After meh FO3 and booooooring Skyrim i will wait for some steam sale of GOTY with all DLCs 2 years after the initial release. Unless Obsidian is involved in creating it, i cannot ever think of it as being even remotely good enough for pre-order/day 1 purchase.

I have yet to see a situation where a modern company would not follow a rule of equal pay for equal work no matter.the gender or sexual preference. Having said that each gender has different risks when being hired and thats based on biology. There are obvious things like no means no and respectful treatment etc. But thats base line common sense. What a lot of SJW groups are calling for are privilges, tangible advantages over others just because they are a. Minority b. Were mistreated i 100+ years ago. This should not have place.

Well IF Star Wars ep. 7 will be good then that will be an awesome period of time for sci-fi products to re-emerge o the top. We miss good sci-fi series like StarTrek StarGate or Battlestar Galactica. I can't even recall a name of some new good sci-fi production so no wonder that there is little hype for sci fi games. The last good game was Alien Isolation if you are into 'survival horrors' and that paid a good tribute to the original Alien movie.

Personally i like TB combat in isometric/top down RPGs. TB combat.can be fun and games like new.XCom proved that it can work even on consoles. only action rpgs like diablo should be real time. Party base benefits way more from being turn based.

I'd like some good dungeon crawler. I liked M&M X, i stopped playing Legends of Grim. because of that annoying "select the runes again and again" spellcasting. I preferred Legacy approach to spells. BUT that said, wasteland 2 wasn't as good as I hoped (combat is not really that good, and that's the point of pre-made by player party, right), and I have still my doubts about the quality of the new torment, so while I like the idea I am on the fence whether to fork out my money on it or not.

Well I understand making it approachable for older rigs, BUT at the same time, why not to allow the use of the most advanced graphics if you have super high end rigs... It makes purchases of such new kits pretty pointless if you cannot even use them casue all games get downgraded...

Well but on the other side, how many active presidents are actually skilled enough to play hockey? or basketball or Football (real one, not some american handball version) and be actually at least decently good at it?

I prefer TB combat. I like RT but i leave it to RTS and MOBA games. In TB you can work on various synergies, positioning on map and not even to mention aesthetics and animations (spells and melee combat) I really likenwhat the new Xcom did to the TB combat and i loved it. If that kindn of TB could be implemented in POE i'd love it.

The sales doen't matter, what matter is what happen after the sales...You could tell the same.after DA2... they will be making more games in DA universe and they will sell good... look at battlefield series. The problem is that they will sell even if garbage, because a) hype build up b) not many choices for new games of this type on consoles. (Rpg even if very lite) They will only ditch the franchise if the initial sales will be ****. Like in the case of Syndicate or C&C where they simply butchered the franchise

Cops killing unarmed people because they're jumpy and afraid of death really chose a poor line of work. Or need to be sent for some tours of duty against $current_terrorists. Not much one can do to avoid incidents like this, I guess one could make guns illegal in the US - that might work. Heh, in theory anyway. Maybe, after all in EU countries you get less incidents like this and also less incidents with cops killing someone "innocent" while on duty. It does happen sometimes but when you compare the total of EU and USA, they are less frequent.

You people need to find some real problems... if noone would feed any attention to the likes of AS (i had to look it up who that is and still dont really get what's the case) who are nothing but attention whores, cunning ones since they monetize their rambling, but still attention whores who no one in the world of sane people would give 2 Fs about. But there we have some people I won't describe due to extensive usage of derogatory adjectives needed for it, who gave the attention and started to bloat simple ramblings into such a scale that evebtually it reaches some PR people and minor media hence needs to be somehow addressed. And in the age of everyone being obsessed in the PR of not even being hinted as discriminating you get such results from huge companies that need to report to their shareholders...

If DA was only a PC exclusive then PoE would have a shot at destroying it. But consoles are quite a big market and since there is a shortage of interesting games on consoles things like DA:I sell good... 1 because hype. 2 because you don't have real alternatives for consoles. Skylines i did not try it yet. Waiting for some sale since i already have a huge backlog. If EA can F... up a Sims game with sims 4 release then problems with the latest simcity are not that odd anymore. Bioware will cease to exist once the trademark will get fully depraciated in the books. It's just the most economically sensible decision. By that time not many gamers will remember the original Bioware. (Even now you can see that a lot of people on the Biow forums started their adventure with ME or ME 2). Kids of 2000+ AD will not think of Bioware as some super good development studio. Same as kids of 90s don't recall Westwood or Bullfrog and same as kids of 80s don't really recall goldbox games or games like the original Wasteland. (For various reasons but in many cases it would be how expensive a computer was to relative incomes in many many countries)

I am writing from the phone with limited i-speed thus no links. In news there was report of two officers killed in Mississipi US during a routine vehicle control. A manhunt followed and suspects seemingly got apperhanded. I am not surprised that some police officers are more trigger twitchy in US if incidents like this happen there once in a while. Does anyone else got some more details. Also with this incident in mind how do you feel about accidents where officers kill someone not armed and how do you feel about lowering the risk of accidents without exposing them to more dangers like this incident?
