Are The Expendables super heroes? Netflix had a lot of the Hellraiser films on instant, so I watched the first three again. Y'know, I loved those movies back when. Sure they weren't much, even for low-budget horror, but that Pinhead was awesome, and in those years, the effects were still kinda gross, if y'know what I mean. But seeing them again now....they have not aged well. At all. Except, Pinhead is still awesome. Edit: I read that they kept hoping to reboot the Hellraiser franchise. Which might not be an awful idea, except that I can't see anybody but Doug Bradley as Pinhead. They've already made 30 or so sequels for even less money seeking to trade in on name recognition. Are people really going to believe that the next Hellraiser will be good. Regardless of how much money they pump into it,

Thel sound dampeners thingies that let you hear your instrument clearly used by professional musicians will run you close to 25.000 Euro and they bear no resemblance to what is avaiable on consumer level. In ear sound is good - untill you compare with large stereo headphones.

I've got a pair that fit just fine, 'In ear' is so you can distinguish them from the pieces of **** you get free every time you get a portable device. They don't actually function any different, just have a better mold that makes it wearable for extended periods. The hardware is still tiny though, so forget about decent bass.

While were at it. Does anyone have experience with bluetooth headphones. Earplugs are nice but even the best of them can't deliver that deep bass that adds so much more to the listening experience. Using a big Hi Fi set with an adaptor and 2 meters of cable is just not very practical. The ones I have seen are all small devices, meant to be handy, not provide the best sound - for that you still need size, there is just no way around it.

I don't. This art looks like something people were making back in 2001. Even though this means looking like actual original art. Like that Da Vinci guy - wow that Renaissance art sucked. I don't know if looking like a complete retard is worth the extra battery life. Of course you could have it in your bag, but what's the point the arm strap then, and why go through all that when you can just as easily pack an extra battery, or this. Although I'd have to import, and that means it would have to be from a vendor I know can get the logistics done. I wish there was a horizontal screen mode though. You have to chose between automatic, which is not as handy as it sounds - video streams get buggered if you accidentally tilt the thing, and vertical. It kinda feels like a little gamepad so you want to hold it horizontally and the keyboard is bigger that way too but the OS only has horizontal orientaton for certain menus, not the destop for instance.

Newspapers get all their photos from online auction services, there aren't many staff photographers left and everybody's got a camera phone. It makes sense that the uploaders migth photoshop something up to make it more marketable. Doesn't necessarily have any bearing on the professionalism of the journalist. There is software available that can detect a certain level of pixel manipulation though. I guess they didn't bother.

1.4 mhz quad core, larger screen, comes with a crappy battery. I don't know why they thought having the thing as thin as a piece of paper is preferable to more battery life, but that seems to be the thought on smartphones. 5 hrs of heavy usage is about as much as you get out of any of them.

How is that Mugen battery working out in the real world ?

Does anyone know if you can get a dock that will let you charge a battery on its own, not just the phone. I have about 5hrs of continuous use on my Samsung s3 and I'm always worried I'm going to run out. It would be nice to be able to pocket a fully charged battery for a long trip with no sockets.

sounds more like a minor inconvenience, hardly anything meriting the word 'harassment'. Still, possibly enough to turn one off the game. It's probably why I don't play MMOs anymore. Too many people that annoy me.
