which "official" forums are you referring to? the lucasarts forums dedicated to kotor2? or the ones that have a section for books, movie, etc.? one is pretty good, the other is filled with prepubescent dorks. -

im 99% positive i looted one corpse while waiting for the second girl to get "unstuck" from the table. so even permitting you never checked ONE of them to make sure she is dead, i damn well did loot the other, so at most, only one should show up on gotos yacht. " -

so basically you want a game that is 10 times as big, ten times as long, with a much more convoluted story to incorporate every single pc and npc party member from both games and include "the most famous sith lords"? no offense, but i would absolutely loathe that game. it would be a big jumbled mess. -

i think that fight lacked a cutscene for sure, because i too found it weird that i killed them, but then they reappear with no explanation aboard gotos yacht. atleast with a cutscene showing them limping away out the door and throwing a curse at atton about "well get you next time" or something, even though it might be cheesey, it would atleast explain why they came back to life and appeared again. -

i was thinking about that part. i think maybe it would have been better if at that point and atton "loses" (ie. dies), they do a cutscene where the two knock him unconscious and carry him off, and then it switches back to the exile. then later on aboard gotos ship rescuing atton from one of those force cages is part of a mini-quest while aboard. -

how many (and which) games actually play a different way depending on your classes? most games seem to allow you to use different classes, but in the grand scheme of things the game and story plays out pretty much the same (except in terms of how you strategize for combat). -

agreed. but in my case its the whole star wars thing where the droids are the one constant in all the movies. it would be kind of cool to see them be in all the games (atleast for the kotor series). agreed. especially if kotor3 represents the "final chapter", it would be interesting to have some memorable npcs wrap things up with your pc to end things, but only at a point in the game where its feasible for their level whatever butts to join. agreed. some of the planets (about half) in kotor2 felt smallish and confining. agreed. it would add even more replayability, considering you could pick and choose which npcs join you. it would also make you choose smartly, since if you diss one npc and that npc just happens to be ultra powerful, then youve made yourself another bad ass enemy. sort of agreed. i want to play a star wars rpg where you can play as a non jedi class, but im not sure kotor is the series for it, mainly since it seems to be so centred around the "jedi vs. sith", "darkside vs. lightside" idea. disagree. i liked this feature. it might not have been implemented as best as it could have, but i thought it was a neat feature, especially considering it didnt happen TOO much. once on peragus, twice on nar shadaa, once on dxun, once on malachor (only briefly too). agreed. although i liked the influence system, id like to see it tweaked even more to make it completely fleshed out. right now it seemed like a pretty good beta version of the influence system. indifferent. this one i couldnt really be bothered with. most plot twists in games end up being of similar kind. agreed. the ease of combat was just mindboggling. especially when the game is filled with dark jedi attacking me, yet for some unknown reason, they refuse to pepper me with force storm or force crush of their own, instead charging at me with their lightsabers while i mop them up before they even get within 10 feet of me. disagree. this happens in other games as well when you get "trained" by someone through dialogue. I cant believe i agreed with volourn for 7 out of 10 of his wish list. -

funny stuff. although i have to say that, for the most part, i think the influence system was a great idea. im just not sure the end product turned out right (atleast the part where even after you have influence over them, they still act like their old self). -
