  1. Aaah. And here I thought it was part of the engagement mechanic. Anyway, they should get rid of it. It's annoying. Well, it is an option in the menu. Just turn it off
  2. Yeah... We need MORE sliders.... I want a slider for the Developer Commentary. Currently those comments are way too low in volume, and the sfx are drowning the comments, they are on the SAME slider
  3. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be plenty of "custom" portraits... It is a simple process to (for instance) add the IWD portraits to PoE. And it has been done the other way around too It would be nice if Obsidian had the time to add more... But they are already working so hard, though ...

  6. It looked great, loads of spoilers ... Unfortunately the sound was crap. I bet I'm gonna have nightmares about giant crickets. Anyway... It was very interesting to see the stronghold, Od Nua, and Defiance Bay. Interesting conversations. Fun to see Josh play on hard, (and get lost in the dungeons)... Good job

  8. First- I HAVE TO REPEAT THIS--- Placing the log in the middle makes a big difference. It it so much better. Thanks Another "bug" -ish thing- though... : I check the "Disable excessive highlighting" button. In game the ingredients you can normally see with the -TAB is no longer showing. I found them in a little pixelhunt, and it is easy to turn the function on/off... But it would be better to fix, so that ingredients always are highlighted ?? Or making some options, of what should and shouldn't be hihghlighted??

  10. I played 5 minutes with the log in the middle, so much better -.... And I also like those IE options, yeah like @Sansuki says, I like to use 'circles always' and it's great to have the options to turn all kinds of stuff on/off... Thanks for the good, hard work @Bester
  11. I agree to almost anything, except you know, the UI, but enough has been said about that. This thread is about the good people at Obsidian, and their hard work. I want to thank all of you at Obsidian and I wish you good luck in the new year... I love the barbarian, the priest, the mage (erhm wizard) and the rogue is cool too... There is still a load of work to be done, but after 392, I am much more positive... Thanks Obsidian
  12. Yeah, strange, well I tried to quit completely, and made a new game. Save-buttons couldn't be clicked. Loaded, typed bb in the console.... Nothing happened, no menu at all... Quit the game completely, started up again, loaded, and it worked!!! Very strange, but wth, I made it work
  13. Good work, However, I have a bug. I can move the UI around just fine. But the save-button is not responding at all....

  16. I have been playing a bit more, so here are some new suggestions: Sounds and music: The voices in combat are annoying... Every time my enemy is hit, he utters the same "argh" or whatever. It would be cool, if my enemies would only scream half the times they were hit, and maybe scream some different phrases? I really like the music so far, just need MORE. Some general stuff: Char-creation is so much better now. I would like to see more text description, for instance under the "culture" tab, it would be nice to see (in text) which weapons the char is holding/starting out with. After a few tries i can recognize the weapons, but it was confusing the first couple of times. The wheel on the watermill is moving the wrong direction, against the stream? I would still like to have "Game paused" message moved to the log... I don't know why the level up button in the Char-GUI is now missing? If I don't speak to Halrond, the doors in the ruins are locked, and there is no way to solve the quest. Strange... Indeed a strange town, Dyrford... Everybody is standing outside their houses, and they never go in, to eat and sleep. I must admit I killed the whole town in one playtrough, they were just too annoying... The Combat: The curve from easy to normal difficulty is too steep. I play on easy, and the game is VERY easy. I play on normal, and suddenly the game is VERY hard... I don't even like the engagement system yet... The combat is still a bit confusing, or broken, should I say? In my latest run (on normal) i had only a few problems, got to the spider queen, and killed her easily. But Korgrak, (or was it one of the bears?) wiped the BBfighter out in ONE HIT (more than 100 in damage). I reloaded about 5 times, and just quit after that. Despite all the troubles, I would say 392 was a turning point in my book...
  17. This is a bug, and pretty game-breaking annoying - In my latest play-trough i didn't use stealth at all, and had to take the damage from traps... Or miss the good loot ...
  18. On my european keybord, the button just left to "backspace" opens up the console ... (Not the ~ key) - Try it (or you can assign another key in the menu?)

  23. I must say it's awesome. I normally don't repeat myself. But I have to say, AWESOME build ... Love all the small improvements, and the big ones too- Awesome - Why am I repeating myself?? I just have to Awesome. Thank you so much guys :D Awesome
