  1. Don't like it either. Graphically loud and intrusive, could'nt find the 'stay in place' button witch made it even more of a button mash.
  2. Just thinking.., could that be considered slavery ? A new form of slavery in a new universe. Some cultures practise it, some others don't, some cultures want to eradicate that form of slavery, some others don't care.. Actually you get to go to the soul forge in the DLC. Where all your + 25% alchemy rings toil away for eternetly.
  3. The article mentions 'blurring the line between law enforcement and war', which reminds me of the Chechnian govermnent in exile, which was also on the run in various scandinavian countries and the UK. with Russia gunning for an extradition. I wonder what Oby thinks of Akhmed Zakayev.
  4. Yeah I can't really get behind him regarding his being hunted by the whitehouse for passing on the diplomatic leak - which usually would be a no brainer for me. The thing is I don't believe the Swedish charges were part of a conspiracy. He is chosing to stay away because he doesn't want to be embarrased, or even because he knows there is something to the charges.
  5. Saline solution is injected under the skin on your forehead, end result a bagel shape on your head. Lasts less than a day as the saline is re-absorbed by your body. And it's retarded.
  6. This particular meme reached me yesterday. I was suitably baffled by the prerequisite stupidity of anyone willingly associating themselves with it.
  7. It disturbs me that they are not on the same plane. The cans that is. Other than that the difference is not earth shaking. There is little difference between then govenor Romney and Obama at least.
  8. http://www.japantimes.co.jp/text/nn20120921a9.html It would be interesting to know what the effect of draconian drug laws have been. Are there markedly fewer drug addicts or just more people in prison.
  9. You woke up a 7 year old thread. How is this even possible.

  11. What's the point of a minister of culture. I mean doesn't that pretty much take care of itself. We have a minister of the arts so we can subsidise the theaters, balet dancers gotta work too you know.
  12. I hard it was 'cute'. Doesn't sound good to me. Borderlands that is.
  13. Not playing Morrowind again, I played my dues. I'm done. Finito.
  14. Just don't do it half way and have cloud saves enabled by default but creating corrupt saves (skyrim) Other than that, don't really care. Only have the one gaming computer.
  15. Whatever game he had he seemed to have lost it all based on his performance in the primaries. Getting yourself noticed while you are leading the opposition is the easiest thing in the world.
  16. Sounds almost as good as Faster than the Speed of Love.
  17. Lots of people will be jumping off the windows train after it becomes a fully closed system. Myself included.
  18. I am really not a fan of immortal companions. I particularly disliked how it was done in NWN2. You should'nt keep NPCs on life support just because they have lines later on. There is always a workaround for it if you think it through. It's a bit reminiscent of the babysitting mission debacle. As long as you can have the NPC die and have that be a result rather than a reload, I'm fine with it, but having to reload a babysitting mission over and over while being a victim of AI quirks and bad pathfinding. It's one of the tings that will make me give up on a game completely.
  19. Personally I don't want beta access. I want to play the game when it's done, not exhaust my interest in it while it's still buggy and unpolished.
  20. A name like 'Eternity' kinda suggests that you would be able to time travel, or sleep for a 1000 years like a vampire. In that context there would be guns.
  21. The Barbie dressup component of RPGs cannot be underestimated. I can't begin to count the number of people i killed - then reloaded - in FONW because I absolutely needed to try on their hats. There is no rule that says you can't have a prestige armor or two that can look the part because it only fit's one body type though.
  22. Not allowing people to indulge in their traditional discriminations is... discrimination. I think that's what they call a double jedi mind****.
  23. Picked up divine divinity for a fiver. Surprisingly it hasn't aged that badly, and thankfully there is support for modern resolutions. It's a bit hard to read with the text so tiny though.
  24. I used to be a regular at BIS, no idea how long ago that was. We used to live in a shoe and the internet was a relative novelty. My father beat me senseless with a shovel every day to build characer. Kids these days etc.
