  1. Releasing quasi buggy titles has been the status quo for as long as I can remember. Once in a while you get a polished bug free product, once in a long while.
  2. Forced companions ? yuck.
  3. " This is strange, Oblivion gets a 9 or a 10 with nil roleplaying options, avarage story, no partymembers to enhance the atmosphere and zero replayability but NWN2 which apparantly has a incredible story, interesting partymembers, multiplayer ability, great roleplaying and alot of replayability gets an 8?" My guess is that some basic things, like character generation struck the reviewers as poor and dragged it down. I have to say the screens from character generation I have seen have all been below par. While Oblivion is hardly a masterpiece it has nevertheless set a new standard for what is expected of the basic functions of a CRPG of this type.
  4. umm.. won't the games need all kinds of regestry stuff thats only available on C:\
  5. Of course it matters what your char looks like, you are stuck looking at the same fathead throughout the game.
  6. Denim pants, generic tshirt, black socks.
  7. You can't have glowing gray. Lightsabers glow.
  8. It's the 9th now.. Why ? I mean they are done working on it right.
  9. there is one for 0.99 and one for 9.99, pay attention.
  10. Yeah well those are pet projects, not games by major publishers.
  11. Just let it go already, noone is going to make a turn based 2d isometric game EVER AGAIN.
  12. Cheap bastards.
  13. Yeah Oblivion didn't really solve the generic dialouge problems of Morrowind. I would rather have no option to talk to everyone than finding out that they have nothing to say. At least that way you know that you are going to get something other than name, class, location, when you talk to somebody.
  14. Charging 0.99 $ for a micro mod seems kinda pathetic, but I guess it adds up.
  15. Whatever happens there is no way he can make the fundamentalist crackpots who want a turn based game happy.
  16. Everything has changed since Fallout 2 so it would be pretty hard to stay true to the 'roots' Whatever they come up with is bound to be radically different.
  17. Oblivion adons ?
  18. I like to have exact resistance and preferably increments on the thumb 'joystick' so I can feel the degrees, unfortunately that seems to have gone out of style along with joysticks
  19. I want one with an adjustable hue that shifts with my mood.
  20. I agree the oblivion gates were pretty tedious, did one did them all. More fun to raid forts for loot even if they don't have as much.
  21. As a general technical observation, the more it costs the less you get for your money
  22. What was GOTO anyway ? Bao Dur's probe or the one you got stuck with after 'defeating' whatshisface.
  23. I thought it was hilarious, but then maybe I didn't replay the game 30 times It wasen't exactly like he had much to say without probing and repairing anyway.
  24. Why did you put HK 47 in the worst ever category ? Anyway I kinda consider Atton a failed Han Solo, just me maybe. Kreia worked fine as a character, it's just that she seemed to merge with the unlikely plot and become it herself. As a consequence her motivations were never really known. I suppose thats all very sith, but it didn't make for a strong characterisation.
