They're not on horses, but I guess they could qualify as smexy men. Ignis has apparently discovered how to make invisible coffee mugs, as well.

Getting the outfits of chrs. from main game in Comrades is expensive. But worth it! Still have to get the bro's tho.

The new Outbreak mode is just amazing. It's the first thing I've played since Left 4 Dead to properly capture that same kind of joy and atmosphere. I hope it's the first of many similar DLC modes because this rocks and is like a game unto itself.

Vermintide 2:

4yeG1Km.jpgWe finally get polearms in this game! The Elf can also now be a High-Elf Handmaiden or a Dark Elf Shade, but would much rather have preferred a Wardancer, speaking of which...

Oga3aWe.jpgThe game calls the two-handed sword the "Wardancer's Blade," which is a bit of an odd choice; Wardancer in the tabletop could only carry either two hand weapons or a spear, though granted one of the models in the kit only carried one hand weapon.

My Witch Hunter alt. He can also be a Bounty Hunter, which in the current meta is a better choice, but I think I'll stick with him as is, because goddamn _hat_.

“Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.”

Quote

"The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete."

So, how bad is it? Truth told, all I've ever seen from this game have been these two or three cutscene fails.

The animations are the least of the games problems. The story is flippant, actively contradicts established lore, and at times honestly feels like its insults your intelligence. They managed to get to Andromeda in a measly 300 years despite FTL speeds previously established as only being usable for short duration, by accelerating slowly. Yeah. That's how they explained way that plot hole.

And we may never surrender, but we'll die horribly, repeatedly, because there are just way too many Skaven. And they are everywhere.

Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).

3 new (to this game) Elder Dragons have appeared.  First up, Kushala Daora:

For an Elder Dragon, Kushy doesn't do particularly much damage, but I still almost failed the mission by running out of time (I had maybe 2 minutes left when I slew the beast).  The problem is the wind constantly staggering you and pushing you back, making it quite difficult to get in for an attack.  This is one monster that would probably be much easier with a ranged weapon, or some wind resistance gear, but parts for that are hard to come by.  Oh well, got the job done anyway.

While I enjoyed the combat, the game felt like it's trying hard to waste my time in every conceivable way.

How sad is it that that statement could be applied to the majority of open world games?  >_<

Ever wonder what those smoke trails that surround your character at times look like from the "outside?" Bullet shaped cone, apparently.

Well... I don't feel like my time is being wasted when the game is repetitive, but also manages to be constantly entertaining - like Mad Max for instance. Or Dying Light for that matter. Edited by Fenixp

Mom and dad told me as a child not to play with fire, but what do they know?  Bah!  Let's just have a looksee inside this volcano.  What could possibly go wrong?

Tried taking a large "SuperResolution" screenshot. Taking it was no problem. Editing it was - PaintShopPro kept saying "out of memory" and I could only select/copy/paste a tiny piece the size of one of their heads. I think I won't try the max 61k x 34k and 28GB size.

Vaal Hazak wound up being by far the easiest of the trifecta of Elder Dragons to defeat.  He could cut your health in half (max and current), which sucks, but was otherwise easy to outmaneuver and pump damage into.  I fainted once, but that was more from my own overconfidence than anything else.  It was a pretty one-sided fight, all in all.
