  1. Subbing. Fairly sure this isn’t the first time the ogre form’s flagged up as inadequate, but good to keep on the radar. Pretty bad right now.
  2. Doesn’t look like we can do without the mod entirely just yet. Summoned weapons at 3s are better, but 1.5s is better still—and recovery at 4s on weapons is just evil.
  3. I think it makes sense. It’s for a Priest—a class that doesn’t have Transcendent Suffering. If it didn’t scale with level, it would be useless unless the Priest was multiclassed with a Monk (and we don’t know that enemies will be.) Then again, if a fist weapon wouldn’t benefit from Transcendent Suffering, that would be weird and inconsistent. At best, *if* Priest of Wordica/Monk was a thing, they could make scaling and Transcendent Suffering mutually exclusive (i.e. only the higher bonus applies.)
  4. In Deadfire, that I know of, elemental lashes are checked separately against the relevant elemental AR.
  5. Let’s hope non of our enemies are Monk/Priest of Woedica, then! XD Btw, Tekehu is supposed to have a unique Chanter subclass too, but the Codex’s ability lost doesn’t mention it ... Odd.
  6. To the best of my knowledge that’s how it’s always worked and is intended behavior. Inspirations would be crazy good otherwise and there would be no way to remove them (for players from enemies too!)

  8. I too knew all that. What wasn’t in the launch trailer was in articles and interviews during the Fig campaign, or the QA streams.
  9. I would expect the Watershaper to get a power level boost with spells that have the Water keyword, and all his bonus spells to have that keyword. Granted, if I’m right but the bonus is just +1 PL, it’s not going to be great. Have you tried adding the Shark Spiritshift form via console to check out its stats?
  10. On a related note, do characters still use their “friendly fire” barks when hit with Consecrated Ground? They did in the first game and it was fairly annoying; haven’t checked in Deadfire.

  12. The sand blights after the Titan fight sink my FPS big time. Rest of the game is pretty smooth.

  16. My understanding of Empower is that no matter how many uses you have, you can only use it once in the course of a given battle. If you have 3 uses, for example, you would be able to use it once in three different battles before running out. I don’t think that has changed?
  17. Yeah, I thought too these already are mini DLCs. I’d be OK with just getting the items. Not as fun as taking part in the hunt, but better than nothing.
  18. I thought the same, Silent Winter. Why can’t the codes be input into Obsidian’s backer portal to obtain redeemable DLC GoG codes? We’d miss out on the logbook graphics, perhaps, but that sure beats missing out on 10 items!
