  1. you ignored the second part of my statement, though. the fact that its okay for you to post in a majority of threads with either a negative remark or a "sarcastic" remark about a game you didnt enjoy even though it has become repetitive, yet according to you its not alright for people to post over and over about how much they like the game. stop trolling various threads with the same tired smart ass comments, then and only then will your critisism of multiple postings be valid. otherwise, its just hypocritical.
  2. yet you dont seem to mind the dozens of different threads where people moan and complain about the game, and also dont mind posting your own negative comments in each thread. kind of hypocritical dontcha think?
  3. you could always install and hope youre one of the ones who cant even load the game. that would solve both dilemnas.
  4. after they agree to become jedi, you have to level them up, i believe, before you can give them powers. if you leveled them up and it still doesnt work, then i have no clue.
  5. the r & e connection, baby!
  6. Yeah maybe I would do that do. Maybe if it will be really good I will buy it afterwards. But if K3 has no Revan/exile, then I'm going to bomb LA. Simply. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> if someone actually did bomb lucasarts, i think you just incriminated yourself. *copies and pastes for future blackmail* "
  7. whos kidding who, id buy it. id just complain about it nonstop until the game was released.
  8. but mario games arent really noted for their depth in writing. fun games? yes. deep and thoughtful games? umm...theres a reason why little children love mario games. mind you i havent played paper mario, so that might have all changed.
  9. doubt it. but i have you by 2 years.
  10. The game hasn't been on the market for a week and you say that it is already too late to release a patch???? Many people haven't yet bought TSL and many others still want to play it again, troublefree this time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you gotta understand that volourn is being volourn. you have to take all his posts with a grain of salt because every single reply is based on him and him alone.
  11. good job, obsidian. and good luck chris avellone. heres hoping you beat paper mario. :D
  12. exactly. what a retarded poll. its like asking: who wants this game to work properly? -yes -no gee, i wonder.
  13. possibly. i guess its just the cynic in me believing well never know what the hell happens with the current storyline and will see a new pc and new story in kotor3.
  14. im surprised youre the first one to post about this on here. shame though. one less rpg developer out there now. come on obsidian, hire some of the talented developers (note i said the talented ones only ) from troika and start work on your third title. "
  15. unfortunately, 3 of the 7 are no longer in print (atleast not by darkhorse) and thus youd have to resort to ebay or another second-source buyer to get the complete set.
  16. kreia was a well written character and probably the best character in the game. great backstory, great dialogue and great voice acting by whoever did her voice overs.
  17. nwn isnt very challenging and the story is a "lite" version of the story you saw in kotor1 (although nwn was created before, kotor did it much better). its a good game though, if youre into mp or the ability to download a crapload of user made modules after youve finished the oc and expansions.
  18. i agree with a lot of things said in that article. without being privy to "behind the scenes" information, the article seems to be spot on with pretty much most of its comments.
  19. But this was also said: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> some interesting stuff in these quotes. however, it appears the chances of "resolution" to kotor2 wont happen if obsidian intends to make it a "large divergence from the first two".
  20. not trying to be condescending or rude or anything, but youve complained (off and on) for the past 13 pages about this game, but still rate it a 8 out of 10? weird, when i complain as much as you have about a game.....whether it be technical problems, story problems, whatever.....i dont end up giving it a good rating. the last game i played that gave me as many problems as this one seems to give you, was bloodlines. id rate it a solid 6 because of how unplayable it was for me. and thats despite the fact i enjoyed the story and characters.
  21. that would be the best hope for me, since thats about how long it will take for me to save up the kind of money needed to buy a new computer capable of playing it. :D
  22. its speculated that kreia was lying about the extremeness of the force bond and that it couldnt actually kill you like she said it could.
  23. but thats what i dont get. people go on and on about the "greatness" of games like fallout and baldurs gate and planescape torment (and they are great), but you dont find out everything there is to know in those games during ONE play through, yet people expect differently with kotor2 and then complain about it? and all i ever had exception to was osiris's insistance that these answers can NOT be found (ie. never answered) when in fact they were, albeit during a different play through. it just seems to me that the kotor series is damned if they do, damned if the dont. if the story is too complex for one play through, people complain about that. if the story is too simple that everything is spoonfed in one play through, people complain its such a childrens game.
  24. come off your martyr attitude. you werent asking questions, you were making a statement that the game was incomplete. had you said "hey, did anyone get attons back story? i was never able to get it" it would have been different. but you made it more of a "attons story was never told! this game is broken!". see the difference between asking a question and making an uninformed statement?
  25. see THIS is what im talking about when i say people whine about something not being explained or included, even though its their own fault for not finding it. ive already told you that his story IS told in the game, but you insist it isnt and then say that its the games fault for this being incomplete. you are a whiner if you insist that something that is CLEARLY in the game is not in the game because you couldnt figure out how to access it.
