  1. In my playthrough the most common cases were: Hiravias - while his banters appear during walking in areas, not in conversations Maneha - while conversations regarding her personal quest Zahua - while conversations regarding her personal quest Also some other minor cases, but I don't remember them atm. Yes, sometimes reloading a previous save would fix it. But then it would appear in a different character some time later.
  2. He said he's sailing SxSE from Revua. What is there? Gotta check out the map. Revua is southest point in Eora. You meant Eastern Reach. Eora is the whole world, same as our Earth.
  3. Ha ha! Obsidian needs to make bonus DLC with such an event
  4. Sorry for bringing this up again, but I do remember that in one of development videos of Sawyer (he made a lot of them in early stages of development) he clearly said that he doesn't like class systems, and he would rather create a game in which you don't have classes to pick from, none. And as of Tyranny... I'm 99% sure this has nothing to do with Eora.
  5. As of 3.02 these two seem to be fixed - thanks
  6. There is a PDF floating around the net authored by Sawyer where his answer to "would you do it again" -- in regards to the development of PoE -- is no. His primary reason listed is because he dislikes class based systems. I don't have the link handy, though. Sorry. What he meant was the class system only, not another PoE game. PS. Here it is. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/85560-the-logic-behind-attribute-design/
  7. I'm at work so don't have time for a bigger response but this: Zahua is your NPC monk, he is in White March.
  8. Maybe. Gotta check it out sometime. But that would be something different than in Doemenels and Knights questlines. The ending is dependent of your actions in the second quest for that faction. In the Dozens case that would be the quest Bronze Beneath The Lake, but I think this doesn't apply... huh.
  9. My vote goes to ALPINE DRAGON. You know there are no Alps in this game...
  10. I started using this a few days back and it seems to work great. After downloading you just need to enter the proper path of the installation + the proper path for the savefiles. Good old fashioned black cmd window runs simultanously and shows you some information about things you're doing and errors, so be sure to have a peek if something goes wrong, so you can contact the author and report an issue. Currently I have tried it out with NORMAL, EASY and STORY MODE difficulty settings. If you have a savefile with Story Mode, the editor won't recognize it, and will not open them. But this is probably going to be fixed in the next build.
  11. This is utter nonsense in my opinion. Defiance Bay is possibly the largest city in the Eastern Reach, and the capital of Dyrwood. I doubt that anyone in your party (even the main character from overseas) should have trouble in understanding what Defiance Bay is. Let's say you are on a trip to another country, e.g. Japan. I'm 100% sure that you know exactly what Tokyo is. So, only a dimwit doesn't see connection between 'city of defiance' and 'defiance bay'. Them characters are just playing dumb with Maerwald if you ask me.
  12. Anyone knows what are the requirements for the two versions of The Dozens ruling the city? Ruling solely, without any help With some help from the Crucible Knights
  13. Why play an RPG like Pillars, then, instead of a combat-focused dungeon crawler? Such a good point.
  14. Still looking silly in my opinion. The skull, I mean.
  15. Probably on level 7/8. So get to it right now. When you enter White March, Elmshore (Act 3), Act 4 for the first time and have a higher level than required you are prompted to select if you want level scaling or not. Thus making the game more challenging if you feel overpowered. You could leave last 3 or 4 levels of Od Nua after the White March, I think. When you finish PART 1 you need to rest outside of the White March so the second part may start up.
  16. I understand you, mate. You are using rogue the same way he was intended for Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. Hide in shadows, sneak up to the enemy, slice and dice with your weapon. I am not 100% sure, but I would say that rogue in Pillars of Eternity was created in a different fashion, so it is harder to actually pull it off. The main differences are that rogues have their own unique abilities (like every other class, duh) so you can give a lot of damage to someone and escape from harms way to another target. You know, a type of a character that is flexible on the battlefield, quick, makes a lot of damage but also isn't meant for tanking so he has to run between targets to be most effective. Sneaking is probably mostly usefull in avoiding combat and some scripted interactions... so someone prove me wrong, if I'm not perceiving this correctly.
  17. Sometime this week, most likely. That would be an ideal moment for you know what: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/85528-original-npc-portraits-by-obsidian/
  18. Pale elf with beards - total portraits: 0
  19. I have a question regarding these things, but not about the temple per se. Didn't wanna start another thread. Is there any special conversations between The Wather as Eothasian Priest and Edér?
  20. *deleted*
  21. I have the same thoughts, Marceror. It seems we all are in some sort of editorial grace limbo. *screams of innocents in the distance*
