What? I mean, you pay like $10 a month for the whole library. You can watch it and just cancel your sub after a month. Heck, you can probably even watch it on a free trial period. I'm not sure you can find a better bargain for your entertainment dollars. Maybe the public libraries are a better deal, but that's about it.

We had a fun weekend at Donner Lake. On Saturday my wife did her first sprint triathlon. I think I was as nervous as she was. She did great. The swim was the big hurdle, and she got through it. Very fun to be cheering instead of racing. Today I did the Olympic Triathlon. I did it last year and it was beautiful. It was the only race I wanted to do again. I improved my time by 11 minutes, so it was fun to see the progression.

Well, they are supposed to be representatives for their district, so Trump is really speaking to everyone who voted for them.

I think so. Although it is a pretty fast progression, and I believe you can set server rules to increase speed.

I am curious if it would be worth creating a private Obsidian pve server for Conan Exiles. I am enjoying it as a single player experience, but it would be nice to share the space.

Hollywood has been re-imagining classics since anything was old enough to be considered a classic, so I think the answer is more that there are simply more whiners on the internet nowadays.

I have a lot of games wishlisted, but it is just a simple way to follow games I am interested in. The emails are easy to ignore if I am not in the mood to snatch something up on sale.

I'd also argue Sharpie's point about rich western kids. Rich kids don't backpack across Europe and stay in Hostels. These are likey middle class kids, maybe even upper middle class, but hardly rich. The rich use yachts and stay in fancy palaces. Thry are probably on a tight budget and this is one way for them to keep they trip going. Sounds miserable to me, but I doubt this is something new. The hippy parallel is correct.

Again, it looks like they were performing, not just begging ( I didnt watch either, just based on the picture :p). Playing a guitar on the street is different than sitting with a sign out. Both people might be dealing with similar circumstances, but one is clearly offering something in exchange for your money.

I kind of feel like Perlman has moved out of B-movie territory. I mean, he headlined a successful TV show and he's had a ton of voice work on major projects. Sure, he's still a bit campy when he gets a good bit part, but he's no Bruce Campbell.

Today I decided to make a trebuchet in Conan Exiles, because it was a mission or something. I've been building my little fortress on a small cliff overlooking a beach, and I found a good place for it. Once I had it all ready to go, I cranked it back and let it fly towards the beach. It didn't go very far, but it did manage to disturb the Shaleback King hanging out on the beach. It just ticked him off, so he came charging up the slope to show me what is up. I retreated a but with the use of my elevator and fired some arrows down on him, but that just seemed to make him grumpy. Then I managed to get my thralls in on the act, and jumped behind him to finish him off with a warhammer. It was my first boss battle!

So Conan Exiles is my game of the year. I mean, they just nailed so many different types of games in this thing. The world is engaging and hits the Conan vibe, the character development is well balanced, and then it is just this amazing building/survival game on top of it all. I am surprised it isn't getting more positive buzz.

Mulan looks pretty good live-action.

Bummer for Toronto. I mean, they probably knew he was most likely a short termer, and it did pay off for them, but still going to be a shock to fall back down to earth next season. Of course the East is still pretty dang weak. Cali dreamin' for all these players.

No doubt Christians are persecuted in many places in the world today. The idea that Gorth is adding to that with his statement is at best clumsy, and at worst is manipulating a tragic situation to score points in an argument.
