Is Taxation Theft?
It really pisses me off that I'm required to pay for the upkeep of our state owned TV. If it was ONLY public service then fine, but it's bloody danish X factor and overpriced new offices for everyone. All the journalists and anchorpeople are effectively enployed by the population. Now if only we could fire all their asses as well.

Valhalla rising is very low budget and has practically no dialouge. For what it is it's a pretty awesome achievement. The people who voted it into the worst ever Danish film category are nincompoops. What you don't get is production value, what you do get is atmosphere and inspired acting by Mads Mikkelsen.

There are only two things I hate in this world; People who are disrespectful of other peoples' cultures... and the Dutch

The HUD looks like Max Payne.

Ok, but the cameras were not mounted on the drones.

The fancy manouvering is all done in GPS though. The drones know where everything is in d3 space updated 100 times a second. That can't be replicated outside the lab, it would take too much onboard computing.

Iron Man 3
Dark Knight returns with Jeff Bridges, maybe Kris Kristofferson fingers crossed. Getting tired of Bale by now. He did a good job though. Miles better than the previous bunch. Don't care enough about Iron man to get involved. Robert Downey is awesome as Stark though.

I just stopped caring about stuff I can't do anything about. That's what usually get's people depressed. Our lives aren't that long, no need to spend so much of it miserable. Probably not the right guy to give you advice on scoring, but you need to get out there and seek it out, like Giftd said.

The official E3 2012 thread
Naked bodies is about as far as you can take it anyway. There is a reason it's usually done in a fade to black. Showing everything would just be too stupid. Erect willies... just, no. There aren't many games that go beyond showing a little extra skin. Doesn't really qualify as sex in my book. As far as stereotyping goes, absolutely, there aren't many characters who resemble real people.

Nothing wrong with a little sex and violence.

What other classic games would you like to see Kickstarter Revival for?
Another vote for Homeworld. I loved those games.

The point is how much of that frantic imput goes to respond to the tactical situation and how much is just filler. There is fair ammount of filler in series like SC and Warhammer at least.

Duke in G.I Joe Retaliation
I bet the old geezers who were forced to survive with puny PS1s will be saying the same thing. The load times were awful, it used an optical drive, the disks that would scratch and eventually be unreadable. we had to walk down to the store and buy a physical copy. Kids now a days have no appreciation.

If you have to be all over the place with the mouse all the time it just means the controls and shortcuts are bad. There is no option to queue up construction & research, you can't set a unit to auto use its ability, that kind og thing. Maybe they made them that way so we could be dutifully impressed with people who are good at being hyper, it's still just bad controls though.

This brings a question to mind. Here in the US, to drive a car you need to have a Drivers License. This document certifies that you have passed the test to drive but more importantly has your picture, name and address on it. This effectively serves as most peoples primary form of identification not only for driving but proving your age (for alcohol) or writing/cashing a check...basically everything. In your case you most likely do not have a drivers license (if your country even has such a thing) so what do you guys use for identification? Like when he "pulled you over" what did you show him to prove your identity? Does your country simply use a National identification card that serves a similar purpose as our drivers licences? The law says you are not required to produce identification on demand, of course if you are stopped in a car not having one on you is a very expensive prospect. If you don't produce identification they ask for your social securit number, which you have to give, and check it against your adress and whatever else they have in their database. This is actually better protection against identity theft than a simple plastic card with your name on it. - What you did today
