Hard mode is too easy.

Not entirely accurate. But you'll definitely be resting 2-3 times as much. Nope it is accurate. You cannot face 20+ Potd shadows without 2 dedicated tanks Yes you can can. -

I disagree regarding BG/BG2. You could not get significantly over leveled because each level cost twice the XP of the one before. The last bossfight was not an auto attack snooze fest in BG2 even if you did do everything. They really ought to very significantly reduce side quest XP in this game. I was level 10 when I got to Dyrford. I could accept being one or two levels too high. Being 5 levels too high is just plain stupid. Glad you disagree about BG/BG2 but you're wrong. You could even get up to about lvl 20 on some classes in BG2 before leaving Act 2. -

BG/BG2 let you overlevel most of the content even more so, especially if you had the expansion installed. As do most big cRpgs Not everybody wants to do all the side content in every play through and once you start balancing the crit based on optional content than it ceases to become optional. Sensuki mentioned it, but removing lame ass trap/lock xp would do wonders. What's really broken here are super engagement deflection tanks being untouchable though. -

Added cape and armor to the loot for the Fampyr boss. Regarding patch notes... What cape/armor was added to the Fampyr boss? Didn't drop a cape in this old save. -

Guns were king **** until Josh nerfed the living hell out of them a few days prior to release. -
I don't see anything wrong with that considering that's all Barb's excel at. Whereas Rogues still have superior single target burst and many of their damage perks ( sneak attack/deathblows) work both in melee and ranged which makes them more versatile.

I don't know about pure art, Dungeon-Be-Gone is a pretty popular BG2 mod. Then again, people tell me they enjoyed the Fade as well and I'll just never understand. I'd say the first level of Watcher's Keep is more interesting than the first 9 of Endless Path though. -

Lvl 8 isn't really THAT high for Dyrford. No one forced you to do the bounty quests, which are meant to be some of the toughest battles in the game, before Dyrford which you can go to almost immediately after Act 1. -

I can thematically understand the change to Chill Fog, but Slicken being a single-hit AoE is just utter nonsense. Wizards were already acknowledged to be wildly inferior to Druids and Priests, and now I really don't see any reason to take one, let alone take poor Aloth, aside from story/roleplay reasons; a gimped wizard with a gimped set of Attributes, with gimpy spells. Slicken definitely should be a Hazard AoE. I have no idea what they were thinking. And if Chill Fog is changed to AoE from Foe AoE (...they really should rename "AoE" into something like "All AoE" or "Friendly-Fire AoE" to fit the format...) it should be considerably buffed in some other way, such as being much larger, or do more damage. No, Chill Fog does not need a buff now that it has been 'fixed'. You're underestimating how incredibly good AOE blind is. Eothas forgive that you might have to actually micro instead of spam chill fog + attack move. -

For the PoE expansion hoping we get a Xaurip rogue/Barb and an evil Shar-teelish type. -
What rarity? Eder literally hands you a good estoc at lvl 2. And you can get and exceptional Estoc and a ridiculously awesome blizzard casting estoc after doing one easy quest immediately in act 2. Whoa. I didn't even find those two. I have one which has extra DR punch and Fire resist and also the one which is superb and with bonus attack speed and marking. Where is this blizzard one ?

That's just lazy though. Slicken has been waaay too good for months but I always used Chill Fog like it was foe/friendly so the nerf won't affect my style even on my freeze mage. It's fairly easy to micro and funnel mobs into the CF radius. -
Assuming Hard/POTD just about every encounter outside trash stuff aoe dps is more useful than single target.
