Got home from a long bike ride today to find my family had locked me out. Managed to get into the garage, so I am setting up an old roku box to an old tv while I wait for someone to get home.

That actually makes me wonder if there isn't some sort of extra licensing cost at work there. Again, this is a special edition of a fairly niche product, so it's not like they are in it for the cash grab. Everyone knows you go mobile for that.

That is pretty dang pricey. Does it at least include all the expansions? edit: Looks like it does. Huh, weird that the EE edition alone is only $20. Something wrong with that pricing system.

That's kind of my point, they seem like the only team out there taking on these types of gigs. Or at least, taking them on and finishing them.

Beamdog is working in a very niche marketplace, so I wouldn't worry too much about them swimming through piles of gold coins anytime soon. I've never understood the resentment they get.

I am sure they will return. Jordan Weisman is a genius, and that is one of his babies. I too was surprised at how well they captured the tone of the PnP game, but when you realize it is the original creator behind it, it makes a lot of sense. Next I just need to get Ian Currie to make another Jagged Alliance.

Yeah I don't mean to say they are all a snooze, I just remember when it was all must-watch entertainment for me. Some have been great, but they seem to be the ones that break from convention. Just being a comic book movie is no longer enough. I loved Logan, and Deadpool is great because it satirizes all of it. But I can wait on most of this stuff that is showing up.

I wonder when we reached the point of oversaturation when it comes to super hero content? I mean, I just yawned at that, and I haven't even finished the Punisher season 1, which is my favorite comic from my childhood. I'm going to say it was either the second Ironman or the 3rd Christian Bale Batman.

That Spider-Man teaser trailer seems to misunderstand the word teaser. It looks fun though. Also cool to see Prince of Persia in it.

Someday if you accomplish something special, you might get an invite to The White House, where you will dine on delicious Big Macs. The President will even pay for that food out of his own pocket, setting him back dozens of dollars. What a time to be alive.

Isn't there an option in the EE editions to play the game in the original form, though? At least I thought that was the case with the BG's.
