to Mob Stance and Clear Out and provides even more speed bonus that stacks with Barbarian Speed: Mob Stance and Armored Grace! So my personal recommendation would be Furyshaper or Berserker + Devoted. If you go for Furyshaper + Monk you need some more Crit Potential: One option would be to make sure a party member has Morningstar+Modal running such that enemy Fortitude is lowered to benefit from the Brute Force passive! Apparently it wasn't mentioned before: You should seriously consider to install the Community Patch (!) and Elric's Balance Polishing Mod even if this is your first run. EDIT: Oh, I see that you already mentioned Fighter! For Fighter/Barbarian I would try to raise INT(!)/DEX/PER/CON, keep MIG at 10 and lower DEF (maybe not too much otherwise neg. effects run too long).1 point

Unfortunately, the main goal of this as I see it, is to overshadow the Ukrainian 10 point peace proposal in the eyes of many partially supporting or neutral countries, to start more pressure on UA to negotiate and probably cease some territories. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/12/28/what-is-zelenskyys-10-point-peace-plan1 point

If you look at the history of pizza, there were things that were called that in Italy and had nothing to do with what we know as pizza today. Some types of pizza were sweet pies or pancakes. What we call pizza today was the street food of Naples' workers, a kind of open top sandwich to eat on the go.1 point

Royal Blue in general is a great choice because it simultaneously leaves both fans of light and dark themes dissatisfied.1 point

I'm pretty sure they do (- 30% recovery). Granted that they also get an armor malus. They don't get the - 15% recovery talent, but their first offemsive talent grants them +15% damages on top of +2 Pen which is pretty much an equivalent of 2 hander talent. Yes, apart Nimble. An attack speed bonus could fit in the bonded fury new premium package Then you have won anyway. The same apply to any melee build. Yes, no denying that Ancient Weapons are among the strongest abilities in vanilla. BPM made other chanter summons closer. I won't pretend pet is on this level, but not having to summon it is great. BPM slighly reduced this by limiting them to 3x per cast. I won't dare comparing pet with chanter summon indeed. Not sure anything can compare in term of brute force. The fact that it is passive and instantly available is still a nice feat, and I will never discard an extra body. My point was that the Animal companion does compare with actual character passive DPS. Funny thing is that SC Ranger does help with that since at least Circle of Death is foe only.1 point

Latest UN resolution on Russia's invasion, in a year not much has changed. 80% of the countries who voted support Ukraine with 7 countries supporting Russia SA again disappoints with abstaining but good to see most African countries supporting the resolution1 point

Wenduag is the perfect romance for a Lich. Beeg boney spoilers ahoy.1 point

wenduag is responsible for the military council convicts and bandits recommendation... witches and raiders later. am not a fan o' the spider mutant with the inexplicable accent, so those units is rare even an option for us. as for overlooked, gonna admit we didn't have any meaningful notion as to what were the point o' combat morale the first time we completed wotr. the combat morale scores for individual units were hidden until relative recent so boosting it effective were also a bit o' a shot in the dark. HA! Good Fun!1 point

what you experienced is normal, but is likely not normal in the way you experienced. confused? since release, IF you shift alignment because o' mythics, then you do not lose current class ability powhaz and abilities o' alignment restricted classes. however, you would not be able to level up further in those classes. long time ago we mentioned on this board how a few builds taking monk or paladin level dips before eventual becoming azata were possible. as long as you chose those paladin or monk class levels before your third mythic level, then shifting to azata would result in a forced shift to neutral good and you would keep the monk and paladin abilities already acquired, but you would no longer be able to gain additional monk or paladin levels. however, ordinary alignment shifts not caused by a mythic path selection were s'posed punishing you as designed, with loss o' alignment restricted class abilities, but am admitting we never tested this and have seen no comment regarding the issue since late 2021. am suspecting with all the mythic alignment bugs and fails, something got busted along the way and chances are all alignment shifts is treated as if they were mythic shifts. if you are not yet level 20, chances are you need atone before your final level-up if you wanna stay paladin... though is a good excuse to take a final demonslayer level as the paladin cap stone ain't worth the effort. I have arrived in Tales of Arise into Niez - capital of Wind region. And the game gave me another unexpected surprise. I hesitate to write here a little bit more about it, so I would not spoil it for the few people, who are still interested in playing this game, and are avoiding spoilers at all costs, but I am enjoying the game more the more I play it. Also, I have found first Artifact in the game, and Kisara gave me first fishing rod, so I have played little bit with it as well The Hunts for Gigant Zeugles are pretty merciless, and I have burned through most of my consumables, so now, I am trying to save little bit, and avoid them for now. The price of gels in this game is crazy, compared to previous titles, and the money is as hard to earn as in previous Tales of ... games. And I think it was to force some people to buy money DLCs This is my only negative experience with the game. Although, if I would not go against these Hunts, I would not need any extra money for consumables at all, and would be able to sell some of them to earn some extra cash. The sale price of gels is very high as well.1 point

There was no innuendo. The US government really does have a terrible track record when it comes to lying to its citizens. It also has a terrible track record when it comes to horrendous illegal practices involving its citizens. I'm sure you know MK-Ultra, for example.1 point

worth noting how in spite o' the claim in the video, the capacity to auto-resolve crusade battle were already in the game before this beta patch and all the patch does is add an additional button in the crusade ui. am assuming if mortismal don't seem to know 'bout the current implementation o' the auto-resolve feature, other players could be unaware. though is possible mortismal is the last wotr fan to be unaware and Gromnir is repeating info everybody else already knows-- if such is the case am apologizing for stating the obvious. to implement the auto-resolve for tactical combats, hit the settings icon (little cog) to the right o' the "skip day" button on the world map ui. doing so reveals three options including the auto resolve o' tactical combats choice. observation: don't be concerned 'bout getting struck with the rng bat or similar as you may opt-out o' auto resolution both before tactical combats begin and after they conclude. as such, if you do not like the outcome o' an auto-resolve battle, you may chose to fight such conflicts manually. am not certain what maths owlcat uses to determine outcomes, but if you got better than numerical parity with foes and a decent number o' hospitals, you ordinarily auto-resolve w/o any losses which results in a minor but noteworthy gameplay time savings. am also gonna observe how the woeful undervalued enemy armies with their mage generals capable o' casting fire or lightning do suffer from this feature as those foes is treated as no more powerful than any other strength six, eight or whatever army you might encounter. use auto-resolve to dispatch the lightning hurling glabrezu near greengates makes the battle pleasantly anticlimactic. Whisper of the Heart (1995). The nieces are home for spring break, and they wanted to see the "prequel" to The Cat Returns. I actually tried to have them watch it once in the past probably like a year ago, but I didn't really expect them to care for it because it's not the silly fantastical adventure that The Cat Returns is, and they kind of lost interest like 20 minutes in. But for some reason, they were in the mood today and unlike last time, it kept their attention the entire duration and they loved it even with some of the sillier awkward teenage stuff that they find embarrassing, so watching it with them was positively magical. Still my favorite movie of all time, I had to hide tears from my nieces at several junctures. (e): Also, oh my gosh this movie is so gorgeous, even my older niece commented a few times on how insane some of the artwork was, which, of course, made me launch into a short spiel about everything being hand-drawn compared to the computer animation of today, which only seemed to break her brain even more. Hurts my soul we'll never see its kind again, but I can be thankful at least it exists.1 point

those ain't tragic enough? well, we can take a shot. molly, after joining starfleet, eventual quits the federation and becomes involved with a group o' cardassian refugee/freedom fighters unironic modeled on the maquis. molly is pregnant with her cardassian lover's child when the federation ship kirayoshi is now serving 'pon encounters a food transport vessel molly's group has hijacked and 'course something goes horrible wrong. kirayoshi fails to successful transport molly off the freighter which blows up killing molly and her unborn child in the process. unfortunately, molly's lover, who had been rescued moments before the supply ship went nuclear, manages to disarm the incompetent starfleet security in the transporter room o' kirayoshi's ship and then goes on a rampage killing numerous starfleet personnel before turning the stolen phaser on herself. kirayoshi o'brien is one o' the victims. end of act 1. act 2 and 3 is even worse. (late edit: am thinking is no way molly's lover could die so ez. since is trek we need drag out ahab's metaphorical corpse once again and have miles hunt molly's lover 'cross the known and unknown galaxy, destroying himself and everybody around him in the process.) HA! Good Fun!0 points

At the end of DS9 O'Brien returns to Earth to teach at Starfleet Academy. In nuTrek he probably died in a school shooting or drank himself to death because he couldn't get over getting Bilby killed or something tragic and obscure.0 points

I made a baby! ...not much purpose to it except cuteness. They don't grow into adults, but give same resources, take up a slot in the vivarium, and you can remove/sell them. Trying to breed the "Shiny" versions but they're random spawns, don't have all. Baby hippograff's are not cute. >.> Edit: the 12 or 16 (I forget, again) limit per vivarium is annoying. They should've allowed 24 at least.0 points

I am around 120 days into my dedicated Grounded save. Starting out the game I slowly realized the insane potential it has to grow. The bugs, the POIs and the mechanics coincide perfectly with each other to create an immersive world and story-line. I am taking my time with the game so I can enjoy every little thing to its max potential but I get disappointed when I realise that the amount of content is quickly coming to an end. It would be nice to get more content updates instead of holiday and QoL updates. This leads me to the main idea of my post... If there were to be a huge update this year it would be awsome to see the following things... I think the Grounded community would agree on this as well. I am no game developper so I am going to try and keep it simple based on my knowledge on the time it takes to make a game like Grounded... Futur Bug Updates 1. Combat mechanics update... I havn't yet played games like Elden Ring or any of the Dark Souls, but I caught an interesting theme in the weapons, armor and combat system. Its all set up like a game of DnD. Some armors are designed for Tank players, others for Support\Range and others for close up damage dealers. This does not matter though because of the parry mechanic. One could essentially beat the entire game if you perfect parry every single attack. So, it would be nice to switch up how bugs attack in order to catch the player off guard. Idea: **ADD MORE ATTACK PATTERNS AND MOVES TO SOME BUGS LIKE THE WOLF SPIDER ** An excellent example of a bug that has a near perfect move set is the Rolly Polly with its roll move and when it rolls up as a shield. An idea that joins everything together (bugs, story, POIs) Now this idea could be almost impossible, but it would probably win the game many prizes and triple the number of concurrent players. Yes, the current map is relatively big, for early to mid game. But, by late game, most players have the most sophisticated zipline system known to mankind. Crossing the map is no longer a problem and it makes it seem small. My base idea is... **Expand the map** There are many ways the game devs could do this. What I am suggesting is connect this backyard to the neighbor's. Make it so an event breaks a hole into the next backyard, but in order to avoid repetition make the other backyard a greenhouse, with a tropical biome. The idea of a bigger tropical biome like the Upper Yard allows the ability to add a bigger variety of bugs and to expand the story. Maybe, Dr.Tully's neigbor is an Ominent Agent and is studying stuff in his greenhouse. As I mentioned, expanding the backyard into a greenhouse would allow a bigger variety of bugs. In a greenhouse it is particularly humid. This could mean that more dew drops appear in the morning, a sprinkler system could cause small flash floods in specific areas. A humid environment allows for more bugs... 1. Vampire Ants\Bullet Ants (google it). They appear having jaws of an ant-lion and no queen. They could be an Ominent experiment released accidentally in the greenhouse. They would deal more damage than a fire ant but have the health of the black ants. Another alternative to this which would prove as a simpler idea to the public are Bullet Ants, they would deal strong poison trickling damage. Items: Ant parts (heads etc..) = Armor that has a thorns effect dealing damage to opponent when the attack Bullet Ant stinger = knife that deals insane poison stacking damage Benefit: No queen for either species so no boss. No boss = less development work 2.Centipede A fast multi legged bug that has similar combos to the Wolf Spider but lives in various dens around the backyard. Health wise it would be like a Rolly Polly but would deal poison damage like a Black Widow. Items: Centipede parts = body segments = centipede armor, tanky armor that has poison resistance Centipede fangs = poison resist smoothie and sword that has life leech and venom damage 3. Dragon Flies First ever mount in Grounded, that is all I have to say. 4.Butterflies Have a healing aura around them. Very rare apparition. 5. Scorpions Wolf spider with different combos, piercing damage + poison damage. 6. Water Scorpions (Google it) They stay at the surface waiting for the player to surface, poison damage. 7. Wasps and Hornets Basically Wasps = Orb Weavers and Hornets = Black Widows or Wolf Spiders Both deal poison and peircing damage, Wasps swarm and Hornets dont but are beefier. Conclusion I could go on forever. If you read this you would get the general concept. Grounded has insane potential. It is very popular with at the time of writing this has around 15 million concurrent players. But, it needs to stand out more. Make it the childhood dream to walk through the grass blades observing a small world where the bugs are the size of a school bus and one must survive and end Ominent's rein.0 points
