    pretty sure I managed to annoy her in both my main playthroughs (the ones I'm planning on continuing) - at different points (WM in one, endgame in another).

    What would be an example of a "mechanical" bonus?

     

    I suppose he means pets will have a mechanical impact and will not simply be an aesthetic complement. I reckon it could be anything from attribute/skill bonuses to activatable abilities and the likes. Just what I understand from that tweet though.

    Sweet! God is in the detail. This will help with immersion - having tons of pets, loot and babies in the backpack was looking pretty silly in POE1.

    Cat pet = +1 Reflex, etc

    New special even in ship2ship combat - a cat is clawing your sails and you can't turn until you take it back down.
