  1. Dialouge is at least as prevalent as Me2. Combat is better. Weapon mods and rolling. The short missons kinda feel like a waste of time, but there are long fulfilling ones as well that will get your blood boiling, a krogan one for instance. You still can't talk to companions during missions. I don't know if that's an engine limitation but it's pretty disapointing. You will have to track them down between missions to see if they have anything new to say. Dialouge options open bonus powers.
  2. Yes some missions are very short. Especially those done on multiplayer maps. There is a fair ammount of cheese, but they do get it right and hit some high notes on occasion as well. The prothean is not Jar Jar Binks despite sounding a little silly.
  3. Alternate endings as DLC. Hahahaahah... idiots got to throw away whatever little influence they had on a few seconds of cutscene. Meanwhile the real danger, the real thing that consumer advocates should be interested in, the DLC racketeering, is completely forgotten.
  4. the worst thing about the leak thing is that there appears to be plans for a DA3. Can't they just let crappy things die and try something else.
  5. Best you can do withtout multiplayer is 3500. Thereabouts. Assets only count for half without it.
  6. This is what happens when you assembly line creativity.
  7. So Shepard is transmorgriffed into Advent regardless. Seems like he get's vaporized with alarming regularity. I just hope they don't imbue him with a lot of opinions from the architect(catalyst) that the player doesn't share. The whole synteic vs organic is in danger of becomming forced and irrelevant. It's just not interesting anymore, and now it's Advent's Raison d'etre. And of course the whole thing could be a load of bollocks.
  8. I don't know why, but this is kinda cool. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-17500008
  9. The narrative clumsily encroaching on player perogative. They have to know their limits when they do that. You can't get anywhere in telling the story without grabbing hold of the reins, but if it just leaves you thinking 'what a douche' it's an obvious failure.
  10. My main grief with ME3 is all the railroading, and I'm not talking about linear progression, but in the tone and the narrative. I felt some of the emotional high notes they wrote in there, but they assumed too much with the dream sequences and the ending, they were bloody annoying. A fact exacerbated by them for some reason being done in unskippable slo mo. To my mind they completely lost contact with the end user.
  11. It kinda sucked, but not bad enough for all this craziness. No game could suck enough for that.
  12. Tatoo transistors. Seems to me it would be more economical with subdermal implants.
  13. Has anyone played Fall of the Samurai.
  14. You always have the three options.
  15. The other two represent succumbing to reapers or something like that. And I personally find that bonus portion kinda big hint of something. Don't have answers for the rest of your post. How do we even know the destroy action destroys the reapers. It might as well be the automatic window cleaning cycle, by inference the architect is not to be trusted.
  16. Who want's to be anybody's first time. It's guaranteed to suck.
  17. Ahh, so it's almost like having a phone in your pocket that tingles, untill you touch it. Pure genious.
  18. I thought meat was a really good way to lose weight. You get a big pile of protein with little fat or carbs.
  19. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought the characters in DA2 were painfully bad. 'Elric of we have already tried the Drow to death so lets try something else', A pirate thief with ginormous knockers, Lord shoots things with arrows.... sheessh.
  20. As regards sales the show is over by the time word of mouth from people who have actually played it starts getting around and you can start taking stock of the game as a whole. So it all ends up with marketing. If you can drum up enough exitement you can probably peddle that day one DLC as well. People are stupid, they only want what's new and hot. Tried and tested is so much more preferable.
  21. Pretty pointless. Nokia R&D trying to remind everyone that they still exist to challenge the continent eating legendary Apple beast.
  22. This is what I do. I get a few stares while taking strolls around the office, don't care. I have no idea if there is any medical evidence for it, but I also found sleeping on the floor completely stretched out on my back helped.
  23. There is also an increased risk of cancer in people who work night shifts. First hit of a google http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22026660/ns/health-cancer/t/graveyard-shift-linked-cancer-risk/
  24. I haven been this excited about a new movie in at least a decade. (Prometheus) I kinda like the suggestion that the Aliens aren't the focus of the story at all, but merely window dressing in the navigator ship.
