  1. favorites: onderon/dxun, nar shadaa, telos not too fond of: dantooine, korriban (except the cave), peragus, malachor v
  2. i thought he answered questions about both? if not, then my mistake. :">
  3. well youve stated you barely use her. so i wasnt sure if you actually knew her backstory since the only thing you really learn about her without using her in your party or talking to her is that, for some reason, hanharr has a life debt with her, but seems to want to kill her too. i just wasnt sure if you actually thought her entire backstory was hanharr related or not.
  4. not to be a broken record (ok i will be) but why do you keep calling mira that? thats not her backstory at all. she does not "love" hanharr and her backstory, quite frankly, has nothing to do with hanharr. he just happens to be someone she saved from death and thus owes her a life debt.
  5. Talk to the Duros on the desk at hanger bay 3. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and the twi'lek guarding that same door.
  6. yeah. im kind of curious about who drakron is referring to with that comment. i neither wanted to be a "uber jedi" nor have an incomplete/rushed game. i believe the only thing i ever wanted was kotor2 to be good. not sure how that is "exactly what i got".
  7. places i liked: sith cave on korriban: -loved this part. interesting to see the "history" behind a few events mentioned throughout both games. although malak was a bigger weenie than i thought when he still had his jaw. dxun/onderon: -my favorite of all the planets. i thought it was cool how the planet had its own problems that didnt necessarily have to do with my pc or the sith/republic conflict (although both played a part in determining which side won). -learning more about the mandalorians was good nar shadaa: -seemed like the "largest" planet. i enjoyed the stuff with the exchange and the bounty hunters. it was also interesting to actually get to "play" a planet that ive read about so often in eu novels. telos: -some interesting stuff, especially atris' academy and the stuff with czerka and the exchange. im a big fan of seeing the "minor" factions have conflict that help give you a break from the republic/sith conflict. characters i liked: kreia: -most indepth character in the game. i loved the voice acting and i really enjoyed the character. sure she was transparent early on, it was obvious who she was, but not quite so obvious until the end why she did the things she did. mira: -im just a sucker for the spunky redhead with the rocket launcher. sue me. handmaiden: -interesting backstory, especially about her mother/father and her "roots". visas: -tragic story. but an interesting backstory. shes the only reason that darth nihilus is even fleshed out at all. if it werent for visas and her dialogue wed know next to nothing about nihilus. atton: -i liked him MUCH better than carth (hes kotor2s version of carth). his backstory wasnt spectacular, but i thought the character itself, with his sarcasm and whatnot, was more entertaining than carths whining.
  8. then he should have atleast mentioned the word "kotor2" in his post. as it is, his post looks more like a comparison of summoner 1 and 2. too late. i quoted you on it.
  9. my actual vote would be for something inbetween option 1 & 2. but since it wasnt available, i voted for option 1 since i had fun playing through the story 3 times (in the middle of my fourth).
  10. ....what does this have to do with kotor2?
  11. another thread based on assumptions. jade empire isnt even released yet so how can you even tell whether it will be good or not. im not saying it wont (naturally, since it hasnt been released), but to say that it will be better without seeing the final product is stupid. thats just as conclusive as saying that kotor3 will be better than jade empire. *before anyone says "durrr kotor3 isnt in development yet", think about my point for a moment* "
  12. my buddy has a problem with t3-m4 not moving on peragus near the end of his "solo" mission to open up that escape route for the exile. hopefully this, and many other "freezes" are fixed in a patch. (hopefully there is an actual patch released that fixes things, period).
  13. i usually prefer to the rogue or thief type character. something about being in the shadows and mysterious always appealed to me.
  14. been playing ps:t the past couple of days. ive forgotten how interesting a game it is.
  15. how exactly did they betray our trust?
  16. im surprised he or his superiors still have a job, considering the bad publicity the decisions made under him have caused.
  17. haha my roommate has made that statement about every time he plays a game on his comp. :D
  18. i havent talked to him since last night, so im not sure if he got the game to work past that part. but based on your post it looks like hes going to wait for a patch or something.
  19. notify me if/when you accomplish this. then ill know when to go out and buy the pc version. "
  20. *cough* Mike Gallo *cough* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> poor guy. make false statements about a simultaneous release and be branded for life.
  21. the jedi masters admit the bond exists, but that kreia probably lied about the severity of the bond.
  22. no no, i have the xbox version and mine works fine. his is the pc version where he had this problem. sorry, i should have specified that.
  23. i still think people are taking a random comment by an obsidian employer to a random comment (it wasnt even really a question) a bit too seriously.
