Nothing you named actually factors into Higher crit chance, or does so minimally. Even so, you're failing to realize that you're arguing the barbarian has higher crit chance. HOW? This is practically impossible, because the Monk is "critting" with every Torment's Reach, which he is spamming out at every .5 second interval. It's a move that adds as much damage as a critical but isn't actually a critical, meaning it too can critical and hit even harder. The Monk also naturally has better accuracy and therefore better crit rate. Barbarian can easily outdamage Monk when surrounded and able to exploit his AOE melee, but if we're talking single target, I dare say Monk is the champion amongst all the classes for killing singular targets the fastest. Do you even know how Brute Force works? Also, considering the vast majority of encounters consist of groups your argument isn't doing the Monk any favors. And where that edge comes from? Well, barb has only frenzy (+33 atk speed for quite short duration), blooded (situational, +20% dmg) and one stands alone(presumably +20% damage once it is fixed, right now it is in the "don't take if you don't want to break the game category", and also a bit situational) for single target. With Beserker belt and high Int frenzy will last around 20+ seconds.. Considering certain races can have upwards to 30 might with greater frenzy the majority of encounters will be over well before frenzy expires. OSA not even required. A monk may have a slight advantage against say the Adra dragon, assuming it will survive the aoe. Like it even matters when it will be dead in seconds after 1 petrify and/or a couple paralyze. Meanwhile the Barb will be well ahead in overall damage against the 2000+ other creatures in the game you'll be killing. Another thing that isn't being addressed is carnage's ability to poop out aoe weapon procs which can in turn increase group dps by a large margin.

PoE Sales?

Blackguards 2 was hot garbage - a low effort cash grab. Your post just proves that well made, polished cRPGs will sell copies. -
Two-handed Axe petition

Dual wielding is not realistic sorry. And a Pike is way less practical without mass formation. I'd rather have a 2h Axe/Warhammer in small scale melee. -

Druid for the first 9-10 levels.. shapeshift is stronger early and Wizard most likely won't have access to many spells due to Grimoire tax. Wizards 10+, as their t6 spells feel stronger, per encounters solve the quality of life issues and the lack of proper shapeshift scaling put them ahead. I love Blast of Frost but Firebug does pretty crazy damage while being much easier to land. Early game Blizzard is quite useful and Hailstorm has massive aoe and range.

His build could certainly be improved but it isnt unworkable, i mean he has way too much inteligence between the group IMO, and why he would give a chanted dexterity is beyond me but given that PoTD is just about possible with one highly optimised toon its probably not that hard to do it with a full group even if they arent 100% optimised. Well to be fair, I used item spells/scrolls far more often than innovacations on Kana. So Dexterity isn't completely lost on them if you still want to wear the heavy stuff. I dont mean that you should dump dex on a chanter but raising it above 10 is very ineffective, i am a heavy scroll user and at dex ten they cast more than fast enough, its not like you can bring more than 16 scrolls to a fight, and in solo you are gonna want at least one figurine Yeah well this isn't solo. I'm just saying if you wanted to focus your chanter on CC/buffs/debuff instead of damage/healing Dex isn't completely terrible.

So the next kickstarter is...

Obsidian has well over a 100? employees? Really don't need as many people to produce expansions as the base game. Turn based game needs to happen in order to keep Mr. Tim Cain happy though. -
None of those sell Pilgrims Crown. But in a3 you can buy exceptional and even superb weapons. By then it is probably redundant. You can buy exceptional weapons in Defiance bay at lvl 3..... If you rush to act 3 odds are you won't have enough money to buy everything and throwing a fine enchant on something is still useful until you can afford what you want.

Can you please tell me what do you mean by "ironman"? Yup, Cipher is my favourite class, but I got bored of him after two playthroughs. However Puppet Master and AOE Domination/Charm spell can't be expressed enough. Mind Binding, Mind Blades, Mind Lance and few other powers are too good to pass. Druid would be much better if his spirit forms were stronger. However, thanks to modders there is mod already that boost spiritforms to be usable in solo Hard/PotD so I think I will reroll Druid again, since now I can abuse Bear form heal and Damage reduction (16 with mod, instead of 10). Once again modders do what devs didn't balance yet . Iromman is trial of iron, trial of iron is inspired by the ironman mode in other paradox games where you dont get to reload saves and only get one life. In EU4 for example all achievements require ironman mode to be turned on and most of the middle-difficult achievements won't be achieved unless the player is specifically aiming for that achievement on that game. Trial of Iron was announced well before the deal with Paradox was ever signed. Besides that Paradox never even had the Ironman feature in their games until recently
