  1. Nothing wrong with a little sex and violence.
  2. Another vote for Homeworld. I loved those games.
  3. Good game, lots of drama. England finally breaks the spell. We're still in it, up against Germany though. Going to be epic.
  4. The point is how much of that frantic imput goes to respond to the tactical situation and how much is just filler. There is fair ammount of filler in series like SC and Warhammer at least.
  5. I bet the old geezers who were forced to survive with puny PS1s will be saying the same thing. The load times were awful, it used an optical drive, the disks that would scratch and eventually be unreadable. we had to walk down to the store and buy a physical copy. Kids now a days have no appreciation.
  6. If you have to be all over the place with the mouse all the time it just means the controls and shortcuts are bad. There is no option to queue up construction & research, you can't set a unit to auto use its ability, that kind og thing. Maybe they made them that way so we could be dutifully impressed with people who are good at being hyper, it's still just bad controls though.
  7. This brings a question to mind. Here in the US, to drive a car you need to have a Drivers License. This document certifies that you have passed the test to drive but more importantly has your picture, name and address on it. This effectively serves as most peoples primary form of identification not only for driving but proving your age (for alcohol) or writing/cashing a check...basically everything. In your case you most likely do not have a drivers license (if your country even has such a thing) so what do you guys use for identification? Like when he "pulled you over" what did you show him to prove your identity? Does your country simply use a National identification card that serves a similar purpose as our drivers licences? The law says you are not required to produce identification on demand, of course if you are stopped in a car not having one on you is a very expensive prospect. If you don't produce identification they ask for your social securit number, which you have to give, and check it against your adress and whatever else they have in their database. This is actually better protection against identity theft than a simple plastic card with your name on it.
  8. Staying safe on a bike when you would be mashed potatoes in a head on collision is about situational awareness, red ligths, green ligths, I tend not to get bogged down in these things. Ohh and while they probably won't kill you, the most dagerous thing out there is without a doubt other cyclists.

Full circle and now as retro cool as a taperecorder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s7pNmhnBTw
  10. That's really showcasing faults in the game more than anything else. Frantic mouse clicking should not be much of an RTS asset. Decisionmaking should be.
  11. Well we consider that (our version) a school activity more than a sport anyway so it still works for me. I understand much of the game time is spent spitting and scratching your balls. This is just from watching various movies.
  12. It's not physically challenging. It requires exceptional hand-eye coordination but you don't have to be in shape to play. You know, like golf.
  13. Maybe they get a percentage.
  14. I had no idea you were a 12-year old, Gorgon. You made fun of my transformers.
  15. Part of the definition surely is that it has to be physically challenging, as well as be a game of skill. Snooker doesn't really count for this reason either.
  16. I almost screwed myself doubly getting home. Cop gave me a ticket for sneaking the green light by a millisecond. One of those things that really do not matter for road safety, but if you see a cop rigth next to you, you behave. I didn't see him. Then I kinda called him an **** and told him to stop talking and start writing the ticket, it just slipped out. That would have been twice the fine, they are supposed to write you up for oral abuse, but he seemed to ignore it. Anyway going to work today was a net loss.
  17. Find the right decision I guess. Talk to a doc.
  18. I once had am intern take my blood. She kept apologising which didn't really make up for not knowing what she was doing.
  19. I just assument since it was missing a dramatic story that he accidentally stabbed himself.
  20. It's two words. 'You are' contracted. How hard is that. 'Scuse me. I get testy about that.
  21. I have to work while Denmark - Germany is on. It's a bloody travesty.
  22. I know what you mean.
