  1. Without individual stealth, or an actual sophisticated spell system? Nop.
  2. You can get away with most things on Normal. Just stay away from ranged combat abilities.
  3. If you're going for cheese, get an Island Aumaua rogue to juggle 3-4 guns. Always fun to see boom-splat-boom-splat-boom-splat.
  4. This is accurate. If you look at combat training manuals from the 16th century, firearms were short-distance weapons, and knights sometimes trained to use pistols in particular at melee range. Big volleys of gunfire can be used at a greater distance against armies, but in a skirmish against individuals, there's not much point.
  5. She suffers from being a vehicle to provide setting information, rather than an actual character.
  6. I'd concur with everyone who tells you to get the original BG1 and BG2. Since they're half the price of EE, you can get both and use Easytutu, a program that allows you to play BG1's content with BG2's somewhat improved version of the engine.
  7. This build was never meant for soloing I said it many times. You could max dex and dumb con and see how its going. If it's not meant for soloing, why wouldn't you just use an actual DPS cipher?
  8. I couldn't bear to haul Hiravias around after he said "feces tube" instead of colon. I just had this moment of, "seriously, writer? You couldn't be bothered to google this? To hell with you."
  9. I'm all for being able to set Pause and Unpause to separate buttons. Makes things smoother.
  10. Do we even know that there's going to be a next Kickstarter?
  11. It's decent insofar as it has ridiculous accuracy and can get a lot of mileage out of DoT, but yeah, it needs buffs.
  12. The weak point of this kind of game is that consequences of your actions are usually seen only in ending slides, not in gameplay. For what it's worth, the town criers in Defiance Bay comment on virtually everything you do.
  13. Because it was that way in the early days of TTRPGs, which is the foundation on which all RPGs were built. Why was it that way in the early days of TTRPGs? Because mostly unintentional racism.
  14. Well, the ability to make a guy's head asplode was the whole point of Scanners, and you don't get Detonate until 9th level, so ...
  15. Amusingly, the word "swashbuckler" comes from young noblemen who would wander around town looking for fights, banging their swords against (swashing) their bucklers. I hope you can appreciate the irony in that.
  16. I generally agree with the last two posters, if only because dumping both Might and Constitution will give you a dismal Fortitude save. Reflex is the only save you can really afford to drop the ball on, since your shield will make up the difference.
  17. The development has generally swayed away from debuffs that make you lose control of your character for an extended period of time, with some exceptions. Confused is probably this game's equivalent of old-school fear.
  18. Generally true, but it bears that Moon Godlike get increased self-healing from Might, and so get a lot more out of Might overall.
  19. It is useful, but not essential, to have two tanks in the party. That said, your animal companion is going to have limited tanking ability, so having somebody to back your bear up is always a good idea.
  20. The membership of the Knights like you! They really do. They think you're - as the kids are saying it these days - "pretty fly for a Dozens guy." That doesn't mean the leadership doesn't view you as a Dozens supporter, though. The issue is that everyone knows you secured them for that particular faction. I mean, they'd probably blame you for more if you had been successful in creating Robocop, but you still killed a bunch of their dudes and took away what they thought was their best shot at the time.
  21. If guns get a misfire system, I want a grappling system exclusive to swords with cruciform guards.
