They put crappy gears on all new bikes. 7 gears and none of them a high gear for when you are already at speed. I had to get my new bike souped up and I'm still not completely happy about it. My dad's old 3 speed was the best I had so far. I don't want to have 10 speeds and be chaning gears constantly, I just want 5 that actually make sense.

Well good, then we can have some more hardcore f2p games. Giant budgets don't make better games, just prettier ones that are marketed more agressively. 35 gigs is a lot. That would take whole days to get for the average internet connection. It's keeping me from getting it on steam anyway.

Aside from the fact that they probably can't make the engine work, think WW1. It's still got massed infantry and cavalry, the Uhlans were expressly banned from being reformed in the treaty of versaille. Early tanks wouldn't be a problem, biplanes and zeppelins would. The air would be the new combat theater, not a bad selling point. It's an incredibly rich environment.

I don't know if the new engine justifies a new game. Shogun Total war was the first in the series and it's very dated now. Rome 2 will look similar, high resolutions and impressive looking campaign map, but similar.

So, any guesses on what the next Total War game will be. American civil war probably. It's still got line infantry and cavalry, would not be that difficult to adapt the engine. There's already been two Japanese titles so I don't think we will be seeing China or Korea as a setting. Everything else has pretty much been done once before.

yep. Alien 3 is kinda boring though. They are all trapped in that prison planet dump so it's a bit predictable and doesn't change pace untill the last half hour or so. Alien 4 overcompensated, everything is cartoony dual wielding action. Totally ruins the atmosphere.

It really pisses me off that I'm required to pay for the upkeep of our state owned TV. If it was ONLY public service then fine, but it's bloody danish X factor and overpriced new offices for everyone. All the journalists and anchorpeople are effectively enployed by the population. Valhalla rising is very low budget and has practically no dialouge. For what it is it's a pretty awesome achievement. The people who voted it into the worst ever Danish film category are nincompoops. What you don't get is production value, what you do get is atmosphere and inspired acting by Mads Mikkelsen.
