Heh, so Alex Jones is a performance artist. Not exactly surprising, but funny to hear it from his own lawyer. Sadly I doubt this will affect any of the loons that buy into his shtick.

Alex Jones needs to be an FMV actor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myJA9BcgB6Q

Patriots, Donald Trump fire at New York Times over tweet.

Never change, media.

Aside, is it even possible to get fired from a journalist position? Facts and accuracy are seemingly not required in any capacity. Anything short of insulting the special interest group de jour and the journalist's are bullet proof.

Those "values" tests are amusing in how effective they would be and also how many of the citizenry of those countries lack those values anyway. I guess it looks hard so that sells

They say you shouldn't kick someone when they're down, but what the hell: http://pagesix.com/2017/04/19/hillary-camp-scrambling-to-find-out-who-leaked-embarrassing-info/

The America Conservative has an excerpt from that book on their page. Apparently Clinton was a seriously paranoid individual. She had staffers spy on other staffers. She read other people e-mail. They had a "loyalty" list of congress where they ranked the congress critters from 1-7 on their loyalty to their campaign. She had a strained relationship with the President (that isn't news to anyone) and her whole campaign went out if it's way to ignore the advice coming from Bill Clinton. And it sounds like he was warning them as far back as April 2016 they were in trouble. I might have to give that book a  look. it sounds interesting from the little I read.

Apparently she was quite sophisticated in using email servers to spy on her employees. Then claimed in sworn testimony she had no idea how email servers work.

So France looks like they might be getting that woman as president. Looks like France, USA, Australia are joining Britain in rebellion of current status of changing culture to adjust to culture new immigrants instead of vice versa.

Hopefully more countries join in, I've always thought "when in Rome do as the Romans do" when visiting or moving to new areas.

Also scienctists are marching soon. Dunno, if correct or not. Up to them, can understand the pay cuts, but at same time it's politics. U either jump in the sludge pit with all the bad along with the good, or just stay away or else will end up muddier and ****tier than before. At the same time, Trump trying to cut dead weight in expenses so it's expected so I can see both sides. Knowing our govt, we problemly throwing to much dosh or people aren't allocating it well enough.

Dunno if it's a **** storm because things are being done or if it's because of very bad decisions.

I do wonder how this game would be if the media wasn't obsessed with Trump like a scorned ex trying to cause drama.

Le Pen has no chance of becoming French president, none at all. She may well win the first round but she'll lose to any of the other three main candidates in the run off, and lose by a fair margin.

Compared to Le Pen Trump and Brexit were the deadest of dead certainties, if Le Pen wins then the universe would need rebooting as a critical reality error would have occurred.

There are actually 2 extreme candidates who may cause France to leave the EU

Le Penn is one and the other is Mélenchon who is an outspoken critic of the EU. So there is greater reason for anxiety around this election outcome

BruceVC, do u view the EU as a socialist, capitalist, or communist organization?

Hybrid, primarily  Capitalist driven economy but they have certain socialist laws around how the EU functions

But its an excellent paradigm of a good economic model and example of how you can unite countries under a common economic vision, sure its not perfect but the good outweighs the bad...its  a pity some people dont realize that. Like Le Penn

I know you didn't ask me but it's none of those things. It's a agreement to free trade, travel, and cooperation on matters concerning common interest. It's problem is it's beginning to intrude on the day to day internal governance of the member nations and the Brits have already had enough. Indications are some others may follow.

It has been for some time, slowly at first but now the past maybe 6 years it seems more rapid and in ur face.

Sorry tired, tldr version. Before u came here and adapted to the ways of here just like if u moved to another country, u would learn those language and culture to fit in. Now it's more of instead of adapting to the culture and ways of here, it us that has to adapt and change because they are not used to or like or wanna change culture and mindset. Meaning that the traditions, values, mindset of an established area has to adapt to new comers coming in and just because they are from somewhere else, instead of them adapting, the ones here already have to adapt even if the ways, culture, mindset is opposite or conflict. Making citizens do the work of adapting instead of putting it on the new comers to adapt.

I'm sorry I'm tired. Problemly sounds very old fashion.

I think that it is a common belief that immigrants have always been expected to fit in to the new country, instead of the other way around, but it doesn't hold up to historical scrutiny. In the US we've had a number of massive immigration floods that have fundamentally altered the culture in different areas. Every time there are groups complaining about these foreigners and their new ways. The most ironic is probably the complaints about the Southwest becoming too Hispanic, given the actual history of the areas.

The recent immigration trends from predominantly Muslim countries seems like a drop in the bucket compared to the Irish Catholic and German Lutheran waves of immigration that the US has gone through, or the waves from Asia at the turn of the 20th century.

How could anyone even vote for Le Pen. Just look at her.

I'm glad Emmanuel Macron won, he should be able to beat Le Pen in the next round
