Is that all? I got the impression he had a bunch of other community service and donations that helped his case.

I would say the Smollet case had reached the proper conclusion. Why waste money on prosecution and potential jail time? He ends up paying some money and is publicly shamed and written off his show. Seems like a pretty fitting resolution. Sure, some people are going to trump this as him being vindicated, but those people never would have believed he was guilty to begin with.

Weirder, More random, More Interesting.
Yeah, I don't get the resistance to automation. It should be viewed as a way to allow people to focus on the interaction aspects of customer service over rote tasks.

possible the only good part 'bout growing up poor in the 80s is we couldn't afford all the horrible fashion nonsense which were the de rigueur. no flock o' seagulls hair. no parachute pants. no mesh anything. is thus no embarrassing 80s pictures o' Gromnir. more accurate, is no embarrassing 80s fashion pictures o' Gromnir. ... we did have a second-hand members only jacket. weird. HA! Good Fun! My parents bought me a Z Cavaricci t-shirt, since I couldn't afford the pants. It didn't work, middle school was rough. At least until I started playing hockey and solving problems with my fists.

I started doing Yoga regularly about 5 years ago. Yoga with Adriene was a good way to get started, show runs through a lot of 30-day programs that are easy to follow. Now I typically just do my own routines, since I've got enough of a feel for it. I usually mix in a lot of pilates type body weight exercises as well to help with strengthening. I can get a solid session in with about 20 minutes, typically in between my classes. It also makes me way more focused and ready for the next group of students that come barging through the door.

I tried the Epic store. It seems as functional as anything else. I installed a game and it played.

They are actually going to tear down the house in a couple years, so really we are just trying to make it looks decent for ourselves while we save up money with the cheap rent. Plus I figure it is a good property to practice my DIY skills on. When and if we buy in a couple years, we will likely be going into a fixer upper, so better to make my mistakes now and learn from them. I have a bunch of 2x4's, I wonder if I can use my table saw to cut some decent looking baseboards? Might not be worth the time, but it could be a decent project. I could also repurpose the cabinet doors. I am using Citristrip gel as my paint stripper because I was nervous about dying.

nfl 2019-2020
My one college spring break experience had us driving across Mexico in a rental van, checking out all the beach towns on the Baja coast. We actually ran into Jeff Garcia at a bikini judging contest, and being fellow Spartans, we spent the rest of the night drinking with the guy. He became the starter for the 49ers the next year.

My dog won't go near stairs, which works out well since we don't want him up there. Ok, I stripped the horrid paint off the kitchen cabinets and removed the doors, so we have a nice open cupboard system. I might paint them down the road, but for now I need to focus on other stuff. I also stripped the one beat up window frame in my daughters room, sanded it, and painted it. It looks way better, cracks are filled up and the mold is gone. I'm still at a loss as to what to do with the moldings around the door. The sander is chewing up the wood too much and the stripper is messy and time consuming. There are too many dang door frames. I also need to learn about baseboards, and since we are out of money, it needs to be super cheap.

So I have discovered to joys of power sanding, and have been stripping off all of the terrible layers of paint that cover up the lovely natural wood in our new fixer upper.

I've always thought I was 1/8th Italian, and so I would lecture people on proper pasta preparation and enjoy biscotti. But then my sister did one of those DNA tests and I found out it is more like 1/16th Italian. Now I struggle with pasta, but at least I don't need to eat biscotti anymore.- The All Things Movie Thread
Super Troopers 2 - Pretty funny, about on par with the original. The Mounties were fantastic. Also I'm thankful that certain posters use bold fonts, because I find it easier to skip over that way. Why are you guys reading those rants? Pretty sure it's getting copy and pasted onto a bunch of other forums, as well.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Steam has had 15 years to work all that out though. Offline mode was a disaster for like the first ten. is it suppose to be excuse? I think my point still stand, if you want to compete you have to put out more than your opponent Or you offer something different than your opponent. Most new companies don't win by trying to outgun the titans of the industry. The only reason I tried Epic was for the free Thimbleweed Park. I'll keep it installed so I can play Phoenix Point. Seems like a pretty simple market decision. Origin actually launched in good shape with full features, stability, and ran better than Steam on my machine. But I rarely launch it because of the games they are peddling.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I'll stop you right there, because that hasn't changed. All the rest is just white noise. If the stuff that has nothing to do with the game bothers you, then request a refund and don't crowd fund in the future. That will make it easy on yourself.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
