Just Finished PC Version-WTH?
NeverwinterKnight replied to Mosaic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
i was referring to his comment about the ravager and about atris (since he was vague about what he wanted to know about atris, im assuming her backstory, which she clearly tells you or you learn through kreia). ravager is mentioned quite a few times, maybe not directly in name, but visas talks about it, and kreia touches upon it as well whenever talking about nihilus. plus mandalore and the mandalorian guard mention it when they first arrive on board and discuss how it was at malachor v. the goto and remote thing isnt really answered, however it is pretty safe to assume that if you choose lightside ending, then the remote wins (ie. activates mass shadow generator and destroys malachor v), if you choose darkside ending then go-to wins (planet remains intact, remote fails to activate mass shadow generator). -
Just Finished PC Version-WTH?

ive beaten the game as both ls and ds, and as both male and female. ive seen and heard every backstory available. having said that, dont get your panties in a bunch. i never said ALL of you are whiners or that ALL of your points had no validity. i was referring SPECIFICALLY to the guy i quoted, since all his questions were atleast touched upon during one point or another, especially his complaining about us never learning about attons backstory, which is completely false. also, you have to play through ALL aspects. unless i misread what you said, youve only played through as ds (and im assuming male), which wont give you the entire story. no offense, but dont blame the game for not answering questions you had when, in fact, it does answer a good portion of them (not all), if you play out all the options. -
Mira's starting stats?

i liked her better as a "regular" character than a jedi. i enjoyed using her rocket launcher as a ranged weapon. -
Just Finished PC Version-WTH?

this is all explained through dialogue this is all explained through dialogue if you actually talk to him hell tell you his entire backstory, which answers what youre asking. im wondering if you actually paid attention to the dialogue at all, or even bothered speaking to your party members and/or npcs you came across. every single thing you "dont understand" was explained at some point during the game. score another one up to someone complaining about something being "broken" or "incomplete", even though they just didnt figure it out. i know this game has problems, but my god i wish people wouldnt complain about things that are THEIR fault, not the games. <_< -
Knights of the Old Republic 2: Good or Bad?
NeverwinterKnight replied to yodaman115's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
i felt similar, although in my case the more i played the more i began to enjoy it. i think for me the first play through left quite a few questions, but most (not all) were answered after a couple more playthroughs and by doing things differently than before. -
congrats on the nomination. but would that be considered a slap in the face losing to ANYTHING mario related?

E-mail the admins about a patch
NeverwinterKnight replied to Xavier97x2's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
why? they just manage the forums. they dont work on the game. that would be like emailing the guys who run the nhl.com website to complain that they need to come to a resolution to the nhl labor dispute. -

Knights of the Old Republic 2: Good or Bad?

theres no option that fits what i think of the game. im leaning towards preferring kotor1, but at the same time your options make it sound like kotor2 sucks if i dont choose a "neutral" option. on my personal ranking scale, it would be a case of kotor1 scoring a 9.5 and kotor2 scoring a 9 out of 10. -
If you are a woman, you get Disciple instead of Handmaiden. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Different place? Or should I have picked them up after leaving Telos? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

grrr. there goes my reason for playing as a female pc. :D

i didnt say the plot was perfect. but youve been making it sound like it makes NO sense, even though a)you havent even finished the game yet and b)people have told you why you are thought of as the "last known jedi" by those who are chasing you and those you encounter. in theory, im still not a big fan of the story. it was good, but not great. i was just commenting on your blanket statement that it made no sense.

In the eyes of TSL, War makes Jedi go evil.
NeverwinterKnight replied to Tyrell's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
have you read the novels? or just relied on the movies? because ive read every single pt/clone wars novel and in MANY cases theyve made mention of jedi turning "dark" and going to dookus cause. edit: haha i should read more than just half your post. :"> but yeah, my original comment still stands. theyve made mentions of jedi going "dark" in the clone wars. -
uh? you havent played the game much have you? or spoken to the jedi masters that you meet. because they CLEARLY tell you they are, in fact, hiding much the same way obi-wan and yoda are. id be curious to know how far along you are in the game, because from the sounds of your answers, you havent even talked to or met half the people who you will meet that will answer these comments of yours.

did you go in to your control panel and disable any kind of email notifications, not just thread subscriptions?

in this discussion, and in any other discussion ive have never resorted to calling you a fanboi as a cop out for not having a comeback. thus, whether other people have called you that is irrelevant to anything you respond to of mine. and? your character believes the same thing you do. hence why theyre always telling kreia and whoever comments on it "but im no longer a jedi". your character is just as stubborn as you are, because kreia fully explained why the sith hunting you and people you encounter BELIEVE you to be (even if youre not) the last jedi. just look at the star wars movies (the OT). vader and the emperor believe the jedi to be completely wiped out, yet obi-wan is living as a hermit and yodas enjoying his stay in the new jersey swamps. so does that make the emperor and vader "retarded" for believing they had eradicated all the jedi, despite the fact that two of the most powerful jedi still live? does the fact they can sense luke skywalker and are chasing skywalker, yet have no clue yoda is still around make the story "lame" because they believe skywalker is the last of the jedi?
-
and you saying it is lame doesnt make it bad. the fact is youre too stubborn to even consider my explanation and instead would rather call my theory or reasons lame or consider me gullible. try breaking down my explanation and think about them. the story makes sense if you actually open your mind and not be so stubborn that you=right and anyone who disagrees=wrong or gullible or fanboi.

Some questions I have about Revan and TSL
NeverwinterKnight replied to Tyrell's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
depends which ending you believe to be more "canon". if you believe kotor1 ending to be more canon, then go with the former. if you believe the latest ending (ie. tsl) to be more canon, go with the latter. personally, since lucasarts gave the okay for both endings, and since this is supposed to be a continuity between games, id have to say the kotor2 ending is the one that will be "canon".
