Gamgee
Honestly PoE2 seems more likely. All I could ever hear in that game was god this, god that, stuff a god up my arse, someone ate dog god biscuits. GOD The game. If you can't tell I found it just a little... little.. pretentious. It's definitely out stayed its welcome. I hope for Fallout, but expect PoE2. An entirely new RPG would also be cool. 1 They say hope begins in the dark, but most just flail around in the blackness...searching for their destiny. Agiel
It's a high school dating sim that doesn't actually have romance of any kind, combat randomly switches between turn based and real time, and also has no friendly fire. Welcome to heart break That made my day :D Thanks for that. 1 Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.” -Jonathan Littell <<Les Bienveillantes>> Quote "The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete." -Rod Serling
Nonek
I think the biggest question on my mind when bearding this forum is why everybody is spelling mystery as mystary? 1 Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot! rheingold
Well if "Project Lousiana" is Pillars 2 I'd like to know what then devs have been smoking to come with the weird codename. ShadySands
Project names are based on the order of US states or at least they used to be 1 Free games updated 3/4/
Pidesco
Big project names have indeed been US states since the beginning. The state names are chosen in the order they have joined the union. Apparently smaller projects may use state capital names instead, but I'm not sure about that. The names have no bearing on what the games actually are. So KOTOR2 was Project Delaware, NWN2 was Pennsylvania and Alpha Protocol was Project Georgia, for instance. Quillon
What will happen when they run out of the states? Well of course they'll close the studio; too proud to change the way how they name projects, they won't be able to work efficiently on nameless projects, confusion will be Obs' epitaph.
