  1. Weeeee Edit: And a big thanks to Obsidian .... I'm gonna post my first bug right now
  2. Ahh - I just knew something would happen soonish...
  3. I am so excited, but I don't have time to play, until tomorrow anyway... Well at least I won't have to sit and wait, and check the backer site every 5 minutes...
  4. Exactly, that is the way it works in IWD (with HOW)
  5. I like the BG/IWD humor very much, it's very integrated into the plot and certain characters/quests. Maybe a little over the top sometimes,,, Hmmm ... I think I either had a dream or read a loooong time ago, that they will tone the humor down a bit, and also keep it dry. I hope so. I'm getting too old for silly jokes in every sentence... (That reminds me: I recently tried to play Divinity.OS, but I really didn't like it. I don't like turn based combat, I am having trouble with the controls, and ... Especially the humor - That can really ruin a game ).
  6. Thanks for the update, and thanks to all at Obsidian, for their good, hard work
  7. I am surprised that almost no one has mentioned the biggest con of them all yet. -THE BIGGEST CON: NO TOOLSET
  8. Thanks for sharing. I think this one deserves a bump
  9. There are plenty of strange, wierd suggestions in this thread. I'm just happy I'll be able to toggle most of the stuff anyone could want to toggle
  10. @Sarex : You mentioned that it will cost $60 for a demo. But, it's actually $25 for a beta key, so you're wrong about that. I really wouldn't like the game to be delayed... From the updates it sounds like everything is now on the right track? (*Ehrrm* ... I think someone from Obsidian said that the sales from POE is going to finance the expansion, correct me please if I'm wrong...)
  11. Very glad about all the things, Obsidian will NOT include...: A giant quest arrow. Voice overs, conversation animations and all that... I know it's not gonna happen, but I want a toolset to make my own campaigns... I will really miss it
  12. Off course there isn't. My intentions was to confuse you (Just kidding, friend. Meant you no harm by making this thread) BTW: Wierd is my middle name
  13. A man of few words - That's an understatement Hi Mark, hope you join the tread, there is already many interesting questions you could answer (with a few words)
  14. Obviously You don't have children. Yeah you both misunderstood - So the plan is no good, but thanks for the reply's. All virgins offended can PM me
  15. Voted for the BG/IWD style puzzles. Was just thinking Trials of the Luremaster, that last dungeon if anyone remembers?? Now that was fun !!! And also the Severed Hand comes to mind. (Yes i love IWD ) I recently played a round of DA:O - There are some fun puzzles in there too
  16. I liked the puzzles in Trials of the Luremaster. I was stuck in that last dungeon for YEARS ....
  17. I am confident in the P:E team, they will not make a game without time limits By the way: Terikan comes to mind. That worked really good (Yes I'm an IWD fan... )
  18. And i thought Dragon's Eye (in Icewind Dale) was big with it's 5 levels. Imagine Dragons Eye times three. The mega-dungeon will be my first destination
  19. Great to hear from Rob Nesler, a hell of an artist. He is a good writer too
  20. Really? I don't understand? Are you saying i should not have brough my children into this world? If i could choose today between my children and a career, what would i choose? Do you have any children?
  21. The quest system is very important! There should be a way to sort the quests by chapter, location, or chronologicly or ... Hope you get my point - In the IE games it would have worked, if only there was a better way to sort.
  22. I think thats why so many like this game. You actually have to explore to find something interesting, it does not just pop up in your face. And still there is the plot all the way through the chapters. I like that. That's why i personally enjoyed this game more than BG2. I don't know about random encounters. So, are you playing the new EE version ? @Adhin. I liked the jokes, most of them. But i guess you are right, they put too many in there.
