  1. and yet its such an enthralling experience that you took time out to post. :D
  2. this is one of the reasons im tempted to actually pick it up right away. originally i had planned to see the reaction on here first and see what kind of bugs most people had before deciding to buy it. but the sale ends on the 10th and, as you said, $10 is $10. so my only options are a)buy it now in time for the sale or b)wait until it reaches the bargain bin, because i definitely dont want to pay full price for a game that ive already played on the xbox.
  3. wow look at that. the official release date is announced TWO FREAKIN DAYS before it hits shelves. good to see lucasarts has made kotor2 pc version a big priority. [/sarcasm]
  4. that all assumes that not only will kotor3 be made, but that the story will be a closure for the revan and exile character. my worry is that it wont and that we will have a third protagonist and that the stories will all be a jumbled mess with no closure.
  5. i was going to on my last ds play thru, but the option never came up.
  6. id just like to point out that even though i voted for "end sequence", im only referring from the point when you land on malachor v on. i liked the dantoine exchange (especially if all the council is alive still).
  7. Now why would I do that? I'm actually hurt <{POST_SNAPBACK}> fibber.
  8. haha i never noticed that before now. now that you mention it that does seem rather weird. more examples of how lucasarts rushing the game meant inconsistencies like this werent found?
  9. in other words, the loot isnt really that great. i think the best part of that whole conversation, rather than the loot and hidden compartments, is the fact it adds to the story about how the ebon hawk seems to pass through various owners over its time.
  10. i beat all five of them. but i just used force powers because i believe i convinced them that in a real fight anything goes. i dont think i got anything other than xp for beating them.
  11. im still not sure why he bothered posting a review when he hadnt even finished atleast a single play thru. seems kind of counterproductive to me. its like watching the first 15 minutes of a movie and then writing a review about it. it just makes no sense.
  12. theres no rating because the reviewer only played the first planet.
  13. if there are no plans for a kotor3, or if the plans dont include the "closure" that we all (or atleast those who have voiced it in this thread) want, then im even more disappointed that they even bothered mentioning revan in kotor2. i was perfectly fine with his story being over after kotor1 since kotor1 did a relatively good job of wrapping up his story. but now...it feels like kotor2 not only left kotor2s characters story up in the air, but also went back and undid everything i accomplished in kotor1. thats probably a bit of an exaggeration, but on some levels thats how it feels, especially if a)there is no kotor3, b)if kotor3 has a brand new protagonist or c)doesnt deal with "closure" of the first two protagonist.
  14. you failed the germans and now this is your punishment. "
  15. Yeah. US is coming on 10th and UK on 14th. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hahaha lucasarts screwed over the us and most of europe market in favor of the germans. i guess we know which side lucasarts was on during world war 2.
  16. you're not very good at this debate stuff, despite your attempt at condescending wit. volourn said it was the buggiest game ever. therefore thats volourns prerogative to "prove" his argument is correct or not. not mine. you stated that it was not and used the fact that you never came across a bug as the "proof" that volourns comment was wrong. again, thats up to you to provide proof for your theory/argument. not mine. then i commented solely on your theory that (im paraphrasing here) "because i didnt encounter any bugs, then automatically that proves it that there were no bugs". that is flawed beyond belief. especially considering if you take a look at the bloodlines forums youd see that an ungodly amount of people have reported having problems, some of the minor variety, some of the game stopping major variety. so considering there is all that proof for it to be considered an incredibly buggy game (and possibly, as volourn stated, buggiest ever), and all you can offer is that YOU never had a problem, while admitting your friend ran in to the game stopper, makes your "theory" that much less valid. now run along.
  17. umm.....they certainly come up with rather strange things nowadays. so feargus, chris and co. are you guys working on the sequel to this?
  18. then deus ex 2 didnt have any bugs either, since i didnt come across any. in other words, flawed logic.
  19. Pray to God you don't have an ATI card. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hey now. i have an ati card and i didnt have a single problem with kotor1, except for the lowering of effects. but that was more due to the low specs of the comp than the actual graphics card.
  20. this computer is too outdated to play with full settings.
  21. i think what makes kotor2s cliffhanger worse is that it included in it as well. i think if it were just a cliffhanger about the exile, it might be irksome, but somewhat forgiveable. but when you combine the two it just screams for closure.
  22. click here is it me or is that not their xbox review copy and pasted exactly as is from like two months ago?
  23. wow, yeah that post had so much to do with kotor2 and all.
