Eagle Scouts returning medals
Maybe gay and lesbian rigths will go the way of the feminists, as in you won, give it a rest already. We aren't quite there yet though.

Eagle Scouts returning medals
This battle has already been fought to the highest level and lost. There is no further recourse unless the BSA themselves change the rules and they have recently reviewed those rules (since this scout master presented them with some sort of signature sheet) and reaffirmed their stance on the matter. You don't get it, the activists can win both by getting the BSA to change their policy and by making them look like a biggoted organisation. They have momentum in several sattelite wars. This is just one possible Tet Offensive if you will.

Eagle Scouts returning medals
The gay and lesbian rigths people are free to use the boyscouts for activism purposes as well, it goes both ways. Activism isn't sitting on your hands secure in the knowledge that you have the moral high ground. If you don't actively point out where in society these disciminations occur and attempt influence them you don't get media coverage, and you never get to critical mass were things start to change. What good would the Selma march have been without pictures of racist cops going to town on peaceful protesters.

What are you playing now? Part 3'ish
It serves a DRM purpose. You have to create an online profile, which gives them time to check if your game is cracked. Of course it didn't work, but then nothing they ever try works. Diablo 3 was cracked maybe a week later than norm complete with an always online server emulator. That and execs love looking at statistics. Information about how their customers play their games will likely be used to screw something up that didn't need changing some time in the future.

What are you playing now? Part 3'ish
Gave up on Max Payne 3. Got to the last, or thereabouts, bossfight with a guy hiding behind a riot shield and shooting a grenade launcher, died close to 100 times on hard and a few more on easy. Just couldn't figure out what direction the game was shoohorning me into then decided I didn't care. A shame really it was pretty good otherwise. Why are most bossfights anoying anomalies that you just wish were over. There are better ways of making it difficult than having the player go through a trail and error process because the gameplay is different from what you have been doing 90% of the time.

It's not so much a discovery as wishful thinking though.

Disturbing to say the least, but it raises an interesting question. What happens when you will be able to buy more life with money. In a general health sense we are already there, but when the very rich become immortal. Will it be time to reimagine the monetary system, will a revolution succeed, or will they divide and conquer like they always have.

STEAM!
As bad as windows is my experience of MacOs is that everything has large shiny buttons, there is no context menu on the right click button and you can't do anything if you are not signed into Itunes. Can you even still install from disk or is it all Appstore now.

STEAM!
The strength of the series is in the feel, the level design and the exploration but appart from that its a shooter and it gets quite challenging at times.
