What Are You Playing Now?

Recommended Posts

I'm gone for 2 months, and when I come back there's so many posts it would take a year to view em alll on dial-up.

Anyway, I'm playing (ON MY 360, WOOT!) Halo 3, Fable II, and 'Creed 1.

Halo 3 is disappointing. It's basically a souped-up Halo 2. Halo 2 beats it into the dust on single-player (1 360 controller+No Xbox Live= sucky Halo 3, but not 2).

Assassin's Creed is nice. Graphics are amazing, and gameplay is easy enough that you can't get permanently stuck, but hard enough that you have to try, not like Halo 3.

Fable II is awesome with a capital woot. They took one of the best RPGs ever made, and made it better. 'Nuff said.

They hated Halo 3 more.

Anyway, playing NwN 2. The game let me play exactly 4 maps more than last time before bugging out on me. :awesome:

Specifically, the journal/Daeghun doesn't recognise the silver shard in my inventory.

Crysis - well, it's pretty. I wish I could see my FPS in it tho...maybe if I get a newer version of FRAPS it'll work w/Win7-Crysis64. Odd.

Probably won't get far in it...just wanted to see what all the past hoo-ha was about. :(

Dawn of Discovery gives you silly "take a break" messages after you've been playing for 2 and 4 hours. Kind of funny.

The New Historicism Game, featuring Greenblatt and Foucault!

Oh joy.

I'm speechless.

I'm playing some Dragon Age. I didn't really get far since I wanted to try the origin stories. I settled for a mage (probably the most interesting aspects of the DA world are tied to mages, so it seemed like the most interesting choice), the other origins were kind of meh. I'm currently in Redcliff, killing undead hordes. Very enjoyable game overall.

But I also feel the need to reinstall Storm of Zehir. Going to do it later today and build some weird party geared towards teamwork benefits, maybe bump up the difficulty all the way. Fun will be had!

Finished all campaigns in L4D2 on advanced. Im a bit disapointed, valve havent spent as much time designing levels and encounter spots as with the first game. Instead of levels with encounter spots that requires a lot of skill and tactics to get through, it was more of a linear "lets just do a generic level and we'll just randomise enemies along the way". Which makes it less memorable.

..but when we get the original maps for L4D2 it'll be pretty awesome

Is there a story requirement for every prestige class in NwN2? I'm a moon elf, have a base attack bonus of 6, have the feats and a level in wizard but still can't take arcane archer.
No, the only classes that require a story feat are Neverwinter Nine and Shadow Thief.

You sure you meet all the requirements? Your BaB isn't the same as your AB.
