Here's what I could caption (I missed some stuff that was really on displayed for a fraction of a second I couldn't pause at the exact moment.)

It also looks like Tekehu's bonus spells from being a Watershaper are somewhat unique. For example he gets "Watery Double" instead of "Wizard Double"—a liquid copy of himself that can cast a few Water spells.

Beta IV - General Feedback [The Good // The Bad]
What they had done with STR/RES was not the solution. MaxQuest has good proposals to balance MIG—I would on board with those.

Deadfire Sneak Peak with Josh Sawyer - Wed April 25th
What’s with you guys and always streaming in the dead of the European night?

Two handed style seems weak
I’d rather lower damage than to make things slower, though. Anything that isn’t DW is already well into “stare at recovery and yawn” territory; let’s not drag DW in there too.

What multiclasses have you played with so far?
Dual-classing in AD&D is when you give up a profession to take up another. This is definitely multiclassing (which was possible with two classes as well in AD&D.)

Two handed style seems weak
I'd rather speed up everything else than slow down DW, honestly. 4s recovery on weapons is already a crime in itself—I've got to pack speed bonuses or die of boredom while I stare at my guys sitting through recovery.

All lash ability/spell need some tune/bug fixing
Been a while since I played PoE so it’s possible I’m misremembering.

Master Thread of Typos and Text Errors
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you say, "he was a likely tradesman," you're saying that he was believable as a tradesman. Perhaps he wasn't a tradesman, but people would easily mistake him for one. If you say, "he was likely a tradesman," you're saying there's a good chance he was a tradesman for a living (regardless of whether or not he appeared as one.) In the context of a sentence that continues with "rather than a warrior," it seems likely to me that the original intent was to say, "he was likely a tradesman rather than a warrior." As in, "it's more probable that he was a tradesman than a warrior." If you say he was believable as a tradesman, the follow-up "than a warrior" makes no sense. Or am I missing something here?

Game Crash on Quit to Menu
All right, now I'm curious—how did capes interfere with "quit to desktop"? :D #oddbugs

All lash ability/spell need some tune/bug fixing
I'm not sure I follow. In PoE a lash would apply 25% of your damage against 25% of the enemy's elemental DR, using the same DR bypass value as your main weapon; in Deadfire, a lash goes against the relevant elemental AR using the same AP value as your main weapon. It's a consistent translation of lashes from the old system to the new one. If lashes call for a nerf, then so does regular weapon damage on the grounds that it works in the exact same way. But I don't think a nerf is called for at all. Underpenetration already leads to reduced damage and elemental lashes can underpenetrate even if your main damage doesn't, because they are checked separately.

The strongest beta build
Yes. Once casting times are set, they are set for everyone.

What multiclasses have you played with so far?
Going by memory from the latest stream, Xoti's got decent DEX and INT and meh everything else.

AndreaColombo replied to TheisEjsing's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Same argument could be made for audio books versus actual books, since the characters in books are mostly people. Not a very good argument.

Who else is doing there first playthrough with all single class?
AndreaColombo replied to master guardian's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)You can have a taste of that in the beta by consolling in some high-level scrolls (hint: They look good.)

Who else is doing there first playthrough with all single class?
AndreaColombo replied to master guardian's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Depends on the high-level abilities, but I’ll likely multi my main and keep companions single-classed.

Deadfire will have FULL Voice over. It's ON!
AndreaColombo replied to TheisEjsing's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I loved Caroc’s voice acting, personally. Full VO doesn’t do much for me, but if all actors are as good as the Critical Role crew I’ll probably enjoy it. Still hoping that Allegra Clark, Ray Chase, and D. C. Douglas are in (for those who don’t know, they were Verse, Tunon, and Lantry in Tyranny respectively.)
